Like shooting fish in a barrel, this is......
Politifact (actually, Politifart) rates Steil's claim about the $450K/head reward for illegals as "half true."
Their analysis, however, is "mostly false."
About 5,500 children were separated from their parents at the southern border under President Donald Trump’s "zero-tolerance" policy
Actually, that was Obama's policy and US law, revived by Trump after a court battle. MORE important, the PolitiFart genius claims--without a shred of evidence--that the children were 'separated from their parents.' Nobody knew whether those adults were "parents" which is precisely the reason they were separated. Can you say "Child sex traffickers", dumb-ass?
Another claim without evidence:
...were taken from their parents, with no provisions to later reunite them...
PolitiFart has no idea whatsoever whether Border Patrol had 'provisions' to reunite them. There is zero testimony to that assertion, other than that of the allegedly-aggrieved "parents."
...The policy also affected families that were legally entitled to asylum due to persecution in their home countries. So, in those cases, the families were not "illegal immigrants" at all, but people who followed the protocols for seeking asylum. ...
Any damn fool can CLAIM "persecution." In fact, the illegals were INSTRUCTED in how to claim "persecution." But a claim does not a fact make. Another assertion without evidence. (Getting kinda repetitive, ain'a?)
$30.00/year, worth at least half that!!
