 That's the theory of Don Surber, anyway:  Obama hates Trump, has done so for at least 20 years, and is determined to finish off the Trump Era in '28.

Here's an outstanding insight from his column:

Obama rightly sees the problem as American optimism. And because he knows we won’t readily trade the American dream in for the nightmare of Sovietism, Obama is a full believer in incrementalism, which fully distilled is really hoping to impose rules on generations that you don’t have to live under....

The MSM is totally complicit in moving Obama's "fundamental change" agenda.  That is why the MSM has done its damndest to quench that American optimism over the last 24 months.  And they have lied like Hell in doing it.

Real wage increases are greater than inflation numbers.  Americans are actually saving more money than ever before, not spending all they have on "unaffordable" whatevers.  The price of housing is going down.  The price of ethical drugs is going down.  More Americans are working at jobs they want--thus less unemployment claims are being filed.  Manufacturing jobs are up, and non-residential construction is way, way, way, up.

NONE of that is reported in the MSM.  Not.  One.  Damn.  Part. 

You cannot hate the MSM enough. 

The (Terrible) Streets of Old Milwaukee

 This is only one of the hundreds of stories.

 A road depression at the intersection of National Avenue and Layton Boulevard on Milwaukee's near south side has damaged multiple vehicles, leaving at least one family facing costly repairs....

Take a drive on Sherman Blvd, southbound from Hampton.  But don't do it in a large truck, or anything with a long wheelbase.  You'll get seasick.  No potholes, but the El Cheapo Concrete Paving Co. job will do a number on you.  Take 35th St. north from I-94 to--say--North Ave.  Still have tires on your car?  They must be made of iron.

Sometimes the Low Bid or the DEI contractor is the worst possible choice.  That's a lesson that nobody in City Hall wants to learn. 

CDC Ignored Vaxx Complaints--and Now.....

Coffee & Covid mentions Jeffrey Tucker's work on the CDC.  In this instance, the CDC ignored complaints about The Vaxx (3,300++ of them) and buried the actual complaints with a specially-designed form made to keep us ignorant.

That's bad enough.

But news today is that CDC has done a 180 and now "recommends" The Vaxx for infants and children.

Apparently there were not enough deaths and mutilations the first time.

Trump likes cheap fuel.

Big Green hates it--and BigBank, with London, Ottawa, and the EuroGreens--are in their corner.

So naturally, the Hate Targets of the day are Trump peeps who have interests in Lukoil, the Russia-based petroleum conglomerate (think ExxonMobil, or the old Standard Oil, except in Russia.)  Also indirectly targeted?  Petroleum producers, largely in the Middle East.

So happens that YOU are behind that target; as the guns fire, you will be hit.

The Democrat Party is fully on board with Singer's implicit license-to-kill 'useless eaters.'  That's why they are pushing "Assisted Suicide," having established BabyKilling before this.

Good to know that Pp. Leo flat-out told Anthropic's Chief Yutz that no way in Hell would the Church agree that AI has "consciousness."  Ontologically, it does not--but that doesn't stop these people from proclaiming it to be so.

A few days ago, Fr. Ripperger's brief lecture on "sophistry" was made available.  It's worth a listen, especially if you do not know what "sophistry" is.

We sent the link to a fellow blogger who happens to be pretty damn good with such figures as Plato and Aristotle; he critiqued Fr. Ripperger's lecture and offered various quotes from those two Greeks while doing so.

One of his comments on Aristotle's thought was striking, as it directly condemns Democrat Party campaign rhetoric which they've used since FDR:

Fixing Flock? Hawley's Bill

This appears to be a good start.  But it may be inadequate, as Flock has a track record of doing whatever the Hell it wants to do....

The Missouri Republican on Wednesday rolled out the Stop Flock Abuse Act, which would bar local governments from selling the data, require written approval and a paper trail for every search, and force agencies to delete drivers’ information after 10 days unless it’s tied to an active criminal case....

 Ban selling or sharing vehicle location data with private, non-government third parties
Require written approval before any search, with every search logged
Require audit logs showing who searched, why, who approved it and what came back, with supervisors reviewing those logs regularly
Require the data to be encrypted and kept inside the United States
Require driver data to be permanently deleted after 10 days, with narrow exceptions for active criminal investigations
Bar license plate reader technology from foreign adversaries
Prohibit facial recognition in license plate reader networks...

Hawley's bill includes supervisory written approval before running a search, however, it does NOT include a warrant requirement for searches.  That's a weakness.

And it does not include penalties for abuse such as what we've seen by the FBI and such cretins as Jack Smith and the US Department of Justice's wholly partisan activities.

Penalties should be in place, and they should be severe. 

US Steel To Be Made in Iowa

Yes, that's a pun-headline.  The US will be making steel at a plant in Iowa, using taconite from Minnesota's Iron Range.  This happens despite the "stop-and-starve' efforts of Obama and Biden.

Crowley Moves To Word-Salad Campaigning

Michael Horowitz is not an Inspector General.  He is the corruption manager for the U.S. government!...

Being "Corruption Manager" for the entire USG is exhausting; the guy must be working 24X7.  So he should get a long rest.  At Leavenworth.

The REAL GM Dipsticks

 It's actually hard to believe that GM did this.

 General Motors is removing one of the most basic tools under the hood of its new trucks: The oil dipstick. No pulling it out. No wiping it clean. No physically checking your oil yourself. Instead, GM says newer engine hardware made it difficult to package a traditional dipstick, so engineers replaced it with an electronic oil-level sensor that lets drivers check their oil from inside the cab. But it was the way they explained it that really set people off. “We were able to delete the dipstick…” Delete the dipstick. Replace it with electronics.

Trump's Diesel Disaster

We've seen all sorts of *stuff* about the diesel price problem.  Two things stand out:  1)  the US actually refines MORE diesel than it uses.  And 2)  Europe is desperate for diesel.

... At the heart of the problem is the fact that Europe won’t purchase cheap Russian diesel as they did before the start of the war in Ukraine. Instead, Europe now relies on the Middle East and the US for it’s supply. According to recent figures, the Middle East produces roughly 40% of Europe’s diesel imports while the U.S. now accounts for 50%. But as a result of the war in Iran, however, Middle Eastern infrastructure has been damaged, and energy flow through the Strait of Hormuz has slowed considerably. Without cheap Russian energy as an option and with limited Middle Eastern output, Europe has placed immense demand on U.S. diesel inventories. That, in turn, has driven up domestic diesel prices in the United States. And since Trump doesn’t have the diplomatic skills to immediately end the hostilities in the Middle East, supply pressure will continue to inflate the diesel market, at least in the near term....

The proposal that Trump should ban export of diesel becomes very interesting in light of the above, but you can bet your net worth that Big Oil is throwing a lot of........ahh..........incentives at Trump & Co. about such a ban.

There are plenty of vacant slots in--say--Wyoming, or Alaska, and plenty of open slots for transcriptionists, office-boys, and maintenance workers.

Who Likes the Wars? The Green Bunch!

 For all his recent vagaries, Carlson still has a grip on the Big Picture.

In this video, he notes that Middle Eastern and Russian refineries have been targeted and either destroyed or crippled--and that rebuilding them is a long-term project.

Very long-term, and rather expensive, too.

Then he notes that the Green Crowd has been dead silent about the wars and all the CO2 releases derived from those wars, not to mention the Russia-to-Europe gas-pipeline demolition which Biden did.  (Oh, wait!!!  You're told that it was Ukraine that pulled that off??  So sorry, my mistake.)

He notes the curious price of diesel, gasoline, and other petro-derived products such as fertilizer, those prices seemingly having nothing to do with the quoted price/bbl of petroleum.  (See the price of gasoline vs. the quoted per-bbl price during Biden's regime and compare those numbers with today's.)

Then suggests that all of this ties together, using Bill Gates' unfortunate spilling of the (real) plot: there will be less humans, and the humans that remain will be creating far less CO2--meaning even less humans.

That "less humans" thing has been the Number One Goal of the Green bunch and the Malthusian Enthusiasts, and the Club of Rome, for decades.

Never thought of that, didja? 

It would not surprise us in the least to learn that provoking Putin was part of the plan, and as Tucker notes, who the Hell in this world really cares about 2 oblasts, anyway?  (A good question, that!)

Iranian nukes?  Very responsible people--such as Tulsi Gabbard--simply do not believe that Iran was going to make nuclear bombs.  Also recall that Trump told us that the Iranian nuke program--whatever its progress--was OBLITERATED.  So why did the US have to "OBLITERATE IT" again?  And now that it's gone, why the continuing aggression of the US?

You are right:  Tucker did not explain the Houthis, nor is there a convenient explanation for all the "Who's on First?" dancing going on in the Middle East.

But his theory has the merit of causing one to pause, ain'a?  

"Judge" Sparkle Gets Doused

Political Violence Coming Here?

The columnist here is a retired FEEB who has a serious case of TDS.  But the surveys he presents are....ahh.....interesting.......in that Chinese Curse sort of way.  The good news?  Violence isn't in the cards soon.  (But don't let your ammo supplies run down like the Pentagon's!)

...I listened to Pape discussing his idea with Mario Nawfal yesterday. The basic idea—based, he says, on five years of research—is that approval for political violence among Americans of all political stripes has soared in the last few years. His surveys, he says, show that no less than 30% of Americans of both Left and Right approve of political violence. Not fringe types, but ordinary seeming Americans.  ...

But the stats he cites in the column do not reflect "all" stripes.  Instead, he cites from:

... a survey that was conducted by The Center for Strategic Politics survey on Sept. 3 and Sept. 8-10 among 683 Democratic voters nationwide.....

K.  So Lefties.  You know them:  the Peace and Love Bunch.

 ...Nearly six in 10 Democrats said they would react positively if military leaders removed President Donald Trump from power, while 55% said the same about Trump dying in his sleep.

Forty-three percent said they would feel “very positive” about the military scenario, while 16% said they would feel “somewhat positive,” bringing the total positive response to 59%. Twenty-eight percent said they would feel negatively, and 13% said they would feel neither positively nor negatively. ...

IOW, 'have someone else do the dirty work--like the Generals, or God.  But hey!  We're fine with Trump being dead!' 

Now look at the cross-tabs tables in the column.  What's noticeable?

Maybe they would pound Trump-ists with their canes?  Signs?  Walkers?? 

Violence is not the answer, of course--and based on what he presented, it won't be. 

MKE Police, Stupid "Questions," and Black Fatigue

This sort of crap is what leads to "Black Fatigue."

 Milwaukee police released body camera footage Wednesday from the deadly shooting of 23-year-old Printis Smith.

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. near 37th Street and Meinecke Avenue following a car chase that ended about a block north in an alley near 38th and Wright streets on Tuesday, Sept. 8....

Occupants of the car had fired a few rounds off in Glendale; the Milwaukee police saw the car and gave chase.  Eventually the car stopped and an officer began a foot-chase (that's the video.)

So what's the Stupid Question of the Month?

... Smith's family doesn't dispute that he was armed, but say that he never shot at the officer....

Implicit:  Well, if the goblin didn't SHOOT at the cop, why did the cop shoot at HIM?

Yes, that's a stupid question; the goblin POINTED A GUN at the cop and the cop did exactly what YOU would do if someone pointed a gun at you from 6 inches away.

On another channel, the anchor went with another stupid question, which was "Why didn't the cop yell 'Drop your weapon!!!' (like they do on all the TeeVee shows)?" 

He had to be reminded that the video was NOT a TeeVee show, for crying out loud.  This anchor is a full-grown man.........we think........ 

The Stupid Questions were given to the reporters/anchors by a rabble-rousing black lawyer who miraculously turns up following every police shooting--if the person who was shot is black.  Not if they were white (rare, indeed), nor Hispanic.  Only the black ones.

Now you know why the term is "Black Fatigue."

Cute.  What they did NOT tell you?  The "rate" only measures taxes taken vs. the assessed value of the home. The average home assessment has grown from $180K to $220K since 2018.  So while the Mayor wants you to think you're paying less, you're paying more.  The 2026 assessment is up 7.2% over the 2025, so Corvair's "less-than-inflation" B.S. is just that. 

But the Extreeeeeeeme Left knows that repeating lies often enough makes them seem like truth.   

And they know that the camp-follower media will not present any counter-arguments from responsible politicians.

Trump mentioned the F.U.D. of climate.  First it was cooling:  50 years to mass death.  Then--when cooling stopped--it was warming:  50 years to mass death.  Warming stopped, so now it's "climate change":  50 years to mass death.

There was Covid19:  only 10 years to mass death unless everyone took Teh Vaxx.

There is AI:  only a couple years to mass deaths!!!

Note well:  the Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt worked in every one of those cases--until it didn't work any more.

But you'll NOT hear this one mentioned, whether by Trump, or anyone else:

TWO YEARS UNTIL IRAN HAS NUKES!!  MASS DEATH!!!

Russia and Diesel Fuel

Some would pin the price of diesel on the Iran/Netanyahu War.

It ain't necessarily so, even if it is partially so....

 ...Back in July, when NATO began increased targeting of Russian refinery infrastructure, Russian President Vladimir Putin proactively signed a government order banning the export of Russian diesel fuel.  There have been no exports of Russian diesel since, with exceptions to the shipping industry and some humanitarian farm shipments.

Russia is the world’s second largest producer of diesel fuel and as soon as Putin made this announcement global prices of diesel began to rise. Russia then extended the bans, and the current export ban will run from Aug. 1 until Jan. 31, 2027....

Trump has to walk a fine line here, keeping Putin close.

In the case of Josh Kaul?  His Department of Justice funded an extreme anti-police outfit in Madison with Federal grant money, and overpaid them by almost $50K.  The "errors" were so outrageous that the BIDEN Administration called Kaul's DOJ a "high-risk grantee."  BIDEN!!!

Kaul recently awoke from his 4-year nap to make a couple of campaign appearances.  Wisconsin should vote for Toney and allow Josh to go back to sleep in his Mommy's basement again.

A few Wisconsin schools specialize in taking tax money and flushing it down the drain.

Students of the "Paul Mitchell The School" operations in Milwaukee and Madison have sucked up $2.2 million or so in the last couple of years, but forty percent of those loans will go unpaid.

"Paul Mitchell, The School" ops depend on tax dollars for between 66%-84% of their revenue.

Maybe some responsible Wisconsin government entity should take a look at those dumps. 

 

The Boasberg Problem Gets Worse

 Judge James Boasberg, who confronted the Trump administration over its 2025 deportation flights, was a nine-time host for a Chinese law exchange funded by a Chinese Communist Party-linked spy front.

Six of those annual host credits came while Boasberg served on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. One came in 2020, when he was its presiding judge. The court reviews some of the government’s most sensitive applications for foreign-intelligence surveillance and searches....

Of course, no other DC-based jurists knew anything about this, right.  We think of CJ Roberts, for example, who does the "see no/hear no/speak no act very well, indeed.

There are lots of other blackrobes around D.C., too.

NONE of them had the sense to warn Boasberg about his associations?

 Recently, Tucker Carlson has been somewhat erratic.  But this one is not just tossing poop at a wall:

Each bomb weighs 2,000 pounds. This appears to be the largest transfer of conventional explosive ordnance from the United States in modern history.

How big is this shipment? It amounts to 40,000 tons of bombs. For perspective, the largest American air raid of World War Two was the Eighth Air Force’s attack on Berlin in March of 1945. Combined, the 2,023 Allied aircraft involved dropped about 3,000 tons of bombs....

That's only the beginning of the story.  The Mark 84 is an extremely destructive instrument; the US has never used it in any civilian areas for exactly that reason.

 

At some point, inevitably, it will be described in media accounts as an “arms sale.” It is not an arms sale. It is a gift, funded by American taxpayers through the Foreign Military Financing program, an arrangement designed to disguise welfare as capitalism: Congress appropriates money to the executive branch, which transfers the cash to Israel to “buy” American-made weapons, in this case from General Dynamics. Politicians claim this is a win for America. Most voters have no idea they paid for it. The bill in this case is about $3 billion. Add that to the $352 billion the US Treasury has transferred to Israel since 1951

"The video shows Printis Smith fleeing with a gun in his hand, repeatedly disregarding the officer’s commands to get on the ground and becoming involved in a close-range physical struggle with the officer. In the final visible image before the gunfire, Smith still has the gun in his hand and his finger is engaging (or pulling) the trigger."...

It is unusual for Ayala to come out swinging this hard over a police shooting, which tells you something.

A Waymo vehicle pulled over around 4 a.m. on September 3 and police were contacted after the company detected a “violation of … terms of service involving a firearm,” according to the Los Angeles Times.

The incident involving two passengers occurred in San Francisco, where Waymo “cooperated fully” with police....

Oh.

What we really need in this country is more cameras.

Now--in an essay that Ted Perry will probably NOT mention--some are saying that the kid was part of an op which included Obama as a central player.

 The “AI Apocalypse” scare campaign looks suspiciously like the climate hoax. How convenient that it’s come to a head right as the midterm election season kicks off this week....[It also reeks of Covid-19, by the way.]

The specifics have changed – instead of the proletariat, we have marginalized identity groups; instead of bourgeois class enemies, we have racists and transphobes; instead of socialist realism, we have DEI statements. But the deep structure is the same. That deep structure is this: truth is not discovered, it is assigned. Reality is not something to be understood honestly but something to be narrated strategically. Language is not a tool for communication but a weapon of power. And anyone who resists the approved narrative is not simply wrong – they are dangerous, and must be silenced, shamed, or destroyed....

Communism's principal enemies are, in order, the Church and the family.  Both express truth and life; both of those are inimical to the success of Communism, as is 'the Way,' which is of self-sacrifice, not self-aggrandizement/enrichment.  Thus, the attacks on the Church which often are not overt; rather, the Communist simply takes control, as in China, or Russia--or in the Talarico "church" and its many imitators.  

As to the attack on the family?  You can spell that F-E-M-I-N-I-S-M, which has morphed into transsexuality and--in its own odd way--approval of homosexual "marriage."

Flock Brings '1984' To Life!

 If you read some "X" contributors whose names begin with "Jessica", you'd swear that Flock is the ONLY way that cops can find rapists, child-kidnappers, mass shooters, and other criminal offenders; thus Flock is an IMPERATIVE for "safety".

It's not, of course; but there are a lot of ......ahh........girly-girls on "X".

Funny that they don't mention the patents filed by Flock, eh?
