Codevilla, "Ruling Class", DataCenters

We had characterized Angelo Codevilla's essay as 'one of the most important of the decade.'

We were wrong.  It's one of the most important of the entire century.  Codevilla's work pointed to the "Ruling Class" as perpetrators of a number of aggressions against the "Country Class"--us peeps who pay & obey.  We put excerpts on this post for your pleasure, but as refresher:

...As over-leveraged investment houses began to fail in September 2008, the leaders of the Republican and Democratic parties, of major corporations, and opinion leaders stretching from the National Review magazine (and the Wall Street Journal) on the right to the Nation magazine on the left, agreed that spending some $700 billion to buy the investors' "toxic assets" was the only alternative to the U.S. economy's "systemic collapse." In this, President George W. Bush and his would-be Republican successor John McCain agreed with the Democratic candidate, Barack Obama.

...The public objected immediately, by margins of three or four to one.

When this majority discovered that virtually no one in a position of power in either party or with a national voice would take their objections seriously, that decisions about their money were being made in bipartisan backroom deals with interested parties, and that the laws on these matters were being voted by people who had not read them, the term "political class" came into use. Then, after those in power changed their plans from buying toxic assets to buying up equity in banks and major industries but refused to explain why, when they reasserted their right to decide ad hoc on these and so many other matters, supposing them to be beyond the general public's understanding, the American people started referring to those in and around government as the "ruling class." ...

Yes, it's bi-partisan.  Decidedly bi-partisan.

And it's not new; talk of the "ruling class" was present in the mid-1800's and--guess what?--it was a Senator who defined that group and detailed its reason for existence:

... Accordingly, by nature, superior men subdue inferior ones as they subdue lower beings or try to improve them as they please....

And they have plans!!

.... The ruling class knows that Americans must learn to live more densely and close to work, that they must drive smaller cars and change their lives to use less energy, that their dietary habits must improve, that they must accept limits in how much medical care they get, that they must divert more of their money to support people, cultural enterprises, and plans for the planet that the ruling class deems worthier....

Eradicating Constitutional norms about "laws" and "justice," we also have this:

... Ordinary people have also gone a long way toward losing equal treatment under law. The America described in civics books, in which no one could be convicted or fined except by a jury of his peers for having violated laws passed by elected representatives, started disappearing when the New Deal inaugurated today's administrative state -- in which bureaucrats make, enforce, and adjudicate nearly all the rules. Today's legal -- administrative texts are incomprehensibly detailed and freighted with provisions crafted exquisitely to affect equal individuals unequally. The bureaucrats do not enforce the rules themselves so much as whatever "agency policy" they choose to draw from them in any given case. If you protest any "agency policy" you will be informed that it was formulated with input from "the public." But not from the likes of you....

And the "country class"?

...It has no privileged podiums, and speaks with many voices, often inharmonious. It shares above all the desire to be rid of rulers it regards inept and haughty. It defines itself practically in terms of reflexive reaction against the rulers' defining ideas and proclivities -- e.g., ever higher taxes and expanding government, subsidizing political favorites, social engineering, approval of abortion, etc. Many want to restore a way of life largely superseded. Demographically, the country class is the other side of the ruling class's coin: its most distinguishing characteristics are marriage, children, and religious practice. While the country class, like the ruling class, includes the professionally accomplished and the mediocre, geniuses and dolts, it is different because of its non-orientation to government and its members' yearning to rule themselves rather than be ruled by others.

Codevilla goes on, but doesn't mention the last several years' abuses, which include the Covid Fraud, the likelihood of Election Fraud on a massive scale (81 MILLION votes??) the obvious 'They Will Not Be Punished" two-tier justice system, the also-obvious nascent beginning of PanOpticon--which--together with Data Center capabilities--will create a surveillance state that Stalin would have died for.  No need for "snitches'!!

So to those who ask "What's the Problem with Data Centers"?

Let's start with hubris, move on to "Who Pays" and then to that Surveillance State that they facilitate.

It's not really "Data Centers" per se.  They just happen to be the Ruling Class' newest toy which will be shoved down your stinking throat no matter what you say or do--just like those damn cameras.

By the way, this whole Codevilla thing is also why JDVance is popular, and why his Catholic Social Doctrine-fueled "populism" is attractive.

This is not over, friends.

"Measles Deaths" in PA? Not Likely

The first thing you notice about the "measles-related deaths" in PA is the word "RELATED."

Yep.  That's the FauciFraud returning.

One of them was an infant whose cause of death was "ruptured spleen."  You know exactly what that means.

The other?

"Related."  Maybe they drove their motorcycle into a wall at 70 MPH while having measles, f'r instance.

"Super El Nino" = Super B.S.

A few weeks ago, Da Nooz was all agog over "Super El Nino."  It even crossed into some Local Yokel coverage.

It's all B.S., of course.

Deutsche Welle (DW) claims in “How climate change is teaming up with ‘Super El Nino” that a developing “Super El Niño,” combined with climate change, could make 2026 one of the hottest years on record while increasing the risks of heat waves, wildfires, droughts, hurricanes, and marine heat waves around the world. This is highly misleading. El Niño are long-recognized naturally recurring ocean-atmosphere cycles that have operated for thousands of years and strong El Niño events have occurred periodically throughout history, long before industrial greenhouse gas emission began to increase.

The first red flag appears in the headline itself. There is no official meteorological definition of a “Super El Niño.”...

The "Super" is pure propaganda.

But you suspected as much when the "news" people began having orgasms over the term.

Soros Money, Then "Seditious Six"

Data Republican prints "the REST of the story" about the "Seditious Six" members of Congress who pushed the ball toward refusing orders of the Commander-in-Chief.

The ball started here:

On January 30, 2017 — ten days into the first Trump presidency — Rosa Brooks published a piece in Foreign Policy laying out four ways to remove a sitting president before his term ended: impeachment, the 25th Amendment, resignation under pressure, and a military coup. Of the last, she imagined the moment senior officers would look at a lawful commander-in-chief and refuse:...

So who is this insurrectionist?

... In late 2018 [Rosa Brooks] joined the advisory council of National Security Action — the organization assembling the personnel. Prior to joining, she sat on the board of Open Society Foundations’ U.S. Programs, the grant-making entity upstream of the money that funded it. She was a senior fellow at New America — which itself takes $1 million-plus annually from Open Society — running its Future of War program, the intellectual shop studying exactly the civil-military questions her network would later litigate.

One person. Four seats. The board of the funder, the think tank writing the framework, the council assembling the staff, and ... then, the project that would rehearse what that staff should do with power....

Oh, yes:  she also teaches at GeorgetownThat fact alone should make you snap to attention.

Data has the rest here.

What Blew Up the US-Canada Deal?

Hilarious crapola from Canada.  That's what blew up the deal.

...Essentially, it boils down to four issues. !1) Removal of tariffs on Canadian assembled Semi-Trucks. (2) U.S. streaming services writing code for “search engines” in the French language. (3) Canada demanding 5% of gross revenues from U.S. tech platforms, and the last one is silly because it already exists: (4) the U.S. having a right to reject a trade deal made by Canada with a non-market economy, ie. CHINA....

The Silly Senatrix from Wisconsin couldn't figure out what that (2) actually meant, so she decried it as 'the US demanding Culture Change in Canada' or some such asinine claim.

Carney wants political points AND prefers to deal with Red China.

Hope the Snow Mexicans enjoy that ride!

Bp. Barron and Dad29

Gee.  The Bishop gets it.  There's something implied here that +Barron won't say out loud, but it's obvious.

In an O'Reilly interview, +Barron said this:

...Catholic social teaching says a government has a right to maintain its borders to enforce its immigration laws. It has to do it humanely, of course, but those two things are in a healthy tension with each other.

What I said to Vance was, you know, my job as a churchman is to articulate the principles. Your job, especially as a Catholic politician, is to formulate the policy. Don’t turn to me to say, “Now, what exactly should we do with this piece of immigration legislation?” I don’t have the detailed knowledge on the ground. That’s for people like you....

Yup.

He then went on to say that the US (and all other countries) must defend their borders because:

...the chaos caused by an open border — and I mean the moral chaos. Just [consider] the issue of child sex trafficking, which is staggering. And the more we read about that and more that becomes clear to us, the more we see that an unregulated border is a morally very dangerous proposition.

So, I don’t hold to that simple-minded view that, yes, welcome the stranger, therefore no immigration laws, therefore no regulated border. No, no, no, Catholic social teaching is nuanced on that point....

Gee.  We've been saying that for quite some time, and we've gone further.  USCC bureaucrats (and some simple-minded Bishops) are morally culpable for the sex- and drug- and labor-trafficking. Not all of them are "simple-minded," either; take that for what it's worth.

Barron implies exactly that.

$100K/H1-B Fees Coming Up

Trump will impose a $103+K fee for each H1-B put on the payrolls in the US.

There are hundreds of H1-B computer programmers and engineers in the Milwaukee area.

Think Milwaukee Electric Tool will pay $100K for each of its 400 H1-Bs?  CapGemini for its several hundred?  (Cap is a bodyshop.  Think "Kohl's" and/or "Deluxe Data")

Yah. Nope.

Naturally, this will go to court again.  First time around, some twit-in-black said that the fee is a "tax."

This time around, Trump claims that the FEE will be used to offset expenses incurred for administering the H1-B program.

(No judge has been asked to review Roberts' asinine ObozoCare "fee/tax/fee/tax" ruling--yet).

Ted Cruz, the Back-and-Forthright "Conservative"

American Conservative notes the vast differences between the Ted Cruz(es) serving in the Senate.

No wonder Charlie Sykes had a b*ner whenever Ted spoke.

Tea Party Yes!!  Tea Party No!!  Foreign wars NO!!  Foreign wars YES!!

At least he hasn't gone Switch.  Yet.

A.G. Kaul's Anti-Cop Grantee

Hint:  Kaul's office is funding anti-cop jackwads in Madison.

... The state DOJ, which Kaul runs, has continued giving Freedom Inc. federal money despite years of incendiary and outrageous statements against police. For example, another $48,000 grant went to the group in 2025. Kaul’s agency shoveled another $98,000 to the group for 2025-26. In 2023-24, Wisconsin DOJ listed Freedom Inc. receiving a whopping $745,550. DOJ determines grant awardees for federal money through the Violence Against Women Act. The city of Madison and another state agency have also given the group money....

Plenty more at the link.

No wonder ChubbyBitch Kaul hasn't put his face in public even though he's running for another term as A.G.

It's All About the SPENDING, Stupid!

The essay linked here is the long-form version of this chart.  Read the essay, too.

Note the WILD OVERSPEND of both Obozo and Cabbage; so:  what really causes inflation?

St. Augustine On America's Immigrant Problem

Interesting bit of knowledge about St Augustine's thought which happens to pertain to America's current political situation.

...In the political and theological thought of St. Augustine, populus (a people) is defined in The City of God as a multitude of rational beings united by a common agreement as to the objects of their love.

A true populus is bound together not merely by laws, but by what its members collectively value and love.  ...  Augustine uses populus specifically to denote a unified, conscious polity rather than a random crowd (turba) or a mere ethnic group (gens). ...

That should clarify the problem with certain groups of immigrants--both "legal" and not--which believe and act as though the United States should conform to their politics and religion rather than oursIOW, if you don't like a Christian republic, you're not part of the 'populus' here.

Ford Re-Shores; Buick Remains in China

Good wages and bennies for FoMoCo people!

Ford is expanding production of their Lincoln vehicles in the , adding thousands of jobs and reducing reliance on Chinese imports.

The automaker said the move will “further strengthen Ford’s position as America’s No. 1 auto producer,” per an Aug. 12 report from CNBC.

The move is expected to bring “thousands of direct and indirect U.S. jobs” as more Lincoln models are manufactured domestically....

Buick continues to manufacture the Envision in Red ChinaMary Barra maximizes GM profits and stock price to pad her retirement to The Villages.

Sending Omar Ilhan Home? About Damn Time!

The Congress-critter (D-Somalia) has been under investigation for immigration fraud.

Things are moving in the right direction.

[President Trump]  appeared to confirm that federal immigration authorities have active or contemplated enforcement proceedings against radical “Squad” Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota over long-standing allegations of immigration fraud.

Trump shared a bombshell report from Just the News revealing that Immigration and Customs Enforcement refused to release records concerning its investigation into the Minnesota Democrat.

ICE claimed that disclosing the records could interfere with “enforcement proceedings.”...

The Bessent FAIL (Twice)

Recall that Bessent worked for Soros and was instrumental in breaking the British pound.

This columnist doesn't think much of Bessent's "Save the World" bond action.

...Bessent is playing games with the hugely important bond market, trying to fool the buyers and sellers with his two hocus-pocus shows – the big kahuna joint US-Japan yen intervention at the beginning of August, and the announcement of the doubling of the Treasury buybacks on Wednesday. Those two shows were designed to push down long-term Treasury yields. But the bond market doesn’t want to be played with. It has bigger problems. Real problems.

This time, the hocus-pocus show worked for only one day. And that effect was wiped out in two days. Long-term Treasury yields have now fully re-gained the drop on Wednesday.

The 30-year Treasury yield rose by another 4 basis points on Friday to 5.27%, having in two days regained the entire 10-basis-point hocus-pocus drop on Wednesday. On Monday, the 30-year yield had gone over 5.30%, the highest since June 2007, more than wiping out the effects of Bessent’s first hocus-pocus show, and it had spooked Bessent, and rattled, he came up with the second hocus-pocus, which has now also flopped....

Some would love to blame Trump for this problem and it's true that he deserves blame.

But the REAL blame, and 90% of the problem, is spelled C-O-N-G-R-E-S-S.

Whether they are merely shelf decorations like Scott Fitzgerald or utter and total public menaces like Schumer and Pelosi, they all love to spend more than they have.

There are plenty of trees and ropes in this country which are presently un-used.

We have suggestions......

DARPA, Gates, & Epstein (??)

The essay at RedState raises a question that RedState does not ask.

The mystery surrounding Bill Gates' extraordinary access to some of the federal government's most sensitive information is a bone-chilling look at how America’s elites are corrupting our government.

And the latest trail leads through nuclear research, the Pentagon, DARPA — and, strangely enough, Jeffrey Epstein....

Much later in the piece:

...in November 2010, Gates’ science adviser Boris Nikolic emailed Jeffrey Epstein that he had just arranged a private dinner—“only three of us – Regina, Bill and me and it was great!”—with Regina Dugan, then-director of DARPA. Contacts continued through 2011, including scheduling notes and a confirmed DARPA meeting.

This establishes a direct, ongoing channel between Gates’ inner circle and the head of the Pentagon’s premier research agency, reported in real time to Epstein....

The question not asked:

Why was Epstein looped in to Gates, Dugan (DARPA), and Nikolic?

Hmmmmmm?

JDVance: Right Here, Minute 22:00

JDVance was in Middletown, OH., (his home town) speaking at the old Armco Steel plant.  (Milwaukee had an Armco office.)  He talked about the "Free Trade" ghouls and their effects on Americans.

Beginning at 22:00, you'll hear one of those stories that will NEVER leave your mind--unless you're on the Editorial Board of the Wall Street Journal, or on the Board of the US Chamber of Commerce.  To those cold-blooded reptiles, it's just a 'cost of doing business.'

But it's also symbolic of what Clinton and Bush the Dumber did to the industrial Midwest.

NOTE:  Link Fixed

Once Again, "Catholic" Charities

Almost like a broken record.

A ... federal judge has struck down the Trump administration’s suspension of immigrant visas for foreign nationals of 75 countries, handing immigration activists another victory against President Trump’s effort to slam the brakes on mass immigration.

And once again, a law passed more than 60 years ago — the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, better known as the Hart-Celler Act — is a specter still haunting America’s broken immigration system.

At the heart of the case is the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC), a “religious” organization that has gotten into the legalized human trafficking racket....

CLINIC is a subsidiary of the USCCB, and we all know that the Catholic Bishops have facilitated human (and drug, and sex-trafficking) through the border since before Trump 1.

This particular case, however, boils down to welfare-sucking.

...“Vargas ruled the policy was reviewable under the APA because it was final agency action: it imposed mandatory instructions requiring consular officers to refuse visas and had immediate legal consequences, even though individual officers implemented those refusals.”

Here is what the legacy media is not highlighting about this huge case: It has to do with the extraordinary numbers of immigrants who are on public welfare....

How much public welfare?

Currently, the United States has 59 percent of non-citizen households and 53 percent of immigrant households on public welfare. That’s according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2024 Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP)....

Bishops will tell us that the Church mandates charity to the stranger.  But the Church's own Catechism has conditions:

CCC #2241: “The more prosperous nations are obliged, to the extent they are able, to welcome the foreigner in search of the security and the means of livelihood which he cannot find in his country of origin.

Oh.

"...to the extent they are able...."  Hmmmm.

Further note--this is important--that the immigrant "cannot find" a "means of livelihood" in their home country.

The US Bishops would do well to examine closely their "immigration assistance" operations (found all over the USA) to make certain that 1)  the immigrants ARE obeying the laws of the US (also a part of the Catechism's teaching) and 2)  that the (LEGAL) immigrants find jobs so that they are not public liabilities.

Reminding the Bishops that the Government's first responsibility is seeing to the welfare of its own citizens may help.

Cutting off donations to the "Annual Appeal" will also be helpful

Remember These Names?

Sundance assembles a list of names.  The FBI seized laptops and/or phones from these people.

But you've never seen ANY of the materials on those devices, have you?

Nope. And you know why.

... Hunter Biden laptop, Huma Abedin laptop, Anthony Weiner cell phones, Hillary Clinton phone(s) and laptops; Awan Brothers laptops (4) and phones; Seth Rich phone and laptop; Jeffrey Epstein, phones, laptops, hard drives; Stephen Craig Paddock phones and laptops, Syed Rizwan Farook/Tashfeen Malik cell phones, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev phones and laptops; Senator Bob Menendez, phones and laptops etc....

It's easy to remember Biden, Clinton, Epstein.  But we're willing to bet that most of you 18 readers do NOT recognize all the other names, or even most of them.

Yes, there is a reason for that, you miserable peasant.

Pocan Confirms His Commie Creds

Looks like Mark Pocan (D?-WI) is shoring up his Commie Creds before Francesca Hong primaries his homosexual ass.  Here, he attacks the US/Rubio clampdown on his BFF Castro-ite Cuban dictators:

...The “silent Gaza” talking point had previously been promoted by four radical leftist members of Congress, Rep. Mark Pocan, Rep. Maxine Dexter, Rep Teresa Leger-Fernndez and Rep. Delia Catalina-Ramrez, who, despite the supposed “collapse of infrastructure” and “fuel shortages” that UN human rights experts were complaining about, were able to fly in and tour Cuba.

“I think Marco Rubio is making this personal and not professional,” Rep. Pocan whined, implying that the son of a Cuban refugee should really not take the dictatorship that destroyed his homeland personally. Rep. Pocan, who had spent much of  the last few years defending Hamas-run Gaza from Israeli attacks on the Islamic group, claimed Cuba was a “silent Gaza.”...

This posturing and pandering probably won't make a differenceHong will demolish Pocan in a fair fight.  The city of Madison has been a Communist redoubt for well over 50 years, fueled by the UW-Madison's professoriate, and has trended even-more-Lefty every year.

Still and all, it will be fun to watch Pocan twist and squirm while Hong roasts him on a spit.

"Catholic" Biblical Association? SRSLY?

"Woke" is not limited to political twits.

The Catholic Biblical Association of America (CBA) has elected for the first time in its 90-year history a Jewish president. Biblical scholar Amy-Jill Levine, a specialist in the New Testament and a member of the association since 1988, will serve as president for the 2026-2027 term...

What could go wrong?

... Her appointment is particularly significant given that the organization’s statutes require its work to be carried out in accordance with Catholic Magisterium and that it provides counsel to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

Levine has previously advocated for reconsidering the full proclamation of the Passion according to Saint John on Good Friday and has held positions on the contemporary application of certain biblical texts related to homosexuality that differ in some respects from Catholic moral teaching. She now intends to collaborate with U.S. bishops on biblical guidelines for preaching and catechesis, as well as to strengthen resources for clergy and religious educators....

Oh.  Well.  Is that all??

... The new president also does not consider that “everything attributed to Jesus in the New Testament comes directly from Jesus.” Among her arguments she mentions that Christ spoke Aramaic while the New Testament texts were written in Greek. Levine maintains that this historical-critical approach is compatible with Catholic doctrine and specifies that the Church’s proclamation is based on the words of Scripture as they have been received, not on a possible scholarly reconstruction prior to them....

Cdl. Cupcake will be pleased, as will the current Abp. in D.C.

Actual Catholics?  They'll continue to ignore the CBA, just as they have for the last several decades

City of MKE Drowning in Tax/Spend Problem. Solution HERE!!

Long story short, the City of Milwaukee has a spending problem AND a revenue problem.

The city's comptroller--who knows which side his bread is buttered on--blames the State (specifically, the Republican legislature) for the City's spending and revenue problems. Note that he "forgets" that Tony Evers signed the deal, but that's politics.

... His first report, released Wednesday, forecasts a $52.5 million structural deficit for 2027. By 2031, his office projects that number nearly doubles to $104.5 million, which represents 5 percent of the current budget....

Not good.

...Part of the reason Christianson said that's too big a gap to solve with just budget cuts stems from state law. The same legislation that allowed the city to impose its 2 percent sales tax also mandated hiring more police officers and firefighters.

"The two largest departments – we're not able to... we have no ability to shrink. They're in fact going to grow," Christianson said....

The Republicans have a fetish about ......ahhhh.....'satisfying'...........the police union.  The firemen's union is a hard-left bunch, so we have no idea why Vos & Co. included them here.

...While the city can increase property taxes, the amount remains limited by state law, and collecting more sales tax requires state approval. ...

So the City must spend on police & fire, and "may not" raise revenue, all due to State laws passed by the meanie-mean Republicans.

OK.  Here's our solution:

The next Legislature and Governor should remove all revenue and spending mandates for the City.  Let the City of Milwaukee solve its own problems by raising taxes and/or cutting police and fire services.  The City's own Controller says those are the problems--so let the City fix them.

RoJo Disappoints With "Pro-Forma" Sessions

In order to prevent President Trump from naming permanent high-end Federal officials, various US Senators have "gaveled in" Pro-Forma sessions.

That includes Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI).

RoJo was ordered to do so by Jackwad #1:  John Thune.  The disappointment?  RoJo did what he was told to frustrate Trump AND ALL TRUMP'S VOTERS.

RoJo knows better.  Shame on him.

"Da Merder Works" Re-Charges

An old pal and union President who worked there referred to Waukesha Engine as 'Da Merder Works"--a play on "Motor"....

Anyhow.

Waukesha manufacturer Innio is rolling out plans to invest $300 million to expand its facility and says it will add 500 jobs in the years to come.

The company says it wants to expand its footprint to help keep up with what it calls the "rapidly growing data center" business....

Innio purchased the old Waukesha Engine business.  GE had purchased it from Dresser Industries and moved the HQ to Canada (!).  For a while, there were not a lot of cars in their parking lot, but that appears to be changing.

Demand for large standby generators has also been very good to Generac, another Waukesha County-based manufacturer.

No More Tax Bennies for Illegals!

 Another (long-overdue) correction.

Cheats should never prosper. The Trump administration heeds that ethos and has stopped illegal immigrants from profiting off kickbacks drawn from four major refundable tax credit programs.

The initiative was announced Wednesday by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and is destined to benefit taxpayers by an estimated $3 billion.

The NY Post first reported the Treasury Department and IRS unveiled new rules “to tighten the requirements for the adoption, child, American opportunity, and earned income tax credits so that only U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and qualified aliens can get them.”...

Utterly shocking that the Cabbage Administration didn't do this./sarc

Also--for you eGOP twits living in the past--surprising that Bush the Dumber didn't do this, either./sarc

Democrats, last-century Republicans.........all the same.

Iran: Distant Second in "Terror Attacks"

The propaganda emitted by.........ahhh..........certain 'special interests'.......in the US would have you believe that Iran is 'the leading state sponsor of terrorism.'  That claim is repeated endlessly (which is one of the leading signs of propaganda.  Surprise!!)

Anyhow, the US Government's very own index makes Iran into a second-rate "sponsor."

...The place to test the claim is the data the State Department itself publishes — the statistical annex to Country Reports on Terrorism, and before it Patterns of Global Terrorism, the congressionally mandated series that has catalogued international terrorist incidents year by year since 1990. When you actually read those tables, a different picture emerges from the one sold on cable  [read:  FOX] news. ...

Year after year across 2004–2023, the most active and lethal groups are Sunni: the Taliban, ISIS, Boko Haram, al-Qaeda and its affiliates, al-Shabaab, the TTP. On the order of nine in ten attacks in the reporting trace back to Sunni extremist actors operating out of the Salafi-jihadist tradition. None of them answer to Tehran. Most regard Shia Muslims — Iran very much included — as heretics, and target them accordingly. ISIS has spent years at open war with Iran and its allies....

It's not just the US State Department, either.

...A separate French dataset, compiled by FONDAPOL over a longer 1979–April 2024 window, lands in the same place. The five deadliest Islamist groups over that period account for better than 80 percent of all victims of Islamist terrorism — and every one of the five is Sunni: the Taliban, ISIS, Boko Haram, al-Shabaab, and al-Qaeda....

FYI, the Sunnis are in charge of Saudi Arabia.  Those of you with memory know that Saudi Arabia is the home-country of Bin Laden.  The people of New York City remember his name.

The LONG Story on Schiff, Fang-Fang, Swalwell, and the FBI

As usual, the Last Refuge has the long story, neatly told.

Here's a graf you must remember:

...The FBI has two basic missions.  The #1 primary mission is to protect the interests of Washington DC officials from the outcome of their own conduct.  The #2 secondary mission is to protect the American people from known wolves....

The FBI knew about the Red Chinese penetrations of the Senate and House for decadesDecades

You'll come across the acronym "SSCI" in the post.  That's the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Note VERY Well:  Marco Rubio was inducted into that very committee.

Even More "DOOM! DOOM! DOOM!" on the MMR

Childers points out the WaPo DOOM DOOM DOOM headline--which is not really supported by the actual numbers.

...our first unintentionally hysterical story, published in the Washington Post yesterday afternoon, seems like pretty good news. As the dramatic headline said, another record has been reached— and it is the public health establishment’s worst nightmare: hesitation. But the story was actually the latest example of public health using fear manipulation and kids as props to sell jabs....

What?  You mean that the Highly-Trained Professionals at WaPo were......fiddling with words??

Yes, indeedy!!

... U.S. kindergartners who invoked school vaccine exemptions in the 2025-2026, which nudged up by a tiny fraction (0.6%), increasing slightly from 3.6% to 4.2%....  With the non-dramatic exemption increase of only six per thousand, it’s not like pediatricians were staring at empty offices wondering where all the kids went....

But the Post took that single statistical blip, grabbed its Thesaurus of Alarming Words, and went to town, catastrophizing this barely detectable 0.6% movement as a “sharp increase” that “extends a years-long erosion” as “the country battles its worst measles resurgence in 35 years.”...

If you've paid attention, you have noticed the VaxxNanny of Wisconsin flapping his jaw about THREE recent cases of measles in Wisconsin.  He's easy to recognize, as he was haranguing citizens about the REAL NECESSITY OF MASKING, DISTANCING, and ....above all.......TAKING THE SinoSinusVaxx.  He was joined in another news propaganda story featuring a woman from Childrens' Hospital and Transsexual Mutilation Center, singing the praises of the MMR.

So there's no doubt about it.   Really.  We MEAN it!!

It is not co-incidence that the WaPo story and the appearances of these doctors show up at about the time Big Pharma expects to sell the Hell out of shots.

So there's no doubt about it.

We thought college tuition has been ridiculously high since about 1990.

Credit some frat-boys from Penn State for finding a way to pay it!

More than a dozen Penn State frat brothers were busted for running a complex cocaine trafficking ring out of two separate fraternities that forced young pledges to cut and bag the drugs then sold to students, according to prosecutors....

Used to be marijuana, but the profits weren't as good.

Crime WAAAYYY Down. Blame Trump.

It's not just Milwaukee that's seen a decrease in violent crime.

It's national.  There is a reason:  Donald Trump.

...CBS briefly nodded at “a hard-line approach to public safety,” including “immigration crackdowns” and National Guard deployments to big cities. Even CBS’s hostile (but “nonpartisan”—just wait) crime expert, Adam Gelb, grudgingly conceded that “the detention and deportation of people with criminal histories and charges” helped lead to “tens of thousands fewer high-risk individuals on the streets.

This, Gelb allowed, may contribute to lower homicide numbers. You think?

CBS did not mention the closed border. It omitted all of the other crime-fighting policies, like Trump’s crackdowns on cartels, gangs, and Antifa. On his first day in office, Trump signed two crime-related executive orders. One of them, titled “Protecting the American People Against Invasion” ordered Homeland Security task forces (HSTFs) to every single state to “end the presence of criminal cartels, foreign gangs, and transnational criminal organizations.” The second directed the State Department to start designating FTOs. By February, Tren de Aragua, MS-13, and six more cartel gangs were designated as foreign terrorist organizations....

Less criminals in the country, less crime in the country.

That gives rise to a question:  what is the Democrat Socialist David Crowley strategy?

A Reminder to Catholic Charities & Bishops

It is true that not all Muslims are raging killers and rapists.

It is also true that North Africa--before the Muslims overran it--had three hundred Catholic dioceses.

So we lift a couple grafs from this essay:

...One of Christianity’s great strengths is its respect for the dignity of every human person, religious or otherwise, as a child of God.  The Church serves that dignity with exceptional skill in her support for migrants.  This is an essential part of our faith.  But a family – and the Church is a very large family with a very specific Biblical faith – has its first obligations not to strangers but to its own members’ health, safety, and future. Otherwise the family ensures its own extinction.

When the Church allows herself to be seen as more concerned with strangers of alien (and historically resistant and unfriendly) faith than with the needs of her own people – the people who will bear the cost of unrestrained immigration – she colludes in her own disappearance....

Keep that in mind, you "charities" and Bishops.  Actual Catholics certainly will.

Josh Kaul vs. WI Drivers' Safety

If you, or your spouse, or your children, or your grandchildren drive a car, Josh Kaul wants to make it easy for them to get killed or maimed.

Kaul doesn't give a rotten damn about YOUR safety, which makes him the diametric opposite of Eric Toney, who, thankfully, is running against Josh.

What makes us think that Li'l Joshie-Poo doesn't give a flying damn about your on-the-road safety?

...  the blue states don’t want DHS or the American people to know how many illegal aliens are driving on CDLs....

Li'l Joshie-Poo is spending YOUR money on this lawsuit.

...The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) previously issued subpoenas for approximately 17 million commercial driver’s license (CDL) records, which has led to a legal battle involving multiple Democratic run states.

A coalition of 22 blue states is now suing the DHS, claiming that the demand for this sensitive data is part of a broader effort to create a “nationwide surveillance system” and that the DHS lacks legal authority to access such records. The lawsuit argues that the data could jeopardize drivers’ privacy and violate federal privacy laws....

Or, as LR puts it:

...The coalition argues DHS has no legal authority to demand the truck drivers’ license records and would jeopardize drivers’ privacy if they receive them.

American citizens are not permitted to know who and how many illegal aliens are operating dangerous trucks on the roadways.  The privacy of the illegal aliens is paramount to the safety of the American citizen motorist....

No wonder Kaul is hiding under his bed instead of campaigning out in the open, eh?

Some People Are Hired to Hector You

Never thought of it this way, but it's true.

... Hectoring is, of course, an employment opportunity for bureaucrats. One can well imagine how much good they think they are doing by reminding people to beware of slippery floors when it rains and to bring an umbrella, to keep hydrated in hot weather, to wrap up warm in cold, to arrive in good time to catch their train without having to hurry, not to be abusive or use racist language. ...

And he didn't mention the Glorious HectorFest of Covid19!

How much money is wasted by hiring these nagging twits?

Trump Wins Again on TPS. So Do We!!

Good news.

A Massachusetts-based Obama judge on Friday lifted her stay in a case brought by Somali holders of temporary protected status (TPS), clearing the way for the Trump administration to begin deporting them.

The Supreme Court decided in a related case that the judiciary had no power to review the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) termination of TPS for Haiti and Syria....

That judge-ette knew all along that SCOTUS had ruled in favor of the USA (and Trump) previously, but issued her stay regardless.

Now ICE can take out the garbage.

The "Don't Tell!!" Press

Not an unusual story.  Guy from Indiana shows up in MKE, steals three diamond rings from three different stores, gets caught.  He's also a felon-in-possession of a weapon.

Goes to trial, found guilty.  Ho-hum.

Here's the very interesting part:

...A Milwaukee County judge sentenced Timothy Dodd to one year of probation. The judge originally sentenced Dodd to two years in prison plus an additional two years of extended supervision, but then stayed that sentence and opted for probation.  ...

First question:  why doesn't Fox6 identify the judge?  By the way, one VERY RARELY finds the name of the judges who issue light-to-nonexistent sentences (like the above one) in "the news."

Why not?  Why hide the judge?  Who made the "Don't Tell" rule here??

Second question:  why the Hell did that judge lift the prison sentence and go for probation?

Why Hong "Lost"

The Marquette Poller, Charles Franklin, theorizes that "older" (D) voters--who show up at the polls, (unlike the under-30 crowd who answered Marquette's calls)--simply would not have a Socialist Communist running on the (D) ticket.

His explanation seems to be corroborated by this tidbit:

... "El-Sayed is underperforming with Black voters, women, and suburban voters compared with former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election....

That post also has a warning for hard-right (moronic) Republican candidates, by the way.  JD Vance is not wrong.

Crowley's Motte & Bailey Gambit

David Crowley is just as radical a Leftist as is Francesca Hong.  The only difference is how they say it.

This is the "motte & bailey" game, explained in this short video.

She has the full-blown "I am a CRAZY" bailey position.

He holds the "I am NOT so crazy" motte position.

MKE Election Staff: Functional Illiterates?

As was clearly demonstrated by Channel 58's video, staff at the Milwaukee Election Commission are apparently functionally illiterate--that is, they cannot read.

Milwaukee Public Schools.

Huckabee (!!) Decries Israeli "Terrorists"

For some strange reason, this item was not mentioned by ANY "news" outlet except NPR.  Of course, that could mean that it is not true, but who knows........

Israeli settlers have besieged three homes in the occupied West Bank, including one owned by a Palestinian American. U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee referred to the settlers as "terrorists."...

The report is audio, not text.  Go to the link.

This is not the first time Israeli "settlers" have harassed Christians or Muslims on land owned by the latter.  This IS Zionism in practice:  keep taking land.  Just take it.  God told you to, or sumpin'sumpin'.

The Pentagon Problems

Not that long ago, it was The Pentagon Papers.  Now it's the Pentagon Problems.

Leave aside the reported fungus-laden showers/no soap/filthy water problems reported on that $KaZillion dollar aircraft carrier--and note that Hegseth has never denied those accusations.

How about the General Dynamics scam?

A major U.S. defense contractor received more than $500 million from U.S. taxpayers for an artillery-shell plant that produced not “a single usable shell.”

Investigative-reporting website ProPublica revealed that General Dynamics received that boatload of money to produce shells at a plant in Mesquite, Texas. It hired a Turkish subcontractor that provided malfunctioning equipment that did nothing but break down....

Need some salt for that wound?  Here it is:

...Not so shockingly, the catastrophic failure is linked to the war in Ukraine, where many if not most of the shells were destined to go. So U.S. taxpayers were fleeced for yet another foreign war in which the United States has no interest....

General Dynamics has refused to send the $500 million back.

But they pinky-swore cross-their-heart-promised to "discount" future purchases to make up for it.

Yup.  They did.  So STFU, rube.

Hey, Pete!!  Where's the CLEAN AUDIT of your outfit?

WI Dept Health Svcs Shilling for Big Pharma......Again

The DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM-screechers are back!

Wisconsin health officials are reporting a sharp increase in measles cases in Iowa and Lafayette counties, with 15 confirmed infections and six probable cases identified as of Thursday morning....

These are FAR MORE DANGEROUS AND DOOM-ISH CASES than the thousands of cases which occurred in decades before (e.g., the '50's) which left hundreds dead on the streets a few victims with pock-marks and about one week of missed school.  You understand that, right, peasants??

Since the DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM-screechers no longer have Covid (a nasty flu developed by US scientists at UNC-Charlotte and in a leaky lab in China) to screech about, they're moving on.

Notice that the emphasis is on clearing the shelves of the MMR vaxx--the one which the US HHS has suspicions about?

Hmmmm?

The ever-reliable Big Pharma ally Ryan Westergaard--who pushed the FauciVaxx line--is not embarrassed at all about his CoviDOOM bleatings (he never apologized, did he?) is back for more TeeeeVeeee time.

He takes himself seriously.  Why don't you??

Yoo Hoo!! Calling Josh Kaul!!!

In case you've forgotten, Josh Kaul is (nominally) Wisconsin's Attorney General.

But he's not particularly interested in the easy cases like this one in Texas:

... Late last week, the Houston Chronicle reported, Texas Children’s Hospital must provide free ‘detransition’ care under settlement. You could not unfairly describe the settlement as ritual humiliation. Paxton is cutting the hospitals’ woke, defiant berries off....

It's quite a "settlement."

...On top of paying the state $9 million, TCH must also pay the legal fees of the whistleblowing nurse, Vanessa Sivadge, who turned them in. Vanessa also gets nearly $2 million from the state’s settlement for being the whistleblower.

Next, the hospital must permanently bar five gender-bending doctors who worked there. Buh bye. Best of luck in your future endeavors. They’re professional pariahs now. And the hospital must release a public statement admitting it illegally provided gender transition care, and take down a previous online statement denying all wrongdoing that claimed the system was only settling “to protect our resources from endless and costly litigation.”...

Children's Hospital of Milwaukee was blatantly celebratory about its "transition" butcheries.

Hello, Josh!!  Are you still awake in there??

Fitzgerald "Proud" To Compromise US Military

Fitzgerald knows his place, and it's not really representing the citizens of Wisconsin.

Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) issued the following statement after voting to pass S. 1071, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026.

“I was proud to vote for the FY26 NDAA as it advances President Trump’s mission to keep America strong, secure, and dominant on the world stage...

B as in Barbara, S as in Streisand, Scottie, you chunky Pubbie.

...A provision tucked into the House Armed Services Committee’s draft version of the Fiscal Year 2027 defense policy bill could move the U.S.-Israel military relationship beyond traditional aid and into a far deeper form of defense-industrial integration....

Oh.

And more to come!  The Senate version (Tom "Jerusalem" Cotton-pushed) includes mandatory INTEL-sharing with IsraelSince few--if any--countries want Israel's eyes on their intel, they will stop sharing intel with the US.

Great!

And how will such a ridiculous (and seditious) provision pass?

Simple:  the Senate will tell Trump that he gets SAVE if and only if he agrees to the Israel intel-share, and hammers such "representatives" as Fitzgerald into agreement.

See how that works?

Where the Hell is the Navy's Money Spent??

Lots of Americans think that the US Navy is the finest navy in the world, bar none.  And they pay a Helluvalot of money for it, too.

Ummmmnnnhhh...

...Military families and members of Congress are sounding the alarm about the hellish conditions on the USS Abraham Lincoln. The vessel’s 5,000 sailors and Marines have spent nearly 300 days at sea and will likely remain in the Middle East for as long as the globalist quagmire in Iran continues. They are suffering because America’s feeble leaders cannot bring themselves to stop fighting Israel’s wars.

How bad is life on the USS Abraham Lincoln? Really bad. The Navy Times reported this week that numerous sailors have tried to kill themselves during their extended deployment, and
the massive aircraft carrier reportedly has moldy showers, broken toilets, and no soap, deodorant, or toothpaste.   ...

If I were Hegseth, I'd fire a dozen or so flag officers, cut the Navy's R&D programs for "advanced ships"  and use the money for a crap-ton of P&G products and a few dozen plumbers.  Then I'd charge-back the plumbing repairs to the shipbuilder who f****d this up to a fare-thee-well, and add a penalty of $10 million--which I would distribute to every enlisted sailor on that ship

The Air Force One Waltz: Fake "Intel"?

Trump took the word of Netanyahu's intel outfit, abandoned AF1 and used a different plane to exit Turkey.

Israeli intel said AF1 was a target on that trip.

Really?

...The Washington Post reported on Wednesday that the CIA did not trust Israel’s claims, saying the agency viewed them “as low confidence.” Some officials went further by suggesting the point of Israel’s report was to manipulate Trump into baselessly viewing Iran as a threat to America’s homeland. One former official said the warning “fit a broader pattern of Israeli intelligence reporting that some officials see as designed as much to shape presidential decision-making as to inform it.”...

Dunno about that.  Israeli intel told Trump that taking down Iran's government would be a one-week walk in the park.  So obviously, Israeli intel never............oh...............wait............

"Moderate" Crowley, Eh? The Lying Press....

We think Moderate Crowley likes Thanksgiving, although he's never said so publicly.  Note well:  the local Propaganda Press will call Crowley "moderate".  They're lying.

Let's hope that Tiffany calls it like it is:  Crowley is another radical race-mongering anti-cop socialist.

David Crowley, the Milwaukee County executive who pulled off a stunning upset over the summer’s socialist surge, has blamed systemic racism for police shootings, opposed legislation to protect law enforcement, and declared Wisconsin the worst place in America to raise a black child....

And he's emphatic about it!  This, after the Jacob Blake (felon-in-possession/resisting) shooting:

...“Make no mistake, Blake’s wounds are the result of systemic racism, the policies and practices that entangle our institutions and produce racially disparate outcomes, regardless of the intentions of the people who work within them,” Crowley said. “It’s the reason why Wisconsin is ranked as the worst place to raise a black child, why child poverty in the Black community is markedly higher compared to their white counterparts, and why Milwaukee County ranks as 71st healthiest county out of 72 counties in the state.” ...

No small irony that Crowley yaps about "health" after hiring a DEI candidate to run the health-insurance program for Milwaukee County, which DEI candidate let the damn policy lapse for 30 days because..........stupidity.

And after securing a major tax-hike (sales tax enhancement) for the County, Crowley STILL runs a deficit while his public transport enterprise slowly goes totes Communist: pay more for less service and be happy, comrade.

Yes, there's more!  Crowley wants abortion as a Wisconsin Constitutional Right.  He wants (only) a $15.00 minimum wage.  (Moderate!!)  How about unlimited immigration and NEVER co-operate with ICE, even to remove criminals?  Force poor black children into continued (moderate) illiteracy?

So how shall we phrase this?

Moderately Incompetent and Racist!!

Trump-O-Nomics: Another Victory for Americans

Looky here!  Seems like Trump's economics benefit WORKING-CLASS Americans.

Ford Motor (F.N) plans to move production of some Lincoln models from China to the U.S. beginning in 2030,...

...Gasoline-powered cars and electric vehicles imported from China are subject to hefty duties. The U.S. tariff on the Lincoln Nautilus, the main vehicle Ford imports from China, is 52.5%...

Think Buick will move its Envision out of Red China?

Or is Mary Barra too pig-headed to do that?

FauciGrants Still Developing Killer Viruses

Fauci may have departed the Government, but his works continue to live!!

Shi Zhengli, the Chinese virologist whose years of bat coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology made her one of the most scrutinized scientists in the world after COVID-19, did not disappear.

She moved on to another powerful Chinese state laboratory, where she is now helping train a new generation of coronavirus researchers....

...A 2026 doctoral recruitment notice lists Shi as an adviser in pathogen biology with a research concentration explicitly described as “pathogen discovery/coronavirus.”

Another 2026 doctoral program, jointly operated by Guangzhou Laboratory and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, lists Shi as an adviser for “pathogen discovery and cross-species infection risk research.”...

Nice to know she/Shi is still working, no?

....In 2024, Shi was among the authors of a major Nature study titled “Design of customized coronavirus receptors”. Her affiliations on the paper included both the Wuhan Institute of Virology and Guangzhou Laboratory.

The study developed engineered receptors that allowed researchers to study a range of coronaviruses....

And the US taxpayer is still paying her!!  Sweet!!

...Its acknowledgments list multiple awards from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, including P01AI167966, DP1AI158186 and contract 75N93022C00036, along with NIH instrumentation grant S10OD032290. Those American awards were credited to University of Washington coronavirus researcher David Veesler.

NIH records identify P01AI167966 as an NIAID-supported University of Washington project. The Seattle Structural Genomics Center for Infectious Disease also identifies 75N93022C00036 as federal NIAID funding....

Natalie Winters is a gift to us all.  She finds this stuff.

Now..........where's that Rope & Tree with Fauci's name on it?

Sen. Kennedy Wins the Year!

Kennedy is a war-monger Senator.  But he has great lines.

Check this one:

...Republican Sen. John Kennedy unleashed on former Vice President Kamala Harris Monday, chiding the potential 2028 candidate for desperately cozying up to “Lulu Lenins” — unveiling a new nickname for democratic socialists that quickly went viral online....

That would be Francesca, alright.

TWO Measles Cases. DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM

Big Pharma pays the bills for Da Nooz, so two measly cases of measles (yup, I went there) are now BIG NEWS.

This is a nation of wimmins.

Crowley Eh? "Human Error", Eh?

Amusing.

Milwaukee's "central count" facility had a "human error" with its memory-sticks.

Then Crowley won.

Kroger to Americans: "Drop Dead"

Kroger (locally, Pick'N'Save and MetroMarket) just told 5,000 American IT peeps to drop dead.

Kroger, the largest operator of traditional supermarkets and a very large employer in Cincinnati, is moving their entire "capability" department to India.

They're doing it because a job that currently pays over $100,000 a year here in the United States pays under $40,000 a year in India.  This is likely to lead to 5,000 or more of those higher-paying jobs disappearing from Cincinnati and elsewhere across the country....

Meijer and Woodman's look better every day.

Babykiller Fauci

Not a surprise.  Fauci's babykilling is an integral component of Leftism.

...The actual spontaneous abortion rate for women vaccinated in the first trimester was a stunning 82%. However, the CDC and healthcare administrators manipulated the data adding 700 women vaccinated in the third trimester to improve the statistics.  ...

He'll get his own special corner of Hell.

"...But Muslims Hate You"

Surber is so damn good....

Here's a quote from his column of today.

... Eight years ago [Abdulrahman Mohamed El Sayed] sought the Democrat nomination for governor of Michigan. In a May 10, 2018, Michigan Press Association gubernatorial forum, Abdulrahman Mohamed El Sayed, said to Republican candidates, “You may not hate Muslims, but Muslims hate you.”...

Frankly, we've seen that in a Muslim (former) neighbor.  Never said it, but always had the look in his eye.

And that hatred is NOT reserved to only politicians of the Pubbie variety.

Hong Is a SCUZZY Nutbag

The Democrat Party of Wisconsin deserves Hong as their nominee.

One year before Wisconsin gubernatorial hopeful Francesca Hong called to "Cancel Thanksgiving" in October 2019, the socialist state representative, who is a professional chef, hosted an event she dubbed a "Feast of the Feminine," a "6course [sic] dinner inspired by menstruation." An invitation posted to the events website Eventbrite describes the "feast" as a "celebration of menstruation with conversation and dinner." It also lists a menu featuring on-theme ingredients like "Soondae-Korean blood sausage."...

We can't even......

The NFL's Greed Problem

Since the '60's, the NFL has been on a roll.  Lots more fans, lots more Big-Ass TeeeVee contracts, and lots more moola for the players.  (Today's minimum pay:  $800K/season.  In 1965, established and good players got about $12K/season, plus $200/pre-season game.  The DOL inflation calculator says it should be around $120-130K.)

But there are clouds on the horizon.  The NFL's gradual move to "fee-to-view" television instead of traditional over-the-air 'free with ads' is not popular.  The NFL's mimicking of Big Baseball's ultra-luxe stadiums-for-socializing is also drawing fire.

Especially in Buffalo.  Read the story.  You won't believe it.....

Silly, Stupid, or Subversive? America's Catholic Church

This damning essay by Cliff Kincaid popped up today, and it complements a discussion we are having with a friend about Communism.

The socialists are taking over the Democratic Party but they are already in firm control of the American branch of the Roman Catholic Church, which gave us “Obamacare,” the bankrupt health care scheme, and is now promoting open borders and LGBTQ ideology....

...I attended a local church in the Washington D.C. area on Sunday and heard prayerful “intentions” for the victims of “climate change-inducing” wildfires and Haitians being “forced” to return to Haiti. Both claims are part of the “progressive” playbook and designed to undermine the America First policies of the Trump Administration.

In the church bookstore I found a book, “A Home for All: A Catholic Call for LGBTQ Non-Discrimination.” The book’s back cover features an endorsement from retired Bishop Thomas Gumbleton of Detroit, who revealed that a priest molested him in the 1940s when he was a 15-year-old seminary student....

... A September 25-27 “pilgrimage” will seek “to bring together LGBTQ Catholics, allies and those who minister to them both in New York City and abroad” by praying at “important LGBTQ sites,” such as the Stonewall National Monument, the scene of anti-police riots at a Mafia-run gay bar....

The silly(?) stupid(?) subversive(?) claims about "climate" and "refugees" undermine science and common sense, respectively.  Kincaid reminds us that the Communist government of Haiti came to be in 1986.  That was Clinton-era, and we'll bet a dollar that it was the Deep State/CIA that fomented the revolution making that happen.  (Knowing Hillary, that meant that the new Government of Haiti lined the Clinton Foundation's Hillary's pockets with millions of dollars.)

The Archdiocese in question is run by +Joseph Lori, who has a reputation as a 'moderate,' in contrast to, say, Cdl. "Cupcake" Cupich of Chicago or the horrible, terrible, disaster called +McElroy in D.C.

Kincaid also reminds us that the Church officially tolerates the most pro-homosex Jesuit in the world.

...A September 25-27 “pilgrimage” will seek “to bring together LGBTQ Catholics, allies and those who minister to them both in New York City and abroad” by praying at “important LGBTQ sites,” such as the Stonewall National Monument, the scene of anti-police riots at a Mafia-run gay bar. ...

To get around to that email convo with a pal......

Following the latest outburst of Communism (the DSA) in Wisconsin and nationally, we mentioned that in the Good Old Days--only a half-dozen decades ago--the Catholic Church was unalterably opposed to Communism, and often said so.  The most articulate opponent was Bp. Fulton Sheen, but popular reading materials, priests, and Catholic childrens' books were filled with anti-Commie materials.  There was a very good reason for that:  Communism is atheistic.  Period.  Full stop.  All the other evils of Communism, including its Statist penchant for mass murder, flow from that foundation.

Maybe it's just co-incidence, but a few events happening at more-or-less the same time drew down the curtain on the Church's anti-Communism.  + Jos. Bernardin (of Windswept House fame) became the CEO of the United States Catholic Conference.  Vatican II happened.  And LBJ signed legislation which--arguably--prevented churches from preaching about "politics."  (The legislation is totes un-Constitutional and flat-out ignored by "progressive" denominations, but....)

My pal and I remembered the work of Fr. Cletus Healy, SJ, who published thousands of tracts on the evil that is Communism (The Truth About Communism) and was shunned by nearly every other Jesuit for his trouble; in effect, he was a hermit within his own community.

Clearly, the Church was off the rails, and needs a good kick in the ass from the Faithful.  Write your Bishop and let him know that it's about damn time for his priests to blow the smoke of Satan out of the Church.

Your children will thank you for it.
