Finding Justice? It's in Florida

Note well the location of the insurance company.

The Trump administration has made new criminal referrals to the Department of Justice targeting New York Attorney General Letitia James, Fox News has confirmed.

The referrals, submitted by Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte, allege potential insurance fraud tied to properties linked to James and have been sent to U.S. attorneys in Florida and, reportedly, Illinois for review....

... In one of the criminal referrals, Pulte said it appears that James "may have falsified information on her homeowners insurance application" to a Fort Lauderdale-based company, Universal Property Insurance....

It is  impossible to obtain actual justice against a Democrat in D.C., Virginia, New York, California, and northern Illinois.

But it IS possible in Florida, which explains not only this case, but the "Grand Conspiracy" case against Jack Smith, Comey, Brennan, (et.al.) being brought in Florida.

Yes!!  We will finally have the orange-jumpsuit perp-walks, featuring manacles and chains!!

Can we get rope-tree-some-assembly-required next??

Kill Student, Get $30K (FREE!!) Medical Care

It's not likely that Illinois residents will change their voting habits, no matter how much incentive they have.

...infuriating to many Americans is the case involving the suspect in the murder of Sheridan Gorman, Jose Medina, an illegal alien from Venezuela.

Medina failed to appear in court because he was receiving treatment for tuberculosis, treatment reportedly costing taxpayers nearly $30,000....

TdA slimebucket murders the girl as part of his TdA initiation.

Can't get to arraignment because Illinois taxpayers are forking up free healthcare--for HIM.

There is a reason that  we refer to Illinois people as FIB's.

Trump Pushes Deep State Spy-on-YOU Tool

 This is MAGA??

President Donald Trump on Wednesday asked Congress to pass a clean reauthorization of a critical—but controversial—spying authority as the U.S. military operation in Iran continues.

“I have called for a clean 18-month extension,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, noting that Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-S.D.) and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) are working toward passing such a bill.

Specifically, Trump is asking Congress to extend the authorities in Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), a sweeping War on Terror-era spying authority that has seen wide abuse by federal intelligence agencies in the past.

Section 702 targets intelligence from foreign nationals thought to be outside the United States. Yet, it also enables intelligence agencies to gather information from Americans who are in contact with targeted non-U.S. persons—all without a warrant....

Lemmeesee, heah, Gomer:

He throws gobs of taxpayer money into the World-Corruption-Champion Ukraine.

He throws MORE gobs of money into the money-pit known as the Middle East, supporting a country who has made it clear that they want to expand "their" territory by several hundred percent (and is using the US as its tip of the spear).

He spends money like a drunken sailor, increasing national debt to nearly $1 Zillion.

Now he decides that No-Warrant Spying on US citizens is just fine and dandy with him.

In Tucker's last monologue, he mentioned that war-time Presidents tend to rescind Constitutional rights.  He mentioned the internment of US citizens who happened to be of Japanese descent.  He could have mentioned Lincoln's decision to suspend habeas and to muzzle the press.

Really?  MAGA????

Poll: Americans Dislike "Excessive" Middle East Involvement

Levin, Graham, Benny-Boy, Netanyahu, and Miriam Adelson won't like this.

...As the war launched by the U.S. and Israel continues in its fourth week, the survey from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research indicates that while President Donald Trump’s approval rating is holding steady, the conflict could be swiftly turning into a major political liability for his Republican administration.

While Trump is deploying more warships and troops to the Middle East, about 59% of Americans say U.S. military action in Iran has been excessive....

.....yet, according to the White House, "98% of MAGA voters approve."

Which "MAGA voters"?  The ones working in the White House?

ICE=TSA? Genius?? Not Really

It's not hard to tell that the White House put out mandatory talking points about placing ICE agents into airports where TSA is under-manned.

"It's a GENIUS MOVE!!!"  "ICE is nice to old ladies!!"  "ICE hands out water!!!"  "PR supreme!!!"

Any 'conservative' news outlet you chose, including those on X, parroted those lines at least once.

Not because it IS a "genius PR move."  It's not.

Not because any of them believed that bullshit.  They don't.

It's what they were told to say.

Does ICE screen passengers?  Luggage?

Nope.

They walk about, being nice.  Maybe they solve traffic problems with the long lines.

And yes, the Democrats (and two or three brain-dead Republicans) are the real problem here.

But pure bullshit talking points?

How's that ground-war going in Lebanon?  Spreading to Kargh Island soon?

A Warning to Wisconsin Catholics

We don't think that Catholic AWFLs and their spouses who are key to the elections of Wisconsin Supreme Court justices will heed this warning, but here goes.

... So how can someone who claims to be a Catholic, who attends Mass regularly and takes Communion, possibly support the demonic evil represented by today’s Democrat (they’re not democratic) party?  If he doesn’t want to vote for a Republican, should he vote for a third-party candidate, or simply abstain?

In Catholic moral theology, the question of how a faithful Catholic should vote — especially when major candidates endorse intrinsic evils — requires careful discernment of cooperation with evil and proportionate reasons.  Formal cooperation with evil is never permissible.  It occurs when one directly intends and wills the evil act itself, such as voting for a candidate precisely because of his support for grave moral wrongs like abortion or euthanasia.  This renders the voter guilty of the evil and unworthy to receive Holy Communion.  I would go so far as to say that such a position should result in excommunication.  Can a person holding such views be considered a Catholic, or a devout Christian?

Material cooperation, by contrast, is indirect and remote.  A Catholic who rejects a candidate’s immoral positions but votes for him for other reasons engages only in remote material cooperation.  This can be morally licit when “proportionate reasons” exist — grave moral considerations that outweigh the evil tolerated. Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (later Pope Benedict XVI) clarified this in his 2004 memorandum: A vote for such a candidate would be formal cooperation “if he were to deliberately vote for a candidate precisely because of the candidate’s permissive stand on abortion and/or euthanasia,” but it becomes permissible remote material cooperation “in the presence of proportionate reasons.”

Proportionate reasons must be exceptionally weighty, especially for high offices that shape laws affecting millions of lives.  They are not mere policy preferences or partisan loyalty, but genuine attempts to limit greater harm, such as choosing the candidate less likely to advance intrinsic evils like abortion on a massive scale.  The U.S. bishops’ “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship” echoes this: Catholics may vote for a flawed candidate only for “truly grave moral reasons,” not narrow interests....

Let's make this clear:  voting for the pro-abortion SCOWI candidate--if you are Catholic--puts your soul in immediate grave danger of going to Hell.

We've seen two abortion-elections to SCOWI in the last three years, and there is no question that "Catholic" women--and perhaps their husbands--were critical to those abominations.

Sadly, you will not find Catholic priests and Bishops making this point.

They have no balls.

Patel's Problem and Ours: S.702

We are not particularly enamored with "Party-Boy" Patel, but Trump trusts him, so we got him.  What we post here is another very good reason to oppose S.702, which allowed this utter travesty to happen.  Remember:  this can (and probably WILL) happen to you, too.

Last Refuge provides a reality check on both the FBI and what seems to be Patel's slow-walk.  Here's the text and the image.  The concluding graf is posted first; the lead-up and CC of the subpoena follows.

 [Quoting Hans Manche:]

“It didn’t just ask for Kash Patel’s phone records, it asked for everything he did from 2020 to 2023. Just to name a few, they requested all usernames and screen names, every address and email, complete billing and payment details including credit card and bank account numbers, every device ID, and a full log of every call, text, and voicemail showing who was contacted, when, and for how long. They also obtained all internet session data, including the exact IP addresses. So, this wasn’t just about who Kash called. It was basically a complete view of his entire life, mapping his daily routines, travel, relationships, finances, and even tracking the specific hardware he used. In short, they got a full digital shadow of his life.”

Yep, that’s how the FBI operates.

That’s how the FBI establishes leverage against anyone they view against their interests.

... Many people have wondered why FBI Director Kash Patel seems compromised since he took office.  Well, the FBI subpoena into then civilian Kash Patel, highlights the extent of the FBI operation as they gathered background intelligence that could be used for blackmail and leverage over the eventual FBI Director....

"More Equal" = Members of Congress

 Another demonstration of not-really-equal-treatment.

Due to the Democrat shutdown,...

...Delta said members of Congress will now be treated like every other passenger until the shutdown is over. Members of Congress were previously given escorts at airports and received specialized customer service....

...Congress members will still have access to the Capital Desk, which helps members book trips at government rates, make last-minute changes and reserve seats on multiple flights on the same day, according to the New York Times. ...

So members of Congress are only somewhat more equal than the hoi polloi.

Gotcha.

Fairness and Balance

See the below post for the 'con' side of the war.

This is the 'pro' side, from Childers:

...Iran isn’t a Trump vanity project waged to satisfy Israeli politicians. Iran is the single pressure point making peace possible on every global front simultaneously.

Nobody is describing the chessboard, even though all the pieces are sitting right there.

The “allies rebuke Trump” story gets 100 headlines; whereas the 22-country reversal gets a brief wire plug. Macron says “never” on Tuesday; France, Germany, and the UK sign on Friday. The Palestinian Authority condemns Iran and embraces Saudi Arabia while keeping studiously silent about the American and Israeli strikes. Trump’s Board of Peace deals with Hamas and signs up the United Nations while the world watches Iranian bomb footage.

The Financial Times declares Ukraine peace talks fizzled on Monday; Witkoff posts updates from active negotiations on Saturday, while a frantic Zelensky rushes to Washington experiencing very bad feelings. European voters stare at $9 gas and wonder why they’re still funding someone else’s war. NATO allies who pledged their Patriot batteries to Kyiv now realize those batteries might be all that stands between their own capitals and a demonstrated Iranian IRBM.

And nobody asks what any of it means. The corporate media won’t tell you any of this because it might make Trump look good. Trump isn’t talking either, because (1) it would tip his hand, and (2) he wouldn’t get decent coverage anyway, so why bother? But it is becoming crystal clear that Iran is the linchpin in a global puzzle box that includes forcing NATO to the table; ending the Ukraine war; brokering permanent Middle East peace; yes, protecting Israel; giving Palestinians a real shot with real money behind it; and all the while making historically good deals for America....

The long version is at the link.

We'll see how it plays out.  Childers doesn't mention the "Israel Wild-Card" possibilities, perhaps for a good reason.

Who the Hell Is Driving This Car Into the Briar Patch?

It appears that the car could go off the cliff and leave the US in a briar patch.

President Donald Trump’s dispute with unnamed Israeli officials appeared to come to an end as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu admitted his country “acted alone” in its attack on the Iranian South Pars gas field. Prior to Netanyahu’s statement, anonymous Israeli officials told the press that the American government actually had advance knowledge of the Israeli attack after Trump himself said the U.S. did not know about the operation.

Israel’s strike on the gas field prompted Iran to retaliate against Qatar. According to Trump, Qatar was also unaware that the Israeli attack would take place. While Netanyahu promised to “hold off on future attacks,” the dispute highlights growing concern about a lack of a unified chain of command in the Israel-U.S. war with Iran....

The US and Israel have different objectives.  To the extent that Israel can cause trouble--such as bombing Iranian territory, thus creating more trouble for the US and its allies, and the energy infrastructure on which a big chunk of the world's population depends........

You see?

We also know that Israel loves to knock off Iranian 'leaders.'

So who the Hell is going to turn off the Iranian armed forces?  Dead leaders?  No.

Israel has a strategic objective there:  The more chaos Israel causes in Iran, the better it is for Israel, which will have unfettered ability to create its "Greater Zion".  And the US will be mired in the briar patch, helplessly helping.

Great

De Mortuis Nil Nisi Bonum??

Yah, well, no one "spoke well" of Stalin when he died, except his comrades-in-killing.

Mueller?

He was a rat, a liar, and a conspirator against the US.

His meet-up with St Peter...........well..........it's possible that Mueller confessed his sins and repented.

That's as far as we can go.

Secret Service Agent for Butler F***ks Up--Again!!

The Secret Service agent who drew up the security plans for Trump's Butler, PA, appearance makes the news again--and not in a good way.

She was suspended for a time after Butler, but came back to duty, then off again, then on again, then.....

...The Secret Service agent who was in charge of developing and executing the failed security plan for the 2024 rally where President Trump was nearly killed has been suspended and is under internal agency investigation for allegedly improperly reporting her relationship with and eventual marriage to a foreign national, several sources told RealClearPolitics.

This suspension is the third one in a year and a half for the agent, Myosoty “Miyo” Perez,...

That "Brazilian national" is a deliberate camouflage tactic by Real Clear Politics.  Read on--closely:

...Perez quietly married a Brazilian foreign national last April without notifying the agency, according to a copy of her marriage certificate located on the Brevard County public records website and according to sources familiar with the timing of when she informed the agency of her marriage. Upon learning of the marriage, the agency suspended her and issued an internal “Do Not Admit” notice.

The internal Secret Service investigation is examining whether the woman Perez was dating and married last year had overstayed her visa and was facing a deportation order...

Now you know why the first quoted graf "sanitized" the marriage.

DEI, ya'know!!

Reality Sucks, Eh?

Raises the question of "How do we get it back?"

R.I.P, Chuck

The television series was ......... not subtly written.  But it was fun to watch!

The Polls vs. The War

Certain "news" outlets have trumpeted the absurd notion that '98% of MAGA voters support the war in Iran.'  Needless to say, that number was pushed out by the White House.

Doesn't take more than 5 seconds' thought to realize that that number is ludicrous.  Perhaps 98% of Lindsey Graham supports it.....or 98% of Likud.  But that poll is grievously flawed.

What's the reality?

Seventy-nine percent of Americans who voted for President Trump in 2024 would support him declaring victory in Iran and quickly ending this war, according to a new poll....

Oh.

...fewer than half of Trump voters surveyed said they strongly supported the U.S. decision to go to war with Iran (40%), 23% of Trump voters were somewhat or strongly opposed to it. And the emerging division among Trump voters over Iran is evident in the poll’s age crosstabs: while Trump voters overall support the Iran war by a +53 point margin, support is much more muted among young MAGA voters that are credited with helping deliver Trump the White House in 2024. Trump voters aged 18-29 support the war by a much narrower margin (+8), while Trump voters aged 30-49 support the war by +26 points....

There are those who think Trump is actually making huge moves on the chessboard which will result in the Europeans having to foot the bill for the free flow of oil and re-working alliances in the Middle East to isolate Persia/Iran.

Maybe.  But maybe religion plays a much more significant role in alliances than Trump (and the old NeoCons) thinkMaybe the Muslims will coalesce......against Israel.

Meantime, he's committed another 2500 Marines.

"Meet Your New President!!"

Stolen directly from Flopping Aces, here is the real 2021-2025 chief executive introducing his "successor"

The CIA vs. Motherhood

No, we are not kidding with that title.  This is the party of Tony Evers and most of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

...Biden’s CIA connected traditional motherhood to violent extremism. The report red-flagged organizations that “lauded motherhood and homemaking as women’s most important responsibility” and noted this resulted in “an increased number of female recruits.” Sinister recruits in sundresses.

Motherhood and homemaking. As threat indicators. I am not making this up.

What ‘violent extremism’ related to motherhood, you ask? I’m glad you asked. The Assessment darkly explained the terrifying threat of violence posed by “some white REMVE-sympathetic women who have produced blogs, videos, or other online content under the guise of cooking tutorials, which feature discussions about the importance of organic food alongside subtle narratives about racial purity and the defense of white European heritage.”...

Think of it.  WE PAID a dozen or so shit-for-brains college graduates to write a CIA terrorism report on women who praise motherhood.  And we paid them well.  And they will get pensions and lifetime healthcare from our children.

"Did what they were told"?  Don't make me puke.  They took the money, didn't they?

Lying Sack Crenshaw Loves Peeping On You!

Crenshaw--deservedly tossed out of office--plays word-games with Party-Boy Patel about Section 702 (We Spy On YOU!!) use by FBI.

As usual, Last Refuge has the goods along with a video of Lying Sack Crenshaw's "grilling"....

...conveniently omitted in the questioning is the original surveillance of the 2016 GOP candidates from November 2015 through April 2016 that did involve exploitation of the database under the justification that FISA-702 creates....

...You are [....] correct that there is no “authority granted under 702” to conduct surveillance.  However, in 2016 conducting surveillance using 702 as a justification is what took place.

The collection of American citizen metadata does factually take place. At this point no-one denies it.

That data is then stored in a searchable database, a library of U.S. citizen data colloquially known as the “NSA database”.

Within the NSA database that metadata collection creates, there is a process to search it based on “identifiers.”

The collection of data, the database itself, as well as the search functioning therein, is part of the toolbox for FISA-702 surveillance....

...The historic problem is not that “authorities granted under FISA-702” were/are used to conduct surveillance; but rather the search of the NSA collection database was done, illegally and frequently, for non-authorized reasons. The capability to conduct those search queries is maintained by justifying the need for FISA-702.

The historic searches and domestic surveillance were done by exploiting the NSA database, for a reason and purpose that is not authorized and has nothing to do with FISA-702. THAT’S THE PROBLEM

"Peeping Toms" Party-Boy and Crenshaw love that S702.  Make sure your Congress-critter knows that you despise it, and anyone who votes to retain it.

BTW--in case you forgot--Peeping Tom Crenshaw also hates the Second Amendment. And he used Nancy's cookbook for self-enrichment.  So it's no surprise that he likes looking into your wife's underwear drawer, too....

The Schimel Judge-Pout Session

First, a short recap:

Brad Schimel will remain leading the U.S. Attorney's Office in Milwaukee, but under a different title, his office said Wednesday afternoon, after federal judges declined to make him the permanent U.S. attorney.

Attorney General Pam Bondi appointed Schimel First Assistant United States Attorney, which grants him authority to continue to lead the office despite no U.S. Senate confirmation or approval from federal judges. Schimel said his role and responsibilities will largely remain unchanged....

The Federal "judges" who bounced Schimel out of the USAttorney job did it for one reason, and one reason only:

They were avenging Trump's prosecution of ex-judge Hannah Dugan, a convicted felon.

IOW, those "adult", "role-model" black-robed "justice-renderers" were having a 13-year-old girl Pout Session and they decided to get their revenge by blocking Schimel, Article Two be damned.

This is a hint that even Lynn Adelman, the most-crazed Lefty on the Wisconsin federal bench, can not find a way to invalidate Dugan's conviction.

So there's that.

Trash "Food"? Not With Food Stamps in WI!

You may have noticed that the price of snack and soda pop has been decreasing in Wisconsin.

They're going to go down more in the near future.

...The Senate also voted to send Evers a bill banning the use of state FoodShare benefits for the purchase of candy and soft drink products.

Evers' office indicated Tuesday the governor will sign the bill because of funding Republicans attached to the proposal....

This is interesting:

... The bill cleared the Senate by a 25-8 vote. Each of the "no" votes were from Democrats. Seven Democrats joined all 18 Republicans in backing the measure....

Didn't think we'd see that!

Now the question is this:  which 8 Democrats voted to poison their future voters?

Kent Quits. Trump Acts Like 2-Year-Old

Joe Kent quits his job as counter-terrorism director.

Trump calls him 'stupid.'

This is the same Trump who told us that Iran's nuke program was "OBLITERATED," and then commenced bombing the daylights out of Iran because its nuke program was 'able to make and deliver nukes' in 60 days or so.

Maybe Trump--and his handlers--think everyone is "stupid"?

Venezuela and Cuba?  They are on 'our ranch.'

Ukraine and Israel?  Not so much.

Trump has been played, he knows it, and now he goes the 2-year-old route:  call names.

Makes all the good things he did fade into the distance.

Bp. Seitz's False Analogies, Slanders, and Mendacity

This is what you'd expect from +Seitz.  The Pillar interviewed him about the immigration problem.

Your Excellency, many Catholics who support Trump’s mass deportation policies say those policies are a matter of justice: If people are in this country illegally, justice demands that they be removed.  But in your pastoral message, you say, ‘It is an injustice to make families, children, and the vulnerable pay the price of our inaction’ on immigration reform.  These are two very different understandings of justice. How should we think about that?

Well there has to be some proportionality to our response to a particular case in which a law has been in some way violated. We recognize that in our everyday life. If we’re driving and the police officer pulls us over because we were going over the speed limit, we’d say, “Oh, well, that’s unfortunate we were caught,” and we’ll pay the fine, I suppose.

But if the police officer were to say, “You were going five miles over the speed limit and I’m going to throw you into jail,” we would say, “That’s just not right.” We’d even recognize within that law about speeding that there are situations in which the violation of that law should not be considered an offense. If, for instance, we’re driving someone who is bleeding to the hospital, we would, within certain reason hopefully, go above the speed limit. Now, speed limits are a reasonable law and going too fast can be dangerous, but we recognize proportionality based upon the circumstances. ...

Illegal presence here, which is almost always accompanied by drawing at least one form of welfare OR, in many instances, criminal activity (not to mention hijacking a job and housing from US citizens) is simply not the equivalent of a speeding ticket.

+Seitz drew that comparison specifically to minimize illegal immigration and to throw a halo around the perps.  It is not hard to be empathetic with those caught in a "speed violation."

Seitz's mendacity continues.

... it seems like sometimes there really is a bloodthirst today in general, and that’s certainly the case with people that have only done exactly what you or I or any of us would’ve done in similar circumstances. If we found ourselves in a situation where our family was threatened and perhaps a family member had been killed, we would do whatever we needed to do in order to protect our family, including crossing an international boundary, if that’s what was necessary....

We have yet to encounter anyone who opposes illegal immigration AND is "bloodthirsty."  Seitz's rhetoric here is a standard Leftist tactic right out of Alinsky's Rule 12:   Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy."

The US has an extremely generous "refugee" immigrant position.  Of course, that "refugee" cannot merely cross the border; he/she must show up at an INS-patrolled entry, fill out the forms, and be interviewed.  The INS determines whether that individual is telling the truth; if so, they are admitted BUT with a date-certain to 'refresh' their status.

Most often, the immigrant 1)  is NOT a refugee; 2) NOT entering through an INS checkpoint; and 3)  never bothers to 'check back in' on schedule.

Not content with throwing mud at people who oppose illegal immigration, +Seitz advises the interviewer that he and Christ are on the same page.

....but it’s a time in which people would do well to read the Gospel more and reflect upon it, and then listen to the teaching of the Church, which has developed over 2,000 years in fidelity to the Gospel to help us see how our particular actions relate to the Gospel or do not.

The Church is here to teach, and the magisterium is here to teach, and it’s not always going to reflect the view of society in general. Jesus’ teaching was rejected by the majority, perhaps, of the people in his time....

Yes, well....that's because those people were looking for a CIVIL leader, not a Head of a Church.  Here, +Seitz reverses the field, implying that Church teaching should be mimicked by CIVIL law.  We can all agree that civil law should follow natural law, but Seitz papers over the critical distinction between 'natural law' and Church teachings.

More to the point, +Seitz "forgot" to mention that St. John Paul II was emphatic:  countries are allowed to set and enforce laws about immigration.  Period.  Full Stop.  And he cannot point to that verse from Scripture in which Jesus says "Let them all in!!"  That's because there IS no such verse.

There's more of his prattling at the link, if you care to read it.

We don't.

Trump Speaks for Bibi!!

One wonders if Netanyahu is the actual occupant of the White House.

President Donald Trump claimed in a social media post Friday night that Iran planned to take over the Middle East and eliminate Israel, which is now futile after the United States and Israel attacked the country. ...

Based on "Greater Zion" yappings, Trump got it precisely reversed.

Catholic Teaching on Israel/Zion

This is a succinct and comprehensive summary of Catholic teaching on the Zion/Israel controversy.  It is the same position that Carrie Prejean Boller.

Catholics are being positioned as the enemy, and our teachings are being strategically and publicly misrepresented as “antisemitism”.

1. Jesus Christ fulfilled the Old Testament temple (John 2:19-21: "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up" referring to His body).

2. With the fulfillment of the covenant, the Church is “God’s Israel” (Galatians 6)

 3. A physical Third Temple, if ever built, would not restore valid sacrifices (Christ's sacrifice on the Cross was once-for-all, Hebrews 9-10).

4. Attempts to rebuild it are seen as misguided and even antichristic in spirit (rejecting Christ's fulfillment and end of sacrifices), with some historical precedents like Emperor Julian the Apostate's failed effort viewed as a type of Antichrist activity. Prominent voices (such as Fr. Chad Ripperger) argue the temple will never be rebuilt, as Christ ended the old sacrificial system.

5. The temple is the place where they made the animal sacrifices. Those are no longer necessary.

6. Only God knows the day of Revelation. (Matthew 24:36)

7. Followers of Christ are the new chosen people, grafted into the line of Abraham. (Roman’s 11:17)

 8. No bloodline is ranked above another anymore. (Romans 3:22)

 9. All are welcome in the church, with repentance, baptism, and a belief that Jesus is Lord. Jews and Gentiles alike. (Roman’s 3:22)

10. Vatican documents that interpret and expand upon the Catechism's teachings clarify that the existence of the State of Israel should be viewed strictly through the lens of international law, and not a religious or theological perspective as Jesus Christ fulfilled the covenants. Terms met.

A number of politicians disagree.  That is their right, of course.

But it is NOT their right to screech "ANTI-SEMITE" at those who hold to this teaching.

But they do it, because their paymasters demand it.  And because they really don't have the intellectual firepower to work their way through the arguments--and if they did, they would lose their Scofield-Protty supporters, too.

Then they would have to find real jobs......

+ Dolan, + Barron: Gutless Wonders ??

Over the last week or so, more and more has been published regarding the "firing" of Carrie Prejean Boller from the "Religious Freedom" Council established by Trump.

Ms. Boller states that her removal was due solely to her objections to Zionist/Israeli actions in Gaza--that is, causing 67,000 people to die there during IDF bombardments.

After screeching from the Usual Suspects, including a woman preacher and a has-been named Dan Patrick, Trump fired her.  That's bad enough, and adds some fuel to the growing fire that perhaps Trump is owned by the Zionists.  (See the post below this, e.g.)

Two other members of the Commission have--so far--failed to raise public objections.  They are Cardinal Dolan of NYC and Bishop Barron of Winona-Rochester Diocese.  We all know that +Dolan is merely a politician.  +Barron, on the other hand, has earned some respect for hewing to the Roman Catholic faith.

However, +Barron did equivocate on camera once:  when in conversation with Ben Shapiro regarding the path to salvation (which is the Church.)

Hmmmmm.

Another 5K Marines to Middle East

Reported about 30 minutes ago, 5,000 Marines sent to Middle East.  Relocating them from off Venezuela shores.

Hmmm.

Iran Still Firing for Effect

We were told that we have won this war.

Iran is launching sea drones against oil tankers

At least three oil tanker ships have been struck by Iran in the Gulf overnight, one off the coast of the UAE and two off Basra, Iraq. We have some images of one of the strikes in Iraq and they are very dramatic, with a huge fireball filling the air....

A China-owned tanker was also hit, as was one owned by Greeks.

This cannot be.

We have won this war, remember?  Iran is almost out of missiles, rockets, and drones, remember?  The US Navy is going to protect tankers, remember?  And the US TAXPAYER will be serving as the insurer, remember?  Their nukes program is obliterated, remember?

“Well, it’s both [an excursion and a war]… An excursion will keep us out of a war, and the war is going to be – for them it’s a war. For us it’s turned out to be easier than we thought,” Trump said

Was Trump played by some foreign country?  A tiny POS country which wants Iran turned into rubble, just like it wants Lebanon turned into rubble, sorta like Gaza?

And all their families, cattle, and farms, too.....

Vote Fraud, US Attorneys, and "Clean" Wisconsin

In the middle of a story about massive voter-registration fraud, we find this:

...Dhillon revealed there are dozens more noncitizens who DOJ has confirmed voted illegally, but those cases have not yet been prosecuted because the U.S. Senate has not confirmed U.S. attorneys in many jurisdictions.

"For every person that we've seen a story about, I know of dozens and dozens more cases, and U.S. attorney's offices are wanting to bring these cases, but we have, of course, interference with the very appointment of these U.S. attorneys at the political level," she explained. "So that's above my pay grade, but it's really frustrating that we're being prevented from doing our job....

As you know, Sen. Baldwin has blocked confirmation of Brad Schimel as the US Attorney in Wisconsin.  And Tony Evers will not release Wisconsin's voter data.  And Milwaukee County is making up fantasies about 'exposing' voters to public scrutiny if absentee ballots are in  the possession of the FBI.

All of that is sheer coincidence, of course.

Milwaukee, Dane, Brown, Kenosha, and Racine counties are the five cleanest counties in the entire USA.  Just ask Tony Evers, the cleanest Governor in the USA.

Yup.

Rate the Democrats: "Horrible"

A poll from NBC, no less.

While JDVance, Trump, and Republicans are underwater, the Democrats are FAR MORE underwater.

Maybe they should re-think their fanatic love of Trans-ists, Illegals, and Criminals?

They're not that bright.

That Thing That Cannot Happen.....Oooops!

In Pennsylvania.

A noncitizen illegally present in the U.S. allegedly cast ballots in five presidential elections and falsely claimed to be a citizen when registering to vote, according to a document recently filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

An affidavit by FBI Special Agent Mickel McGann reveals that Mauritanian national Mahady Sacko was ordered to be deported in 2000. Since this removal order, however, records show Sacko voted in general elections in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2020, as well as the 2024 election for federal office, McGann said. Sacko also voted in the 2016 and 2020 primaries and, on each of the seven occasions, “falsely represented that he was a U.S. citizen,”...

Tony Evers assures us that nothing like this could ever happen in Wisconsin.  He is backed up by the Wisconsin Elections Board, a citadel of rectitude and justice.

Feel better??

Biden Under the Hot Lights Soon

Actually, it won't be Biden.  Not directly, anyway.  But he will be THE topic soon.

White House counsel David Warrington wrote Monday in a letter addressed to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and obtained by Fox News Digital that Trump "does not uphold the former President’s assertion of privilege" over records sought in four congressional probes. The letter directs NARA to provide the materials to Congress.

The dispute centers on documents related to investigations into Biden’s health, alleged politically motivated probes into Trump and his allies, and the Biden family’s financial dealings, which Republicans argue go to the heart of Congress’s constitutional authority to conduct oversight.  --RedState quoting Fox News

This will not really be fun, as it will make clear the criminal misdeeds of Those In Power; it will be another Fauci moment.

But painful as it may be, it's like surgery:  afterwards, the country will be better for it.

The Covenant's Conditions: Broken

We are reminded that even if Gen. 12's verse refers to Israel (not to Abraham himself), there are a few more words which the Dispensationalists such as Cruz and Huckabee ignore.

Those words are "the conditions" of the Covenant that those folks think gives the Zionists clear title to most of the Middle East.

What are those conditions?

... But if thou wilt not hear the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep and to do all his commandments and ceremonies, which I command thee this day, all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee… the Lord will bring upon thee all the diseases, and plagues, that are not written in the volume of this law till he consume thee:  And you shall remain few in number, who before were as the stars of heaven for multitude, because thou heardst not the voice of the Lord thy God. And as the Lord rejoiced upon you before doing good to you, and multiplying you: so he shall rejoice destroying and bringing you to nought, so that you shall be taken away from the land which thou shalt go in to possess.  The Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the farthest parts of the earth to the ends thereof: and there thou shalt serve strange gods, which both thou art ignorant of and thy fathers, wood and stone.  Neither shalt thou be quiet, even in those nations, nor shall there be any rest for the sole of thy foot. (Deuteronomy 28-29)...

When Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well that divine worship would no longer be held at the Temple, He meant itThat's because most of Israel refused to 'hear the voice of the Lord' in Christ.  They still do.

Thus ended that covenant--and the Temple with it.

Then followed all the curses that you see in the Deut. quote above.

Zionism is political, NOT religious, no matter what you may hear from heretics and politicians.  The Abrahamic Covenant is dead, dead, dead--just as the Lord said.

Trump Wins at the 7th Circuit

Some looney-tunes Canadian-born (yup) "judge"-ette in Chicago just got a monumental smackdown from the 7th Circuit.

A panel of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals scorched a Canadian-born, Obama-appointed judge for her heavy-handed and illegal imposition of operating procedures on all federal officers operating in Illinois. The majority opinion said the order imposed by Judge Sara Ellis, "impermissibly infringes on separation of powers principles. It effectively established the district court as the supervisor of all Executive Branch activity in the city of Chicago."...

Details at the link.

ARTICLE TWO, SENTENCE ONEPerhaps the dumbass Ellis should have read the United States Constitution instead of whatever the Hell they use in Canada.

What's the Matter With Rep. Neylon??

Anyone who has undergone the torture of 1) finding a testing station and 2) waiting nearly forever to get their car through the test must be asking "How long, Lord??"

If you're (R) Rep. Adam Neylon and all Democrats except Ortiz-Velez, the response is apparently "I don't care!"

State Reps. Bob Donovan and Sylvia Ortiz Velez are among a group of legislators who are fighting to end emission testing in Wisconsin....

... In addition to Donovan, Ortiz-Velez, and Piwowarczyk, the December 2025 letter was signed by state Sens. Van Wanggaard, Julian Bradley, Chris Kapenga, and Rob Hutton; Reps. Scott Allen, Lindee Brill, Barb Dittrich, Cindi Duchow, Rick Gundrum, Dan Knodl, Dave Maxey, Paul Melotik, Chuck Wichgers, Robert Wittke, and Amanda Nedweski....

Did the dog eat Neylon's homework?  Was he afflicted with CoVid for a couple of weeks?

Inquiring minds, and all that.....

Illinois, Again

 Somewhat convoluted story here.

Ignore the headline; just go to this:

...At the crash scene, a deputy found the driver of the car involved. Court filings identified the driver as Barrios Alvarez and noted she did not speak English, so a Waukesha police officer came to the scene to translate....

... She provided an Illinois driver's license and proof of insurance....

Can't speak English, obtains Illinois driver's license.

Iranian Leaders' Serial Deaths

Last week, Trump told the press that 'all the Iranians we wanted to talk to about a surrender are dead.'  That followed an aerial assault on Tehran.

Two days ago, a new Iranian leader (son of the old one) was targeted and killed 4 hours after his election.

Now Iran has another leader.

If this guy assumes room temperature very soon, the pattern becomes obvious:  someone wants these 'leaders' dead so Trump can NOT negotiate surrender.

IOW, "someone" wants to continue this war until not one stone sits on another in Iran.

Hmmmmm.

Really? CHINA Is the Point in Iran?

For those of you who think that the Propaganda Never Ends........you are correct.

A woman associated with Breitbart (and Hannity) asserts that this Iran thing is actually targeting Red China.  This will come as a surprise to the thousands of dead Iranians including the schoolchildren.

This is classic mis-direction propaganda.  Yes, there is a deleterious effect on China, and Trump may well have that in mind; he is squeezing Red China in South and Central America, too.

But "primarily"??

Be serious, please.

Over the last week, and going forward, you will see all sorts of mis-direction propaganda emerging as the war continues, especially since Trump is openly toying with committing US boots on the ground over there.

Another example:  the 'report' that the Ayatollah engineered the Butler attempt on Trump's life.  Fine--except that there is ZERO publicly-available evidence of that charge AND the person who is telling that tale is.........ahh..........unreliable.  Or how about "RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA"?  After all, RUSSIA is the leading enemy, right??

And if you are *shocked* that Breitbart ran this story.........well...........

How About Religion?

Utterly NOT-remarkable essay excerpted at Ace's place.

... the Iranian Revolution of 1979 posed a challenge even more unsettling to modern assumptions. It had become a modernizing state that many believed was steadily moving toward secular development, given Peter Burger’s at that time on the secularization thesis, which he later rejected. It argued that as societies modernize, religion gradually loses social, political, and cultural influence.

Yet, suddenly, Iran produced a theocratic government led by clerics. For many scholars and policymakers, the outcome seemed almost inconceivable beforehand, given its shift to a more secularized government. The shock was not simply political; it was intellectual as well.
The Iranian Revolution revealed a blind spot in modern political theory: the enduring political power of religion.

Prior to the revolution of 1979, most academic work, led by Burger, which was built upon the work of
Max Weber and Émile Durkheim, assumed that modernization caused religion to retreat from politics as secular regimes rose to power. Industrialization, urbanization, and advances in education pushed religion away from the public sphere and toward private life. Indeed, Iran appeared to be heading in this direction under the rule of Mohammad Reza Shah, whose regime was committed to economic modernization and an alliance with the West. . .

...Much of the continuing Western misinterpretation of Iran reflects the lingering influence of secularization theory. Many policymakers still assume that economic development, generational change, or deeper integration into global markets will gradually normalize Iran’s political system. Yet the revolution itself suggested otherwise. In Iran, modernization strengthened the social networks through which religious leaders organized political resistance. The Islamic Republic therefore represents not simply a temporary deviation from secular modernity but a different model of political modernity in which religious authority remains central.

The Iranian Revolution ultimately forces a broader reconsideration of how political change unfolds in the modern world. Revolutions do not inevitably produce secular or liberal outcomes.
Instead, they reveal which institutions command the deepest trust within a society....

We have OFTEN stated on this blog that the Bush-ites and the Clinton-ites, and the CIA-ites, and the State Department twits (inter alia) were making a serious error by ignoring religion in their pursuit of Eden--which they wanted to effect through "regime change"--in the Middle East.  None of them understood religion, except the religion of Mammon.

We are happy to have been proven correct, except for this damned "war" thing.

Of course, this has implications in the US.  The same gang of ignorami stulti, reading the Weber/Durkheim/Burger 'bible,' are having trouble governing the US because they thought (and still hold) that the US will turn into a thoroughly modern secular State.  Thus the shock they experienced when Trump came to power.  Trump One's campaign openly played to Christian sensibilities and themes, when all the Right People knew that only fools actually believed all that stuff.

The Right People were wrong.

So they...........ahhh..........."fortified" the '20 and jailed hundreds of US citizens who protested their blatant election fraud, thinking that those Court of Star Chamber trials and imprisonments would deter the masses, and with their chosen idiot Charlie McCarthy sitting on the lap of  Edgar Bergen the Deep State, they continued with not-at-all subtle hints about their power, using "CoVid 19" as their excuse for ripping the Constitution to shreds, killing grannies, forcing home-confinement on most of the population, and openly threatening their jobs and livelihood for failure to obey.

That failed, too--and Trump returned.

But the Weber/Durkheim/Burger Theory of "regime change" comes back, because Trump swallowed the bait of campaign funding and the hook is sunk deep in his craw.  For those of you who thought Trump was really the 'believer' (as he had campaigned way back when) this is a shock.  He now believes in the Burger theory and turns out to be exactly what he is:  a New York secularist Real Estate Developer.

Fortunately for him, a large segment of Americans are perfectly happy to see Armageddon in their day, believing their ascent to Heaven will follow immediately, and they not only voted for him again, but they loudly support his action in Iran.  By the way, those Christians understand that the Weber/Durkheim/Burger theory was wrong, which is exactly why they support the assault on Iran.

Irony abounds, no?

Ohhhh, NOOOOOOES!!!!

Surber reports:

... ITEM 2: Wide Awake Media tweeted: “UN officials have warned that the United Nations faces total financial collapse as a result of ‘non-payment of dues by member states. We face a real danger of running out of money.’”...

Let's repo their building and re-purpose it, say, as another Trump Tower.

The Elmbrook Chicken Littles

A few parents of Elmbrook Schools children (aided by the Democrat Party, no doubt) raised holy hell about a history presentation given by the US Department of Education at Brookfield Central high school.

The parents pointed to penumbras and emanations from organizations such as Turning Point USA, Moms for Liberty and Catholic Vote, asserting that the presentation would be "political" and probably FASCIST!

John Cotton, claiming to be a grandparent of a student, went on camera to make a fool of himself:

..."It really wasn't announced. It wasn't brought up, and it seems to be like I say, brought in under cover of darkness to promote a particular conservative, religious bent."...

Uh-huh.  Everything but ICE raids and The Camps!!

Cotton joined with Robyn Vining, an ultra-Lefty legislator, who also rendered a judgment without any knowledge of the facts:

...Vining said she did not attend the event because of her concerns over the tour's ties to conservative groups.

"Because I don't think we should have political activity on school grounds during school hours, I declined the invitation," she said....

Some parents observed the event and told a reporter (Channel 4) that there was nothing political about it at all.

News coverage on TeeVee?  Two stations (4 & 6) repeated the mantras about 'conservative groups' blahblahblah, with Channel 4 sending a photojournalist and quoting a parent (above).  Channel 12 ran a short 'facts-only' story.

But only Channel 58's Ajay Bayatpour observed the event and commented.

... The event, itself, did not feature any overtly partisan or political programming. An official from the Department of Education spoke about U.S. history and Wisconsin's role in expanding the developing nation's western frontier. Students then played an interactive quiz game where they answered questions about American and Wisconsin history....

You can judge for yourself which reporter (and station management) did the right thing.  But it should be obvious--except to such as Mr. Cotton and Ms. Vining.

One more thing:  the District Superintendent AND the principal at Brookfield Central High deserve credit for hosting the event.  At least one other district, in Connecticut, cancelled it due to hard-left political pressure (and gutlessness.)  Kudos!

Obozo's "Affordable" Care? NOT!!

Businesses are under a lot of pressure.

Manufacturers reported that the costs of health insurance for employees shot up by 14.2% on average; service firms reported an average increase of 12.9%, according to a report by the New York Fed based on a survey of companies in the New York-Northern New Jersey region....

If you think that those numbers are confined only to NY/NJ, you should get off the devil's lettuce.

By the way:  utility costs were up 8++%, and business-insurance costs were up 7.5%Those utility costs have everything to do with windmills and sun-catchers.  (Wisconsin Electric wants you to think that their tree-removal/line-burial costs are driving your bills up.  They are......ahhh........evading the truth through misleading statements.)

Not good.

Trump Wins Again at 9th Circus

A couple of days ago, SCOTUS told lowly Circuit "judges" that immigration courts' decisions about immigrants were NOT subject to review by lowly Circuit judges, unless the immigration court's decision was blatantly erroneous.  (They rarely--if ever--are blatantly erroneous.)

The ACLU and lots of other lawyers are now facing much less employment.

So sad.

Next, just yesterday:

...in a decision that knocked immigration activists right out of their Birkenstocks, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals —one of the nation’s most progressive courts— ruled that President Trump’s executive order suspending the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program is perfectly lawful.

The three-judge panel vacated most of the preliminary injunction issued by Seattle District Judge Jamal Whitehead (Biden appointee), who’d tried to block the President’s refugee freeze....

Another fleet of jackwad obstructionist lawyers becomes unemployed!

So sad.

Trump also won at the 7th Circuit.  You'll have to read the linked column to find out how.

"News" Didn't Report This One....

The "highly trained, professional reporters" in Wisconsin have failed to mention this ONE HUNDRED TWELVE MILLION DOLLARS in suspicious Medicaid payments for autism therapy.

...The report [on Colorado] comes as part of a series of seven Inspector General audits examining state Medicaid payments for autism therapy. Four are are complete and three remain in progress.

In previous audits, the agency estimated more than $120 million in improper payments and nearly $200 million in potential improper payments for Indiana, Wisconsin, and Maine....

WISCONSIN?  Tony Evers' 'really-clean' Government?

First, the disclaimer:

... Improper payments are not necessarily fraudulent. Payments are considered improper when the claim does not meet federal or state requirements. Payments are potentially improper when the submitted claim is so poor or unreliable that auditors cannot verify that the services were provided correctly....

Got that?

Here's the chart.

 https://cms.zerohedge.com/s3/files/inline-images/pay23_0.jpg?itok=lur2Xzvr

Colorado is obviously the Grand Champion here.

But why is Tony Evers' Wisconsin on the list at all?

Who knows?   Maybe some "highly-trained, professional reporter" will ask questions, instead of niggling the Elmbrook District about Old Woman "Concerns".

Policy Here

We will no longer leave inane combox remarks on-line.

If you attack me, or vomit mindless either/or comments, they will be removed.  Since we have a life, it might take more than a few hours, but they will be removed

Idiocy of the TDS variety.....well........it's still idiocy.

Just War? Doesn't Look Like It

Cadged from Wauck's place.  He says The Telegraph is a pro-war outfit.

So this headline is very telling, indeed.  Remember that Just War Theory requires "proportionate" means

Looks like Netanyahu's strategy is just like Ben Gurion's:  kill 'em all.

St Paul vs. Zionists (Like Hucka-Cruz)

We learn from St Paul that merely being Jewish does not make one 'a descendant of Abraham' in the most important sense.

...Tsakanikas pointed out that the authentic children of Abraham are those who accept Jesus Christ, and biological ancestry in this regard is of no avail.

“Saint Paul was clear: ‘not all are children of Abraham because they are his descendants (according to the flesh) … (because) it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise’ (Rom 9:7-8).”...

Yes, there's more:

...“Jesus said you cannot be true descendants of Abraham if you reject him: ‘If you were Abraham’s children you would do what Abraham did … Abraham rejoiced to see my day; he saw it and rejoiced’ (Jn 8:39,56),” the theology professor observed. “In between these passages, Jesus is clear that those who rejoice at his elimination have the devil as their father (Jn 8:44-47).”...

In effect, the promise made to Abraham included observant and faithful Jews until the New Covenant came into being with Christ--which made observant and faithful Christians into descendants of Abraham.  This is a spiritual thing, not a material one, which makes "territorial" claims absurd on their face.

But go ahead and choose!!  You get either St. Paul or Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee!

Choose wisely.

No More Warrantless S.702 Spying??

Sens. Lee and Durbin introduced legislation which would force the Feds to get a warrant before spying on Americans.  (As you recall, "conservative" Sensenbrenner voted for the current law, proving that he was just another Deep Statist).

The bipartisan SAFE Act would:

  • Require government agencies to obtain a FISA Title 1 order or a warrant before accessing the content of Americans’ communications collected under Section 702
    • The bill would not require a warrant for searches of foreigners’ communications or searches to uncover connections between targeted foreigners and Americans.
    • The requirement contains exceptions for “exigent” circumstances.
  • Boost the role of the amici curiae who assist the FISA Court in evaluating the arguments presented by the Justice Department
  • Close the “data broker loophole” that intelligence and law enforcement often use to purchase their way around the Fourth Amendment and privacy protections. Potential data that could be obtained skirting Fourth Amendment protections include location history.
  • Fix the overly broad definition of the Electronic Communications Service Provider (ESCP), which subjects virtually any business, religious organization, nonprofit, etc. that uses email, voicemail, or other communications to forced government data collection under FISA. This definition was expanded during the last FISA reauthorization fight.
  • Close the Section 215 loophole that allowed the federal government to continue using surveillance authority which expired in 2020
  • .

 About damn time.

God Did NOT "Bless Israel"

We noticed that (noted theologian and Hebrew scholar) Ted Cruz' account of Genesis 12 vs 1-4 is not the same as any other reputable translation of that passage.

Here's the New International:

12 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

“I will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.[a]

I will bless those who bless you,
    and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
    will be blessed through you.”[b]

Then there's this one--the Catholic version:

“Leave Your Country [and] Your People.”[c]1 The Lord said to Abram, “Leave your country, your people, and the house of your father, and go to the land to which I will lead you.

“I will make of you a great
people and I will bless you.
I will make your name great
and it will become a blessing.

I will bless those who bless
you and curse those who curse you.
And through you
all the nations on the earth shall be blessed
.”

That last phrase is a clear reference to Christ--Who brought about the New Covenant.

So what is the Jewish translation?  Let's go with the Orthodox version here:

 12 Now Hashem had said unto Avram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from the bais avicha, unto ha’aretz that I will show thee;

And I will make of thee a goy gadol (great nation), and I will bless thee, and make thy shem great; and thou shalt be a brocha (blessing);

And I will bless the one blessing you, and curse him that curses you; and kol mishpochot haadamah shall be blessed through you.[T.N. There is a brocha in this verse that many do not know but that every true follower of Moshiach should know.]...

Still looking for the word "Israel"?  So are we!!

OK.  One more.  How about the King James?

12 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed....

Cruz's and Huckabee's mentors twist the word "nation" into "Israel."  As you can see, that is not warranted by ANY of the quoted texts above.  "Nation" clearly means 'people', or 'tribe'; and that 'people' or 'tribe' is (later) limited to those who accept Christ as the Messiah.  (See St Paul's letters.)  It has nothing to do with land--as many (but not all) Orthodox Jews state, repeatedly.  And who better to render an accurate interpretation than the Orthodox?

Regardless of that, the Catholic Church rejects Zionism as a matter of dogma.  So let's not run into new wars based on some position held by only a relative few such as Huckabee or Cruz.
