We Told You So

James Carville is a despicable grifter, and he explains how he made his fortune.

“Ideologies aren't all that important. What's important is psychology.

The Democratic constituency is just like a herd of cows. All you have to do is lay out enough silage and they come running. That's why I became an operative working with Democrats. With Democrats all you have to do is make a lot of noise, lay out the hay, and be ready to use the ole cattle prod in case a few want to bolt the herd.

Eighty percent of the people who call themselves Democrats don't have a clue as to political reality.
What amazes me is that you could take a group of people who are hard workers and convince them that they should support social programs that were the exact opposite of their own personal convictions. Put a little fear here and there and you can get people to vote any way you want.

The voter is basically dumb and lazy. The reason I became a Democratic operative instead of a Republican was because there were more Democrats that didn't have a clue than there were Republicans.

Truth is relative. Truth is what you can make the voter believe is the truth. If you're smart enough, truth is what you make the voter think it is. That's why I'm a Democrat. I can make the Democratic voters think whatever I want them to.”

Check out any Lefty blog-site.  For that matter, check out any (D) speech.   Then remember:  they are educating your children in public schools.

LOL, you got bamboozled yet again.

--In October 2012 the above-referenced quotation in which James Carville purportedly likened the Democratic constituency to "a herd of cows" received wide circulation on the Internet. It appeared to have originated with an unsourced posting to the ThinkExist.com which has been reproduced on a number of other web sites. However, we found no news article, speech, interview transcript, or printed source documenting this statement as one actually made by James Carville, and a representative from his office confirmed that the purported quote was not something Carville himself ever said:

Apparently the quote was falsely posted by an unknown user to a quotations website called thinkexist.com. We have contacted the website and asked them to take the quote down. James Carville never said these words, and this quote in no way belongs to James Carville. Feel free to distribute my response, so people know the truth that this quote was 100% falsely attributed to James Carville.--

So, where is the original source for his remarks? How do YOU know for 100A% certainty that Carville is the author? See, a normal person would have heard by now from a host of conservative news outlets about Carville's alleged statements regarding liberals and Democrats at some point in time. In response, he would have issued clarifications and/or retractions.

Instead of being truthful and accurate, as the Bible commands, you are willfully engaging in deceit. Putting a sawbuck or two in the till on Sunday is not going to absolve you of your wicked conduct. Confession would be more appropriate here.

LOL, St. Revo, how is it going? You're still here after a decade of getting your intellectual ass handed to you? Glutton for punishment after that banishment from Vox Day's site for using ad hominem as "argument".

Anyways, the fact of the matter is that there is no source that attributes directly to Carville's comment. It simply appeared out of thin air, and the website said it was his words. Again, there is NO source linked to it. A normal person sees right through this ruse.

Prove that he did NOT say it, pal.

I get why you are doubling down here. But God knows that you are lying through your teeth. There is NO documentation that Carville made those comments. They appeared on ThinkExist.com from an unsourced posting in 2012. So who was the poster? Where did this person hear these words? It is other than surprising that, since then, other websites have posted it under the assumption it is TRUE. When, in reality, there is ZERO evidence that the comments from his mouth. But you are so desperate for it to he accurate that you do not care if you make a complete ass out of yourself.

Well my goodness.

The reason that I double down is simple: every single word in that quote fits precisely with the known character and inclinations of Carville. He's always been a snot-nosed superiority-complex manipulator. He's good at it.

So he bragged in some drunken episode.....and there it is.

No, you're not going to get off that easy here. It is incumbent upon you to locate the original source, when and where Carville made those exact comments. Otherwise, you are no different than him. Even Evangeline is aghast at your unseemly behavior.

Sorry, pal. There is no "incumbency" here, expressed or implied. You can make up whatever rules you want, but I don't play Calvinball.

Note well: the excerpts are taken from a 'net source which is linked. Second, I have let all your objection-posts stand. Third, citing Snopes is just as silly as citing Poynter crap.

Take a nap, have a beer.

"Note well: the excerpts are taken from a 'net source which is linked."

Don't be obtuse. When and where did Carville made those exact comments? The linked source simply put up his quotations without offering ANYTHING. The reader is left to assume he made those statements, when we do not have any actual definitive proof.

"Second, I have let all your objection-posts stand."

You should. Removing them would only further indicate your complicity in perpetuating an outright falsehood.

"Third, citing Snopes is just as silly as citing Poynter crap."

Challenge the material in the source, not the source itself. That's basic 101 Logic.

On this glorious Sunday, you have the audacity to continue to lie in front of Him. You have no shame.

Dad29 said...

There IS no "shame" in what I've done here; if anything, leaving your mindless/toothless drivel up in the combox is a mark of well-deserved honor.

Tell me, when did Carville deny this? Where? What was he wearing? What did he have for breakfast that day?

THe world awaits your answers. Your "cred" is on the line!

"There IS no "shame" in what I've done here; if anything, leaving your mindless/toothless drivel up in the combox is a mark of well-deserved honor."

A normal Christian would apologize for outright lying. But your foolish pride gets in the way.

"Tell me, when did Carville deny this?"

The source I provided clearly referenced it. Pay closer attention. Now there is NOTHING directly linking him to those statements except a random post from a website that did not give any indication when and where

Why do you continue to lie in front of God?

Dad29 said...

My, you have an inordinate interest in the state of my soul.....

That's a good thing. Keep it up. Your congregation--whoever they may be--would be proud of you.

Buy a collar; they're cheap. Slam your Bible where redemption is needed, like outside the Democrat Party HQ, where Hell is in session.

One more thing: James Carville is a lying crapweasel. You suggest that we take the word of his "spox", which is based on the word of Carville?

Ah, you "journalists." It's no wonder that almost nobody bothers to purchase your bullshit any more.

Visual propaganda has always had a more immediate and lasting impact than the written word. Nearly flawless video can now be generated showing the likes of Carville in any setting, saying anything you want him to say. This is the future of molding political narratives. Journalists regurgitating press releases will still have some supporting backend spin value. Maybe.
