Walker's Opponent: Most Depraved? Or Most Depraved?

This Evers guy who's running against Scott Walker......it's near impossible to measure his depravity.

we need to have the Medicaid money be available for all people and restricting it because of a certain procedure, whether it’s a tonsillectomy or any other procedure, seems to me a foolhardy thing to do.
Quoted at Boots/Sabers

Sure, Tony.  And the Holocaust was like spraying the yard for bugs.

Pa. Priest-Predators 80% Homosexual

Consistent with the John Jay study of the early 2000's, a LifeSite analysis shows that 80% of the priest-predators in Pennsylvania are homosexuals.

...a LifeSiteNews analysis of the Pennsylvania grand jury report released mid-August revealed 75 percent of accused priests were pederasts, that is, they preyed on teenagers. Of these, one-fifth preyed on teenage girls, and four-fifths on teenage boys....

Fr. Massingale has not addressed this issue publicly, although he's quite certain that homosexual "marriage" will be a boon to society and that all that silly "morality" came from the Council of Trent in the 1500's.

True to form, Abp. Listecki could not be reached for comment.

Smacking Swamp-Critters on the Nose

Trump has a lot of balls--which separates him from 99% of the effete twit-politicians in Federal, State, or local Government.  (Take, for example, Paul Ryan.  Please!!)

...President Donald Trump informed Congress on Thursday that he is canceling pay raises due in January for most civilian federal employees, citing budget constraints. But the workers still could see a slightly smaller boost in their pay under a proposal lawmakers are considering.

Trump said he was axing a 2.1 percent across-the-board raise for most workers as well as locality pay increases averaging 25.7 percent and costing $25 billion....

The amount of the raise is virtually insignificant.  But the amount of ululation, reeeee-reeeeeing, and hysterical screeching will be monumental.  Then there will be the pouting.  Finally, there will be even more of the insolence and bureaucratic inaction which we've all grown to know and love.

Then, after the Entitled Ones have pissed off enough Americans, there will be a furious reaction which will not be pretty.

Big Blue and ATT Screw You!!

Gee.

This is a real shocker.  /sarcasm

Outsourcing corporation IBM laid off about 20,000 older Americans in the last five years, a new investigation reveals, while the tech multinational sought to import at least 37,000 foreign workers to take U.S. jobs....

Here's the part that will REALLY set you back a couple of steps:

...about 60 percent of the Americans that were laid off by IBM in the last five years were workers over the age of forty.....

FORTY, the new "Geezer."

This is precisely what Norm has been saying for at least 5 years.

And it's not just IBM, either.  AT&T has an allergy to American workers.

...Since 2011, AT&T has outsourced or eliminated more than 16,000 U.S. jobs, including the closure of 44 call centers. Just this year, AT&T has shuttered four call centers in the U.S. and sent those American jobs to foreign countries....

....but there are plenty of food-store clerk and hamburger-flipper jobs for American yout' with $40K or so in college-loan debts.

Meantime, the US military will protect the US assets of these firms, so their management can sleep better at night.

A Bergoglio Love-Fest

Not only will the Archdiocese of Milwaukee be ....ahhhh....."graced" with the presence of the notorious home-grown homosexualist Fr Bryan Massingale, who will lead a retreat for homosexual priests in early October, but we ALSO get a Love-Fest for Pp. Bergoglio!!!

The Sacred Heart seminary will be presenting a 2-day seminar on "Discovering Pope Francis":  Spiritual, Philosophical, Cultural and Theological references.

The speakers include Abp. Jerome Listecki who cannot bring himself to speak to the press about Fr. Massingale's laughable "morality" claims, particularly regarding homosexuals; Cdl. Blase Cupich who may even address crises such as global warming, cooling, worming, or farting; Austen Ivereigh, who will speak in British to cover up his particular talent for brown-nosing uber alles; and a few scholarly-types who will speak on topics which suspciously look like warmed-over base-community liberation theology.  You remember, right?  That's the "People of God" thing. sorta.

But who knows??  Someone might address "Firing Doctrine Chiefs for Fun and Friends", or "Five Simple Steps to Complete Sacramental Confusion and Sacrilege", or Pp. Francis' favorite "The Silent Treatment:  Just Don't Answer Questions!!" (something he clearly shared with Jerome Listecki, Archbishop of Milwaukee.)   Unhappily, Sacred Heart did not think to schedule experts on "Peronism:  Governance by Lying Like a Rug" which we understand is a very well-worn pamphlet sitting on Francis' desk.

Conveeeeeeeeeeeeeniently, the Sacred Heart event is scheduled for the weekend following the Massingale Massacre.

Stop by!!  Wave and greet all the folks!!

Is Betsy DeVos Competent to Run D.o.Education?

The US Department of Education is showing signs of being another US Department of (In)Justice:  headed by a Trump appointee, still operating in the ObamaFascist mode.  And when even NPR (!!) questions your numbers, you have a problem.

Ms DeVos should get a grip on that crap-show or resign and take a nice world tour on her yacht.

South Africa "Turn In Your Guns" Order Issued

The well-known first step to tyranny just went into effect in South Africa.

The Constitutional Court of South Africa recently ruled that 300,000 gun owners must turn in their firearms.

This judgement came in response to the North Gauteng High Court’s ruling in 2017 which said Section 24 and Section 28 of the Firearm’s Control Act were unconstitutional....

In the USA, that order would be met with a loud eruption of laughter and THE taunt:  "From my cold, dead, hands."

At least, that's the situation today.

+Cupich Beclowns Himself

One senses that a resignation is in the wind.

The current Cardinal in Chicago, +Blase Cupich (a/k/a/ Blazing Cupcake) opines that the current Pope has bigger things to worry about than homosexual rape or homosexual assaults and cover-ups by such as Tobin of Newark, McCarrick of Noplace Right Now, Wuerl of the Embassy Row Palace, or Farrell who is Safe in Rome At This Time.

Yes, indeed:  global warming and migrants are FAR more important, says +Cupcake.

And by the way, this is all RAAAAAAAAAAACCIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!

GM, Chrysler To Take Big Hits on Trade Deal

It appears that--if the deal actually gets signed and sealed--GM and Chrysler will be taking hits on the new trade agreement with Mexico, which is a deal that Canada has not even considered.

See, the deal requires a minimum wage of $16.00/hour in auto plants (about a 400% raise for Mexicans building Silverado trucks) and 75% North American content, blocking the Chinese crap steel, aluminum, and electronic components.  There are also provisions 'pushing' automakers to build new plants in the USA.

All good there!!

But not so good for Canada, whose lace-cuffed Prime Minister is going to show Donald Trump who's the *real* boss in North America.  Yah.  Good luck with that, Justin....

Chrysler has a huge plant right across the river from Detroit.  GM manufactures the Chevy Equinox up in Canada, too.  Neither of them want to absorb a 25% tariff.

This should be fun to watch.

The Character Assasination of Abp. Vigano

It appears that a Minnesota lawfirm and/or a Minnesota priest smeared Abp. Vigano.

And Vigano has to documentation to prove it.

You can read the entire story here.  It presents some very interesting information on the lawfirm, and raises serious questions about the integrity of the priest, not to mention Cdl. Ouellet, head of the Congregation for Bishops in Rome.

The story of 'the Network' is hardly started.

The Massingale Scandal: Where Is the Archbishop of Milwaukee??

The Archbishop of Milwaukee, +Jerome Listecki, can't seem to find the courage to send Fr. Massingale a registered return-receipt letter, telling him that he may not speak here, nor lead any "retreat", whether for homosexuals or straights.

This is how scandal spreads, as Pope Francis recently learned.  Maybe Pope Francis doesn't care, but the Archbishop should, right??

Here's a sample of Massingale in action:

...CNSNews.com asked Rev. Massingale, “Section 2357 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church says that ‘homosexual acts are contrary to the natural law.  They close the sexual act to the gift of life.  They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.’ That’s a quote. So, from your presence here today, is it safe to say that both of you disagree with this portion of Catholic law?”

Rev. Massingale said, “First, we have to become clear about, that it’s not Catholic law, it’s a Catholic teaching. It’s a distinction and a difference there. So let’s phrase your question more precisely –” at which point CNSNews.com asked, “Do you disagree with Catholic teaching on that?”

Rev. Massingale then said, “I would be much more nuanced instead of saying agree or not because I think the issue before us right now as Congress, or as a body, is this: Regardless of human behavior, what is our stance regarding the protection of fundamental human dignity?  -- which is the reason why I phrased my intervention the way I did.”...

Not "Yes, I agree with the Church's teaching."  Nope.  Just don't answer the question, as that wouldn't be good for The Cause.  Deflect, defer, blather.

This is what the Archbishop won't terminate.

Oh. but there's more!!

No matter what you think of "transgender" people--whether mentally ill, or horribly confused--"Fr." Massingale has the answer!!

...The main presenters were a young man and young woman, Mateo and Anna. Their powerful stories of their struggles over realizing the deep disjunction between their birth bodies and their inner sense of being a man or a woman were heartbreaking and inspiring. Both also movingly related how their “transition” into their transgender bodies was a faith journey as well. I was struck by their heartfelt conviction that accepting their true gender identities led them to a deeper and more authentic relationship with God. ...

Making up a "reality" distinct from what is true will not 'lead to a more authentic relationship with' Truth.  Compassion does not "accompany" one further into fantasy worlds.  Instead, genuine Catholic compassion accompanies one to the Truth and the salvation present there.

Massingale is most infamous for his op-ed published in Abp. Dolan's own newspaper (!!!) in which Massingale begged Wisconsin Catholics to approve homosexual "marriage."  In the letter, he proposed that "families" of homosexual marriages would be better protected because of the legal structure surrounding traditional marriage for such things as inheritance, hospital visitation, etc..

In other words, vote for "gay" marriage because the end (legal protections) would justify the means (gay marriage).  Every Catholic knows that the end NEVER justifies the means.  Never.  Ever.  At one time, even the Jesuits knew that.  Now Massingale teaches at Fordham, and had taught at Marquette.

Even more noxious is Massingale's declaration that 'sin was a development of the Council of Trent.'  Aside from the utterly ludicrous proposition (to which Moses might have a response), it is a very crude way of dissociating 'sin' from 'natural law.'  That fits perfectly into the homosexualist's propaganda scheme.

Massingale won't agree with the Catechism's teaching.  He begs for gay "marriage."  He thinks that trans-sexual's fantasies are a means of 'better knowing God.'  He invents moral history from thin air.

The Archbishop won't stop him, won't answer the questions from the press, won't point out the errors Massingale spreads.

That begs the question:  "Why do we have an Archbishop?"

Hmmmmm????

This Is THE Catholic Quandary

Dreher, in a column dealing with the +Vigano Revelations:

...Though his was an improvement on his predecessor’s,* Pope Benedict’s governing style was weak. It is a matter of speculation as to whether that was a matter of recognizing painful realities (“My authority ends at that door”), or whether it was a case of personal weakness — in particular, a fear of giving public scandal by challenging prelates publicly....

To the well-formed Catholic )and to well-formed NON-Catholics) it is somewhere between 'never-never' and 'extremely distasteful' to call a spade a spade, particularly if that spade is a priest or bishop.  We all knew that Rembert Weakland was a fairy--but until it was revealed that he swiped $400 Large from the faithful, it was not a topic of conversation.  Same goes for the couple of dozen priests who eventually were convicted of horrific child abuse; until they were 'named and shamed' by the nooz people, we knew, but didn't talk.

This may be changing; but who knows if it is really 'for the better.'  And of course, having girl-ish mannerisms is simply NOT the same as assaulting teenaged boys, nor is it the same as trysting with another man--and in the latter case, the offender(s) don't wear neon signs saying "We're Doing It!!"

So there's public scandal--which B-16 wanted to avoid--and there's the other little problem:  detraction.

John Hardon, SJ:  [Detraction is] revealing another's sins to a third party who does not need to know about them, which is intertwined with this:  Honor is the social witness given to human dignity, and everyone enjoys a natural right to the honor of his name and reputation and to respect. Thus, detraction and calumny offend against the virtues of justice and charity....

All this will be tested, severely, over the next several months.

Did +Vigano commit the sin of detraction with his letter?  Well, that phrase "need to know" plays a very significant role, ain'a?

*As to JPII's authority problem, one only needs to look at his complete cave-in vis-a-vis the Jesuit order in Central America.  See "The Jesuits" by Malachi Martin

Dis-Transgender-ification

The Warrior always has interesting stuff.

Seems that the majority of trannies have tranny-regret.

...There are 12 such studies in all, and they all came to the very same conclusion: The majority of kids cease to feel transgender when they get older....

Goes to show you that some mental diseases are reversible.  But what can the poor kid do if he/she/it already had the plumbing reversed?

Paul Ryan, Pathetic Sore Loser

Zman makes a very good point here.

...Once [Trump] won the election, the political establishment adjusted its tactics. Paul Ryan rallied the dweeb army inside the GOP to basically ignore Trump’s agenda. That’s why nothing happened on the border wall, immigration or infrastructure. The point is being made that working with Trump would be death for any Republican. In fact, the leadership went out of its way to make sure nothing Trump wanted was in the last budget. The message was being sent that the people in charge saw Trump as a hostile outsider to be resisted...

Not just a sore loser.  A pathetic, small, craven loser.  So Planned Parenthood Murder, Inc., will have its taxpayer money.  Again.  There will be more and more Mollies and Kates.

Gee, Paul, whatever happened to that nice "Catholic" boy you used to be??

Why should we assume that his hand-picked successor will be different, hmmmmm?

St. Torquemada? Is That You??

Lifted from the VoxDay blog.

Well, then.  Fire at will!!!

Another False Flag Coming in Syria

Evidently Cruise Captain Bill Kristol, has money to burn.

...The Russians have delivered a demarche to the State Department, warning the Americans to desist from their plans to attack Syria. Russian intelligence learned that eight tanks containing chlorine have been delivered to Halluz village of Idlib province where the group of specially trained militants has already been deployed in order to simulate the rescue of the victims of chemical attack. The militants were trained by the British private military company Olive (which had merged with the American Constellis Group.....(quoted at Vox)

The hope from the NeoConservatives (Kristol, et al) is that the US will bomb the crap out of Syria again, provoking The Bear to retaliate.

I suppose that this is their memorial to John McCain, or something.

Two Men, (Continued)

Another study in two men.

...Regarding Cupich, one cannot fail to note his ostentatious arrogance, and the insolence with which he denies the evidence that is now obvious to all: that 80% of the abuses found were committed against young adults by homosexuals who were in a relationship of authority over their victims. During the speech he gave when he took possession of the Chicago See, at which I was present as a representative of the Pope, Cupich quipped that one certainly should not expect the new Archbishop to walk on water. Perhaps it would be enough for him to be able to remain with his feet on the ground and not try to turn reality upside-down, blinded by his pro-gay ideology, as he stated in a recent interview with America Magazine. Extolling his particular expertise in the matter, having been President of the Committee on Protection of Children and Young People of the USCCB, he asserted that the main problem in the crisis of sexual abuse by clergy is not homosexuality, and that affirming this is only a way of diverting attention from the real problem which is clericalism. In support of this thesis, Cupich “oddly” made reference to the results of research carried out at the height of the sexual abuse of minors crisis in the early 2000s, while he “candidly” ignored that the results of that investigation were totally denied by the subsequent Independent Reports by the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2004 and 2011, which concluded that, in cases of sexual abuse, 81% of the victims were male.  --Excerpted from the letter of Cdl. Vigano, former Vatican [Ambassador] to the US

"Ostentatious arrogance."  Hmmmm.

Contrast with Fr. Frank Phillips, accused (many say dishonestly) of a 'non-criminal' act (both in Canon Law and in civil law) so as to force him to give up the pastor's slot at St. John Cantius of Chicago.

You never heard a peep from Fr. Phillips, other than "I'm leaving and will be moving to St Louis."

Humility.

A Study in Humility: Two Men

We now know that Pp. Francis is All Hat, No Cattle on the matter of punishment for predator Cardinals.  This is made extremely clear by the testimony of Cdl. Vigano, the former Vatican Delegate (Ambassador) to the US.

Francis knew--as of 2013--what McCarrick did, and to whom; Vigano TOLD him, and there is a dossier on McCarrick which is rather thick.

But Francis ignored all that, released McCarrick from the shackles Benedict XVI had placed on him, and plowed ahead, appointing allies of McCarrick to a number of plum spots in the US and the Vatican.

Francis and McCarrick strutted about, crowing and preening thereafter, with Francis daring to mouth platitudes about "transparency" (see his August 12th letter) and "reparation."

In other words, Francis tried to baffle us with bullshit.

Meantime, Cdl. Vigano also explains that Cdl. Burke got the axe from the Congregation for Bishops--and that that particular move was made at the behest of McCarrick.

You didn't learn that from Cdl. Burke, did you?  You didn't hear him name names, or say what he KNEW to be true about his removal (or of his removal from the Condom-Suppliers of Malta--undoubtedly related to the Queer Infestation)

Did you?

Nope.

That difference between Francis and Burke tells you all you need to know about the virtue of humility.

Humility!

On John McCain

Let us pray that McCain had the opportunity to reconcile himself with God.

Responding to the Terrorist

Stolen directly from AOSHQ!!!

Are you a Democrat, a Republican or a Southerner?
The answer can be found by posing the following question:
You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children.
Suddenly, a terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams "Allah ho akhbar!", raises the knife, and charges at you...
You are carrying a Kimber 1911 .45 ACP, and you are an expert shot.
You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.
What do you do?

THINK CAREFULLY AND
THEN SCROLL DOWN:

Democrat's Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!
What is a Kimber 1911.45 ACP?
Does the man look poor or oppressed?
Is he really a terrorist? Am I guilty of profiling?
Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
Could we run away?
What does my wife think?
What about the kids?
Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?
What does the law say about this situation?
Does the pistol have appropriate safety built into it?
Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?
Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?
Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?
If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?
Should I call 9-1-1?
Why is this street so deserted?
We need to raise taxes, have paint & weed day.
Can we make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.
I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus.
This is all so confusing!

The Curious Silence of Abp. Listecki

Pew-sitters in the Milwaukee Archdiocese have not seen the face of Abp. Listecki, nor heard his actual voice, in the matter of Fr. Bryan Massingale's upcoming "retreat-leadership" in Racine.

That's the most interesting takeaway from all three news-stories filed on the matter; those were on Channel 4, Channel 58, and now in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

One other consistency:  none of the news stories mentioned Massingale's op-ed favoring gay "marriage" in Wisconsin, nor his interesting/wackadoodle proclamation that 'morality was invented at Trent' which dissociates moral action from Natural Law.  In other words, the reporters were very adroitly "spun" by the Archdiocese (and by Massingale, of course.)

Abp Listecki wrote a letter.  That's all.  No face-time on TeeVee, no direct interface with the print media.  What's up with that??

One more minor note:  Milwaukee has TWO auxiliary Bishops.  You won't know that through any of the news-stories, either.

Pp. Francis' "Show-Time" Games

It appears that Pope Benedict knew all about now-Bishop McCarrick's adventures with seminarians and slapped McCarrick with a number of restrictions on his activities.

Pp. Francis reversed those restrictions--but now, with the whole thing exploding in his face, did a "show-time" move, re-imposing approximately the same penalties.  The rubes-in-the-pews were supposed to see that and be happy.

Imagine that!!

Worse:  Cdl. Wuerl know all about B-16's action (he's lied about that, ya'know)--and then McCarrick 'helped' Pp. Francis appoint Cdls. Cupich and Tobin (Newark.)

In England, that sort of 'club-member promotions' were done by a cabal known as the "Magic Circle."

Given what we know so far, it's more like "Black Magic" here.

UPDATE:  and even worse yet.....

...A number of other cardinals and bishops are implicated in the cover-up, including Cdls. Pietro Parolin (current secretary of state), Angelo Sodano, Tarcisio Bertone, William Levada, Lorenzo Baldisseri and Francesco Coccopalmerio, among others.

Viganò accuses Coccopalmerio and Abp. Vincenzo Paglia of belonging to "the homosexual current in favor of subverting Catholic doctrine on homosexuality." He also named Cdl. Edwin O'Brien as belonging "to the same current" — whom Church Militant has revealed was a homosexual ringleader in New York and deliberately underreported homosexual priestly abuse in the military....

Hmmm.  "in favor of subverting Catholic doctrine on homosexuality."  Looking at Milwaukee, who ELSE is working on such "subversion"?   Hmmmmmm???

We BOUGHT The Rope (From Red China)

There's a lot of whining going on from various Senators, industries, and general whiners (Democrats) about the Trump Tariffs.

And some of that whining is coming from US entities funded by..........Red China.

Remember that Kruschev said that the Commies would sell us the rope to hang ourselves?

Yah.  He was right.  The money Red China is spending here came from the US.  Thanks, RoJo!!

Gee!! Shel Lubar Is Still a Democrat!!

The local rag's pathetic attempt to show that Tammy the Baby-Killer is 'good for biz.'

Shel Lubar has been a loyal (D) since he was in the Johnson Administration as the Big Kahuna at FHA.  It's a disappointment that he's in bed (figuratively only) with Baldwin the Baby-Killer, but not exactly a surprise.

The New York guy in the picture?  Another real shock.  To him, Milwaukee is the most racist city in the entire USA.  OK, then.

Tammy's a do-nothing, because Tammy has no agenda aside from Tammy.  She jumps on Trump's "America First" campaign, but tosses vets into the ashcan of history.

She has yet to explain her lovey-dovey take on illegals to the parents of their victims, by the way.

Wait. Is This Guy a Russian??

Apparently the Russkies are everywhere!!

President Trump’s financial gatekeeper was granted immunity by federal authorities in New York and testified before a grand jury, the third longtime confidant of Mr. Trump known to have provided information in an illegal hush-money investigation that has implicated the president....

So where are the Russkies here?  Is the CFO a Russkie?  How did he change the vote totals??

We're confused.

'There's MONEY in Them Thar Hills!!!'

Gee.  Those poor ol' "public servants" deserve our sympathy and maybe even higher pay and bennies.

Or maybe not.

Comey, who portrays himself as an angelic character, and Mueller, who (we are told) has more integrity than the next 1,000 people you know (COMBINED), seem to have a relationship with money that is........ahhh........unseemly.

But they both need security clearances for Free Speech.

The Facebook/YouTube Plan for You

Recently found in a dumpster in Silicon Valley, this document was signed by the Chairmen of both Facebook and YouTube, and was in an envelope addressed to the CEO of Twitter for his signature.

...Members of the public who have been chosen for re-education have been infected by an ideological illness … In order to provide treatment to people who are infected with ideological illnesses and to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment, the..... Social Media Committee decided to set up re-education camps, organizing special staff to teach... social media laws, regulations, ethical and religious policies, and various other guidelines.”

“Families of those who have been taken for re-education may have concerns … those worries are unnecessary … If the trainees fail to achieve the desired results, they will continue classes free of charge until they are qualified and fit to leave. Citizens, please remain calm and relax.”

“At the end of re-education, the infected members of the public return to a healthy ideological state of mind, which guarantees them the ability to live a beautiful and happy life with their families...

Other CC's on the document included the NSA and FBI, plus assorted offices in Main Justice.  A blind copy was sent to Mueller.

Archdiocese of Milwaukee Getting Nervous

Because the Walking Scandal, Fr. Bryan Massingale, will be "leading" a retreat for homosexual priests in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, said Archdiocese has been getting nasty mail from its members.

Gee.  I'm shocked!  The Archbishop told everybody that he didn't give permission, wasn't asked, and is certainly miffedPut out, even!  Not angry....no, no.  Not that.

Well, the cards and letters continue to come in, so the Archdiocese spent a few bucks on its PR agency and "inoculated" itself with a few planted TV-News stories.  And man alive, they did a good job of spinning those reporters!!  So the Archdiocese got its money's worth.

Maybe.

See, those new stories do NOT mention that Massingale wrote a letter imploring Wisconsin Catholics to approve "gay" marriage, when we faced a referendum on the matter.  They do NOT mention that ALL FOUR of Wisconsin's Bishops were opposed--in writing--to "gay" marriage, making Massingale into a homosexualist--which he has been ever since.

It's not "gay" priests.  We know about that.  It's about Massingale, the Walking Scandal.

And the Archbishop, who is miffed, maybe even put out, well---he can't tell Massingale that he's not welcome here, nor can he tell him that if he's here, he may not speak about his---ahhh---intrinsic problem.

And some people wonder why the priesthood is full to the top with homosexuals.

Taxpayers to Finance Tranny Surgery in Wisconsin

Governor Walker has some 'splainin' to do--but he won't.

The board that controls state employees’ health benefits has voted to again cover gender identity-related benefits and services.

The vote comes after the Group Insurance Board opted to do so in July 2016, before rolling back the call in early 2017.

The vote was 5-4, with BOTH of Walker's appointees voting "Yes".

There had been a "bot" campaign, of course.

...the Board has received a considerable amount of correspondence regarding the lack of coverage,”...

OK, Scott.  Your move.

Paul Ryan's Budget: Planned Parenthood Money!! (Again)

It's a good thing that Paul Ryan is quitting Congress.

He'll have time to go to a remote monastery and do penance for his funding of Planned Parenthood.

I know that's a Senate vote......but Ryan's House moved it there.  And I'm sure that Ryan will unload some crappy-crap-crap about how he 'opposes' killing babies.

OK, Paul.  Whatever.

More Feeb Lies. We Trust Them, No??

Briefly, Comey said that the Feebs had reviewed all 700,000++ emails on Abedin's computer.

He lied.

They didn't get through 4,000.  Then they gave up so Hillary could be elected.

Yah.  We should trust the FEEBS, just like the IRS, and the DoJ.

Sure.

We're Just Watching the Revolution So Far....

Up to this point in time, we've watched the seditionists working their revolution.

...nothing compares to the aftermath of 2016. Because the decision was such a shock to so many, it has seemingly been impossible for most Democrats, Leftists, and #NeverTrumpumpkins to accept that their revulsion against the Republican candidate was not as widely shared as they had assumed, nor dispositive when it came to the final result. Because they found Trump a vulgar, morally objectionable, nouveau riche arriviste who did not attend their favored Ivy League schools (Harvard and Yale), they assumed those traits would disqualify him in the eyes of the country—after all, everybody they knew felt exactly the same way. They fought him in the Electoral College, during the transition, after the inauguration, and every step of the way since. And now we know they even tried to sabotage his candidacy in the back rooms of a flagrantly corrupt Justice Department, FBI, and CIA as the campaign was starting.

So far, nothing has worked. With their ultimate goal of impeaching, convicting and removing Trump from office still front and center in their minds, the so-called “resistance” also hopes to turn the tide of public opinion against him via their shills and fellow travelers in a now openly partisan media, and somehow force his hand to resignation. The long march through the institutions has brought us to this moment, one in which a relatively small group of people—all of whom went to the same schools, live in the same neighborhoods, attend church and shul with each other, sleep with each other, marry each other, work with each other, and vacation with each other—has determined to overthrow the American electoral system in a gigantic fit of pique....

So far, the electorate has allowed this crap to continue.  So far.

...To this end, they have now undertaken the tactics of the imperial court of Tiberius. Through their control of social media and their penchant for doxing people with whom they disagree, they are now endeavoring to delegitimize their opponents essentially by threatening them into silence or, worse, getting them fired for crimes of association, no matter how tenuous, or even imaginary....

I really hate to have to pack up and travel to D.C.

NOTIFICATION: Blogger (Google) Is Wacky

Just so all y'all understand, when you post a comment, Blogger does not send an email notification to me, because Blogger refuses to allow me to change my email address.

Ever try to actually TALK (on the phone!!) with a West Coast techno-outfit?  That doesn't happen.

If Pubbies Keep Majority in the House....

So.

We all know that if the (D) Party takes a majority position in the House, there will be an impeachment.  That's what Mueller is working on right now, at about $1.5 million/month.

But what if the (D) Party does NOT take that majority?

Will Schumer and Pelosi accuse the voters of  "obstruction of justice"?

Will voters be forced to plead 'guilty' to Influencing an Election?

So many questions, so little time.

I, Too, "Affected the Election"

Just like Cohen, who was represented by a Clinton Mob mouthpiece, I affected the election.

I voted.  And I paid for the gasoline to get to the polls.  And I didn't report the expenditure!!!

So how come they don't ask me to mouth off on Fox and Friends?

Weigel: Stuffed Shirt, Pompous Prune or Disconnected Dodo?

A number of years ago, Weigel was the Guest Big-Name Speaker at a fundraising dinner for a local Catholic school.  (The school was Catholic because Rembert Weakland had nothing to do with it.)

Weigel launched into his speech by insulting Catholics who worshipped with the Extraordinary Form (Latin) Mass.  It didn't take long for me to go to 'speech-sleep' mode.  I didn't miss anything, by the way.

Stuffed shirt?  Pompous prune?  Disconnected dodo??

Today,  Weigel has more words from his mountain, wherever that might be.

...Denying the reality of intrinsically evil acts helped create a dynamic of license in which abusive clergy gave themselves passes on other issues. Authentic reform now means restoring the moral foundations of Catholicism. Thus it is imperative that both Rome and the U.S. bishops reaffirm the reality of intrinsically evil acts as taught by the 1993 encyclical Veritatis Splendor....

And thus, the remedy for the current horrific scandal?

...That will almost certainly mean responsible laity helping good bishops call their less-than-effective or less-than-honest brother-bishops to their duty when necessary. Bishops should welcome such help, not resist it; lay Catholics must understand that bishops are the bottom line of Church governance....

I don't know if Weigel is on a remote mountain, or in a different solar system altogether.   'Calling....to do duty....'?  Really?  How about hot tar and lots of feathers?  The rack?  Iron maiden?

I think "Pompous Prune," but "Disconnected Dodo" is a strong contender.

Hey, Tammy!! Still Like "Sanctuary Cities"?

There are a thousand reasons to elect ANYBODY BUT TAMMY this Fall.

Here's one:

Her name is Mollie Tibbets.

She used to live in Iowa.

Her killer (allegedly, with lots of videotape evidence at hand) is an illegal alien.

How Far the Catholic League Has Fallen

At one time, the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights was headquartered in Milwaukee--at the Catholic Knights Tower on Wells Street.  At that time, it was run by Fr. Virgil Blum, S.J. (when most of the Jesuits were actually Catholic!!) and employed a few laymen and women who managed the goings-on.

I met one of those lay staffers, Mike Schwartz,  in the early '80's; he told me that it was clear that "Rembert Weakland was a man educated far beyond his intelligence!", a description which now seems to characterize most of the US Catholic Bishops.

Anyhow.  The League moved to New York City and is now run by a rather aggressive (and VERY well-paid) guy who seems to think that his salary depends on defending the Catholic Hierarchy, no matter what.  He does that by defaming unhappy Catholic conservatives, of course; it's all he has, and it's what he does.

$500K/year for that crap, Donohue?  Is that what 30 pieces of silver comes to these days?

Catholic Church? Or Federal Government??

YOU decide.

...It has become increasingly clear that the current problem with the episcopacy is a perversion of true hierarchy (sacred order) that has turned bishops from shepherds into middle managers, and the Vatican into a corporate headquarters full of bureaucrats, all of whom have lost touch with the Church’s mission and concentrate instead on growth of market share or, failing that, self-preservation....

Maybe Donald Trump should run for Pope, eh?

That graf describes the local Ordinary, H.E. Listecki, perfectly.  He's surrounded himself with Canon and civil lawyers (and he, too, has that mark of infamy on his resume) and has hunkered down, issuing bland, useless, and gutless "statements" while hoping that Catholics won't notice that his Diocese is filled with homosexual priests, at least one of which is a notorious dissenter (Massingale).

We'll see.  On September 15th, some people will be picketing the Chancery.  On October 2nd, others will be picketing the Dominican convent in Racine.

See if your lawyers will help you then, Excellency.

The Dots, They Connect, at "Collusion"

Gee.  How could it happen that all these names just happen to be pals with the Clintons?

And that the Clintons never went to prison..........

Surely, just co-incidence, eh?

Be sure to read ALL THE WAY to the end, for a happy marriage note.

Picket the Chanceries September 15!!!

Badger Catholic thinks Catholics should picket the chanceries on September 15th.

You know why, of course.

That's the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.

On that date, the sequence "Stabat Mater" is recited (or sung, if the Mass is sung).

At the Cross her station keeping,
stood the mournful Mother weeping,
close to her Son to the last.

Through her heart, His sorrow sharing,
all His bitter anguish bearing,
now at length the sword has passed.

O how sad and sore distressed
was that Mother, highly blest,
of the sole-begotten One.

Christ above in torment hangs,
she beneath beholds the pangs
of her dying glorious Son.

Is there one who would not weep,
whelmed in miseries so deep,
Christ's dear Mother to behold?

Can the human heart refrain
from partaking in her pain,
in that Mother's pain untold?

For the sins of His own nation,
She saw Jesus wracked with torment,
All with scourges rent:

She beheld her tender Child,
Saw Him hang in desolation,
Till His spirit forth He sent.

O thou Mother! fount of love!
Touch my spirit from above,
make my heart with thine accord:

Make me feel as thou hast felt;
make my soul to glow and melt
with the love of Christ my Lord.

Holy Mother! pierce me through,
in my heart each wound renew
of my Savior crucified:

Let me share with thee His pain,
who for all my sins was slain,
who for me in torments died.

Let me mingle tears with thee,
mourning Him who mourned for me,
all the days that I may live:

By the Cross with thee to stay,
there with thee to weep and pray,
is all I ask of thee to give.

Virgin of all virgins blest!,
Listen to my fond request:
let me share thy grief divine;

Let me, to my latest breath,
in my body bear the death
of that dying Son of thine.

Wounded with His every wound,
steep my soul till it hath swooned,
in His very Blood away;

Be to me, O Virgin, nigh,
lest in flames I burn and die,
in His awful Judgment Day.

Christ, when Thou shalt call me hence,
be Thy Mother my defense,
be Thy Cross my victory;

While my body here decays,
may my soul Thy goodness praise,
Safe in Paradise with Thee.

– Translation by Edward Caswall, Lyra Catholica (1849)

If you want to hear a wonderful realization of that text, listen to Szymanowski's.  It's absolutely loaded with "word-painting"--wherein the music illuminates, or illustrates, the text.  If you don't hear that, you have a heart of stone.  Victims of the homosexual priest-predators will recognize their agony in this piece, too.

SEPTEMBER 15.
PICKET THE CHANCERIES

Queer Clergy Gets VERY Nervous

Gee.  It's almost as though they're worried about something.....

...Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute, therefore urged a “complete and thorough removal of all homosexual clergymen from the Church,” according to The Associated Press.
“It is going to be difficult and will likely result in a very serious priest shortage. But it’s definitely worth the effort,” he added.

Cupich, archbishop of Chicago, said he “would be very careful” about arguing homosexuality among the clergy was the root cause of abuse.

“I really believe that the issue here is more about a culture of clericalism in which some who are ordained feel they are privileged and therefore protected so that they can do what they want,” he told America, a Jesuit magazine.

Rev. James Martin, an outspoken Jesuit priest in New York and editor-at-large of America, echoed Cupich’s concern, saying, “The idea of a purge of gay priests is both ridiculous and dangerous,” highlighting the fact that there is a substantial number of gay individuals within the priesthood....

Cupich is half-right:  there IS a problem with clericalism.  But for him to whistle past the homosexual graveyard (so to speak) is....ahhh......not very clever at all.  In fact, it's disgusting.

Martin, the country's leading homosexualist, would prefer that everybody just keep their jobs and not to worry!!!  He'll appear on Colbert's show and...ooooooh!!!.......Glam!  Fabulous!!

There's room for a serious discussion of 'what to do with homosexual priests who ARE chaste,' of course.  Haven't seen any interest from our Courageous Bishops in that convo, though.  Have you??

So, If YOU Know Our Iran Posture.....

If YOU knew the US'  Iran posture over the next 24 months, but I did not.....

And if we were running competing companies, but each having a direct or indirect interest in Iran.....

And YOU had a Board member or "consultant" with a TS clearance....

But I did not......

Which of us has a business advantage which is paid for by the US taxpayer?

Hmmmmmm?????

(Oh, yes, whine and wail for those Poor, Underpaid, Civil "Servants.")

The Pp. FrancisDance

All of us have noticed that Pp. Francis is clarity-averse, especially in serious matters like sacrilegious reception of Communion, or the death penalty.

Apparently the same FrancisDance is applied to homosexual clergy and Bishops.  HH issued a 2,000 word statement about the grave homosexual scandals in the Americas (ALL of them), but ....

...while a number of prelates, priests, and laypeople have recently begun insisting on the need for straightforward and honest recognition of the extensive “homosexual subculture” that currently exists among bishops and clergy and that lies at the root of the abuse crisis, Pope Francis completely sidesteps the question of homosexuality in the clergy....

And

...in his 2,000-word letter, the pope fails to mention the word “bishop” even once, despite the fact that recent revelations suggest complicity on the part of an indeterminate number of prelates who allowed such abuse to continue in their dioceses....

Yah, well, the term "jesuitical" is there for a reason, ya'know.

Real Papal Wisdom

What a wonderful quote here.

...Pope Pius X was approached by some cardinal advisers to reconsider his condemnation of the Modernist heresy. Shouldn’t he adopt a more conciliatory tone? Wouldn’t the Church be better served by fruitful dialogue? The humble yet Herculean pope famously retorted: “You want them to be treated with oil, soap and caresses. But they should be beaten with fists. In a duel, you don’t count or measure the blows, you strike as you can.”...

That should be placed on Abp. Listecki's desk, so he'll know how to deal with Fr. Massingale.

The Homo Network

Dreher found Randy Engel's book on the homo network in the Catholic church.  Engel's book is very good, highly detailed, and well-researched--but it is not comprehensive.

Nevertheless, we have a picture of the 'genealogy' of Queer Church.

Start with Cd. Spellman of New York. Yup.  That guy.

Then there's Cardinal Wright...

...who moved on to become Bishop of Pittsburgh in 1959, and then migrated to Rome in 1969 to become a cardinal and the highest-ranking American in the Roman Curia. He participated in the conclave that elected Pope John Paul II, but because he was ill and confined to a wheelchair, his personal secretary, Monsignor Donald Wuerl, was allowed to accompany him into the conclave....

Gee.  Bp. Wuerl!  Hmmmmm.

Oh, it gets worse.

...Donald Wuerl became private secretary to Bishop Wright not long after his 1966 ordination. He moved into Wright’s residence in Pittsburgh, and of course followed him to Rome, after Wright was named Prefect of the Congregation for the Clergy — that is, head of the Vatican’s apparatus for overseeing priests worldwide....

How very maaahhhvelous, dahling.

Say What, RoJo?

Ron Johnson has--apparently--swallowed the Kool-Ade.

On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said while he supported President Donald Trump revoking former CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance, he did not want it to become “routine.”

Johnson said, “I don’t want to see this become routine. I don’t want to see this become politicized.”...

First off, there is no "property right" to a security clearance.  Secondly, what does "politics" have to do with this?

RoJo went on to confuse the matter even more:

...“The best way of handling this is if you don’t have confidence in former CIA officials or government officials that you’re not going to be consulting with, just don’t gain them access. You gain access when you have a need to know. If you’re not going to be consulted, you don’t have a need to know....

Huh?  RoJo is apparently assuming that 'granting access' is not the same as having a clearance--that is, if one doesn't have "access", the TS clearance is not a problem.  And he's also assuming that there is honor in Gummint employees.  That hasn't been the case since Benedict Arnold, Ron.

An Afternoon in West Bend

As promised, Fr. Reesman held a Holy Hour of reparation today at St Francis Cabrini parish in West Bend.  About 200 souls attended, including at least 3 other priests.  West Bend is a bit remote from the Big City, so it was a very pleasant to see that many people.

As one would expect, Fr. Reesman offered a very good meditation on the current crisis, making it clear that Bishops and priests bore the primary responsibility for the homosexual infestation and its consequences.

Surprisingly, the Archbishop was not in attendance.  Maybe he forgot.

Tony "Promises" Evers

Apparently Tony Evers has been taking economics lessons from Ms. Occasional Cortex.

A billion.five in additional school spend!!  And he says that will cut the prop-tax by about 10%.

Of course, repealing Act 10..........well.......that's .........ahhh..........expensive.........

Things Changed in 50 Years.....

Not quite the same as when we were in school, eh??

Where else?  AOSHQ.AOSHQ

H.E. Morlino Leads Wisconsin Bishops

H. E. Morlino does not mewl, whimper, or cavil over the homosexual problem.  Not at all.

That's in distinct contrast to ...........ahh.........some OTHER Bishops in this State.

...It is time to admit that there is a homosexual subculture within the hierarchy of the Catholic Church that is wreaking great devastation in the vineyard of the Lord. The Church’s teaching is clear that the homosexual inclination is not in itself sinful, but it is intrinsically disordered in a way that renders any man stably afflicted by it unfit to be a priest. And the decision to act upon this disordered inclination is a sin so grave that it cries out to heaven for vengeance, especially when it involves preying upon the young or the vulnerable. Such wickedness should be hated with a perfect hatred. Christian charity itself demands that we should hate wickedness just as we love goodness. But while hating the sin, we must never hate the sinner, who is called to conversion, penance, and renewed communion with Christ and His Church, through His inexhaustible mercy....

Just so that you don't miss the point:

...Again, right now there is a lot of justified anger and passion coming from many holy and faithful lay people and clerics across the country, calling for real reform and “house cleaning” of this type of depravity. I stand with them. I don’t know yet how this will play out nationally or internationally. But I do know this, and I make this my last point and last promise, for the Diocese of Madison: “As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”...

By the way, H.E. Morlino also strongly condemned the 'go along/get along' attitude on sexual sins which has prevailed over the last 60 years or so; the one which saw E-Z divorce in the Green Bay diocese and the revolution over Humanae Vitae in the US church as a whole.  Maybe that 'smaller Church' is overdue.

Have you read Morlino's letter?

Then read this missive from a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserves.  Which one would YOU want leading you in a battle, hmmmmmm?

The Church's Homosexual Culture

Cardinal Burke is right.

Commenting on the sexual abuse problems in the Catholic Church, as evident in the recent cases of Cardinal Theodore McCarrick and the Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report on abuse, Cardinal Raymond Burke, an American, said it is obvious there is a poisonous "homosexual culture" among some priests and bishops and that there "needs to be an open recognition that we have a very grave problem of a homosexual culture in the Church."...

That culture crawls into every decision made by Church authorities.  It's not only the Big Scandals of actively practicing homosexual Cardinals, Bishops, and priests, or Bishop/Priest/Cardinal homosexual rapists who see to it that the 'right boys' get the right appointments and positions such as wealthy parishes, or tenured professorial slots, or high-visibility sees such as D.C., Chicago, L.A., (etc.)--or even Vatican administrative jobs from which all sorts of gate-keeping and protection maneuvers can be executed.  That's bad enough.

It's the little scandals, too, such as allowing homosexualists like James Martin and Brian Massingale to contradict or undermine Catholic doctrine on the matter, confusing tens of thousands of Catholics--and their young male children.  Those "little scandals" occur because Bishops--whether homosexuals or not--allow them to occur, knowing that The Boys' Clubs will make a lot of trouble for them, ranging from PoofterPoutingParades through 'outing', or even worse.

Consider, for example, Fr. Al Kunz.  That was a message.  It got attention.

To Zinke, the Feds Never Own Enough Land

What is this disease whereby Federal employees think the FedGov should own every square foot of the US?  (Bonus:  why this patch of desert was 'sold' to a Malaysian by Hillary and Billy-boy.)

...President Donald Trump announced plans in December to roll-back the boundaries of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (GSENM) in Utah. The new boundaries were made official Feb. 2 and the Department of the Interior has been crafting plans for managing the land inside and out of the redrawn designation.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) released draft management plans for two smaller national monuments created within the old borders of GSENM Wednesday. Within one of the draft plans posted for public comment, 2.5 square miles of federal land would be offered for sale to private interests....

...Zinke has since scrapped the proposed sale and will keep the roughly 900,000 acres cut out of the original GSENM under federal control,...

Because, after all, Federal control is the very best control, eh?

Historical note:  Grand Staircase-Escalante is one of the Clinton paybacks to the Malaysian oligarch Riady.  Bill and Hillary had taken hundreds of millions in "donations" from him over the years, and he wanted something in return.  He got coal.  GS-E was declared off-limits to coal mining by Clinton, and the value of Riady & Co.' s coal mines jumped.  Read the linked story--Cashill tells it very well.

Sex Assaults!! Priests.......Oh, Wait. Teachers!!

Yes, the homosexual predator Catholic priests are a problem.

But the Chicago Public Schools are a damn close second.

[Tribune]  ... reporters Gary Marx, David Jackson, Jennifer Smith Richards and Juan Perez Jr. had pieced together — through police reports, court files, state records and interviews — an alarming revelation. Police investigated 523 reports that children were sexually assaulted or abused inside city public schools from 2008 to 2017, or an average of one report each week....

Given that the kiddies are only in the buildings for 9 months/year, that average is actually higher.

A Good Thing!

This is a very good thing, from a very solid priest of this Archdiocese.

This Sunday, August 19, Rev. Nathan Reesman will lead a Holy Hour from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, 1025 S. Seventh Avenue, West Bend, to pray for the purification of the Church’s clergy and ministers, and to pray in reparation for the sins against chastity and the abuse of power that have been committed against our people. Please join us in prayer.

Yup.

"Wilding" in Chicago's Water Tower Place

Another day, another shoot-em-up in Chicago.  This is the fourth such incident in 2018 alone.

But since this one was in Water Tower Place, a VERY tony upscale shopping area, you won't hear much about it--except at Second City Cop or American Thinker.

Just as a reminder:  your Wisconsin concealed-carry license doesn't mean s^%t in Chicago.  They prefer unarmed victims down there.

Disastrous Catholic Compromises, 1968 and 2005

Well, now, here's a theory which has been proven true.

...Bishop Barron also cautioned against what he called an “ideological” response. According to the bishop, those who raise concerns about Humanae Vitae, priestly celibacy, or “rampant homosexuality in the Church” may be riding a “hobby horse” and causing a “distraction”.

No one cares for the endless Catholic culture wars, but we should be wary of attempts to shut down frank discussion of how we got here. Bishop Barron’s list of taboo topics suggests that he – like most bishops – is keen to preserve the settlement of 1968.

In that year, Pope Paul VI famously reaffirmed Catholic teaching on birth control in Humanae Vitae, but then declined to discipline the many bishops and priests who rejected that teaching. The result was an uneasy truce: the teaching was formally upheld, but obedience to it was not demanded.
The same dynamic played out in 2005, when the Vatican decided that men with “deep-seated homosexual tendencies” should be barred from the priesthood....

Indeed.   Archbishop Cousins "silenced" discussion of artificial birth control from the pulpit in the mid-1960's; I was present when a pastor made the mistake of bringing it up in a sermon and a parishioner/OB-GYN complained.  The pastor was smacked down, hard.

And of course, the Vatican's prohibition on homosexual seminarians (which actually is a re-statement of a 1961 directive*) has been ignored, not only in Milwaukee, but in lots of other places.

(It is NOT a coincidence that both "birth control" and homosexuality directives are ignored; theologically and philosophically they are tightly connected....but that's another conversation.)

The problem with homosexual priests is not limited to predatory abuser/rapists.  In Milwaukee, we have a  priest, Fr. Massingale, (currently in New York City, crapping all over Vince Lombardi's alma mater) who in effect campaigned for homosexual "marriage."   He's going to show up in the Archdiocese again, 'leading a retreat' for homosexual priests, which 'retreat' is sponsored by an extremist homosexualist anti-Catholic outfit called "New Ways Ministry."  The "Association of US Catholic Priests", of which Massingale is a member, is constantly agitating for ordination of more homosexuals

The Archbishop of Milwaukee mewled that he 'has no power' to prevent this.  There's a man without a chest!!  Ignore all that "commissioned officer in the US Army" stuff.  He's just a paper-pushing rear-echelon........ahhh........well.........

Most Catholics would not mind if their priest were homosexual, so long as the priest kept it in his pants at ALL times, preached solid Catholic doctrine, and did not flounce about.  Unfortunately, that's not the way things have worked out.  And with a Pope who seems to think Catholic doctrine is a sometimes thing, well, this will be a wild ride, eh?

*Here's the quote from 1961:  "Advantage to religious vows and ordination should be barred to those who are afflicted with evil tendencies to homosexuality or pederasty, since for them the common life and the priestly ministry would constitute serious dangers."  That's clear, no?  Well, not enough for Abp. Cousins or Abp. Weakland.

Francisco Franco Didn't Finish the Job

Bring back the Generalissimo!!

...Spain’s National Police Corps said in a statement that two men have been arrested on suspicion of assault and perpetrating offences against fundamental rights (‘hate crime’) after attacking the students at a bar in Murcia.

The incident took place in the early hours of the morning a few days ago when a group of students wearing San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) shirts were approached by individuals who took issue with their attire....

...After taking statements from the witnesses and hearing descriptions of their assailants, detectives were able to identify the two men, who were aged 19 and 28 and already known to police from their background and membership of “ultra-left groups”, reports regional newspaper La Verdad....

The Spanish University separated itself from places like Marquette U, too:

...In a statement announcing the institution would be putting its full support behind the students who were attacked....(etc.)

Franco led Spain's attack on the Communists which were infesting the country.  A number of US leftists (and useful idiot fellow-travelers) went to Spain to fight against Franco.  Fortunately, Franco's forces prevailed--but apparently didn't mop up all the vermin.

Daddies: Never, EVER, Do This!

Never, ever, do this, daddies.

An Arizona father is accused of beating a man to death for attempting to enter his daughter’s bathroom stall.

Nope.  Never.

Lofton's a Pretty Good Announcer

James Lofton worked 'color' for the Packer game tonight.  Did a very nice job.  Not quite as good as Tony Romo, but far, far, better than that Fox idiot Buck.

The Travails of the ChiComs

Surber brings up a matter which we'd known about several days ago.

...To find the news, I read the South China Morning Post, which is worried spitless that the Red Chinese economy will tank like its stock market has....

(Its stocks overall have declined in value by 40% in the last three years. Our stocks are up 33% since we elected Trump. In the eight years from Obama's election to Trump's, the Dow rose by 33%.)
The newspaper is running a series of columns by panicked investors and experts.

Aidan Yao is senior emerging Asia economist at AXA Investment Managers.
Yao wrote, "China needs to put its house in order as the trade war goes from bad to worse."...

Xu Yimiao is an independent China-based researcher....

Xu wrote, ... "Beijing’s strategy of a tit-for-tat retaliation over tariffs has clearly failed. In fact, this strategy escalated the conflict. The direct retaliation after the US announced the first batch of 25 per cent tariffs on US$50 billion in Chinese goods (with the increase from US$34 billion just finalised and coming into effect on August 23) brought few benefits for China. If anything, it gave the US an excuse to plan for a new batch of tariffs covering US$200 billion in Chinese goods. To be fair, it is possible that the US would have escalated the conflict even if China had not retaliated, but whatever the case may be, China’s strategy did not work,".
..

There are reports of unrest in that country, and not just from the Uighurs (Moslems) in the far western region.  Party officials are questioning Jinping's moves and Chinese continue to buy land and buildings in the West--so much so that New Zealand has made such purchases illegal (!)

Obozo's SecState Clinton owed a great deal to the ChiComs and she did what she could for them, by focusing the US on the Russkie Menace.

Trump does not owe the Chinese anything.  Amazing what just one election can do, eh?

Pooper-Super Gets $100K

Fuggedaboutit, Al.  It's New Jersey.

Thomas W. Tramaglini, the former Kenilworth Public Schools superintendent, is set to earn $100,000 before he resigns this September. Tramaglini was suspended from his position in May after it was discovered that he was taking daily defecation breaks on the Holmdel High School outdoor track.

The Board of Ed there should have told the Pooper-Super to take a hike, no pay, no bennies, no pension.

And when he objected, they should have responded "So sue us, jackwad!"

And when they lose the suit (if they do) they should tell the judge to screw himself and STILL refuse to pay.

Pissy-Puss Clapper Kvetching

Kvetcher Clapper gets all pissy-pussed about "rights."

...former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper reacted to the revocation of former CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance and the prospect of the White House revoking other security clearances by saying the bigger issue is an infringement on First Amendment rights....

Like most normal Americans, I never thought that a security clearance was a permanent grant, or was some sort of "right."  It's a friggin' privilege, granted on a "needs" basis, and should be revoked the very minute the "need" goes away--like when one leaves the office.

Screw Clapper and his Commie pal Brennan.

Pull ALL the clearances from ALL the people not actively serving the US.

ALL of them.

Again, the EPA's Inane Resistance!

Most Conservatives agree that the EPA should be wiped out.  Some might agree that it could be re-constituted, minimally, in the next decade--after all, actual Conservatives are not wastrels nor plunderers of the Earth.

As usual, EPA's Resist-and-Oppose game is causing expense for consumers AND taxpayers.  This time, it is a truly inane argument.

The Trump administration will likely have a tougher time defending in court its plan to relax fuel efficiency standards for cars because of new evidence showing that federal agencies were internally divided over whether weaker rules would save lives.

“It strengthens legal challengers’ arguments that this was a political, and not a technical, decision,” Michael Gerard, an environmental law professor at Columbia University, told the Washington Examiner

Career experts at the the Environmental Protection Agency disagreed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, or NHTSA, on the number of deaths that would be avoided by rolling back stringent fuel-efficiency and emission targets set by the Obama administration...

This is inane.  EPA says that there will be seventeen (17) more "auto-related" deaths under the new proposal.......because carbon monoxide!

Seventeen.

Don't be fooled here.  The auto industry is perfectly fine with Obozo standards, which will be forced onto you (at a great cost) by the State of California's ridiculous standards.  More money for the industry is fine with the industry.

Until nobody buys cars.  That's what's happening now, by the way.  Trucks are selling like hotcakes, but US-labeled sedans are rusting away on dealer lots.  Wait a few months and some manufacturers will be sending you a new car with your $25.00 auto-club membership.....

The Sad End of Cruise-Captain Kristol

That paunchy second-generation ass-licker--who also sells cruise cabins--has a very, very, slimy association that he ought to come clean about.

...Something is not adding up here; in fact, it stinks.

We are expected to believe that Bill Kristol’s son-in-law paid Fusion throughout the 2016 presidential campaign cycle but Simpson doesn’t pitch one dossier-related story to either one? Kristol just comes up with the very same flimsy talking points that Simpson and Steele are peddling—at the exact same time—and it’s pure coincidence? Kristol just happens to call for an investigation one week before the FBI takes the outrageous and unprecedented step of probing private citizens working on an opposing presidential campaign? Kristol and Robby Mook just strangely regurgitate the identical Trump-Russia plotline—on the same morning?

Since the election, Kristol and the Standard have ignored major developments in Spygate while shamefully working with Democratic operatives to smear lawmakers such as Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, who are trying to get to the bottom of the scandal. Kristol has been in the forefront of keeping Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation working in perpetuity.

And the Standard has yet to report on Strzok getting fired. (Nor has Kristol tweeted about Strzok.)...

Cap'n Billy is coming to his end.  Next year we'll see him rolling a couple of steelies around in his hand while grabbing passers-by asking about his missing strawberries.

"Bail Reform" a Horrible Joke

You've all read about the Mohammedans in New Mexico who were training children how to use AR-15's to commit mass murders in schools.  And how a 3-year-old kid had been killed there during some sort of Mohammedan religious ritual.

And how the judge did not require bail NOR put them in the slammer pending trial.

Yah, well, that's called "Bail Reform."  Sounds a lot like another George Soros plot to me.

"These people have been charged. They have not been convicted," said Leo Romero, a professor emeritus at the University of New Mexico Law School and the chairman of a committee that made recommendations on reforming cash bail in the state, which were adopted by the state Supreme Court in 2017.

"So you're balancing individual rights versus safety of the community, and the judge is weighing that when she is determining the evidence presented by the prosecutor," he said.

In 2014, the state Supreme Court, in New Mexico vs. Walter Ernest Brown, deemed that even if someone is charged with a serious offense, a judge has to make an individual determination on whether to detain the defendant before trial.

"Just because someone is charged with first-degree murder or first-degree sexual assault, that by itself is insufficient," Romero said. "The court's got to consider other evidence of whether the person might be a danger or a flight risk, such as the nature and circumstances, which is different than the charge itself."

First mistake:  letting a LawProf write the rules.  Second mistake:  taking stupid rules seriously.

Notes on the Primary

Leah wins in a landslide.

A substitute radio-host  commented on Monday?  (Friday?)  that Vukmir had not purchased any radio ad slots for about three weeks.  Naturally, being a RadioGuy, he opined that this was a grave error on her part.

Evidently the internal polls told Leah & Co. that advertising would be a waste of resources.  Clearly, that was the case!

Minor, minor, note:  a friendly young man hit my doorbell yesterday, encouraging me to go vote for Nicholson.

Even more minor note:  "Red" Fred Kessler lost his primary in Milwaukee yesterday.  I'm tempted to make a comparison to the Occasional-Cortex race in NYC.

Of interest going forward:  The (D) race garnered 550K voters; the Pubbies only 450K.  While the D numbers probably reflect the overabundance of flavor-choices in the gubernatorial primary,  it's also possible that the Ds are actually motivated.  Walker is insisting that they are coming after him tooth and nail.  But I can't imagine that either Evers or Precious Tammy motivates black turnout, without which D hopes are........ahhh........challenged.

Poor Little Peter Strzok. Cry With Him!!

Po' Li'l Peter (and little dick, too) got fired.

It was all political and freedom of speech, and like that, boo hoo boo hoo.

That ends the career of the prototypical FBI management-track guy.

Regardless, he won't be shopping at smelly old Wally World any time soon.

How's Your Labor Force Aging??

Yes, that's exactly what I meant:  How is your labor force aging?

If it's "simultaneously," you are in trouble.

A retired friend of mine got a call from an ex-employer who asked him to come back as a 'part-time consultant' to train their labor force on machinery startup, operation, and repairs.  The Company depends on that machinery and the machinery is both complex and dangerous--so it's not like driving a car.  They kept "upping the ante" dollar-wise--and he kept refusing.  He ain't going back.

The reason for that company's desperation is simple: nearly all their experienced labor retired in the last few years.  They had not been too smart about "planning the labor force", had gone defensive on hiring (or "cheap", if you please) and as a result, had no journeymen to promote.  All they have is apprentices.

That's a problem:  they must now limit their sales because they (literally) cannot deliver what was 100% of their capacity 5 years ago; they're down to the mid-70's%.

For the foreseeable future, the US economy will be growing and the available labor pool is almost non-existent.  It will be far worse in SE Wisconsin about three years from now when Foxconn opens up, by the way.

If you think that going cheap in worker recruitment is the smart play, your business will be extinct in about 10 years or less.  Change the attitude of your HR/ER people, now.
