Garland has appointed David Weiss as the special prosecutor on the Hunter Biden case.
You remember Weiss, right? He's the US attorney who tried to ram through a plea-bargain which would have 1) Let Biden off with NO jail time, and 2) held Biden harmless for ANY OTHER CRIMES discovered in later investigation.
Weiss figured the judge in the case wouldn't read the fine print. She did, and nixed the deal.
So Weiss, substituting for Hunter's mommy, will be the 'prosecutor' going forward.

Over 30 Republican senators signed off on a letter last September, calling for Weiss to be appointed as a special counsel. The letter said that Weiss would be able to "provide additional assurances to the American people that the Hunter Biden investigation is free from political influence".
Biden gave them what they (and you) wanted, yet there still is bitching. Typical.
