Know Your Leakers

Public service announcement from Last Refuge.

...This reference resource is based on historic patterns and generally has an 80/20 accuracy rate.  While there are some leaks that cross through the data pattern, in the aggregate this basic outline has shown to be correct.

The leak source identification can help interested political observers understand the motives and objectives.

When you see the term “exclusive” in the originating media report, this guide increases in accuracy:

  • The State Department leaks to CNN
  • The CIA leaks to The Washington Post
  • The DOJ/FBI leaks to The New York Times and Politico
  • DHS domestically leaks to the Wall Street Journal
  • The National Security Council leaks primarily to Axios and Politico, NYT secondary
  • The Pentagon leaks to Fox News and the Wall Street Journal (Axios more recent)
  • Kash Patel leaks to John Solomon – Just The News
  • ¹DNI leaks to the Wall Street Journal, however:

¹The ODNI gets a little complicated due to the structure of the ODNI.  Each intelligence agency has a liaison office inside the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.  Generally, the topline guide above overlays with the desk assignment.

Example 1: CNN gets an ‘exclusive’ leak related to the DNI; the leak sourcing is therefore most likely to be the State Dept Desk inside the DNI office. (State Dept leaks to CNN)

Example 2: Washington Post gets an ‘exclusive’ leak related to the DNI.  The leak sourcing is directly from the CIA liaison desk inside DNI.  (CIA leaks to WaPo)

This is the consistent pattern that established itself over the past 20 years....

Keep it for future reference.

The Climate Jerk-Around: "Record High"

We're getting into That Season.  DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM!!!!! climate crapola with "Record High" temperatures.

Statistically?  It's all BS.  Or, more elegantly phrased:

...To those who have made climate change a foundational belief of their faith system, any heat wave is indisputable proof that global warming is real. But it’s not. Instead, it’s normal weather repackaged as climate propaganda, exploiting the statistical ignorance of the target audience, as well as that of the media pushing the climate scare....

OK.  Stats were a low-point of my sashay through HS education.  So....

...In the United States, temperature records date back about 100 to 140 years, depending on location. It would be fair to say that approximately 120 years is the typical historical database for a location’s temperature data. For each station, there is a record-high temperature for each day of the year, and also a record-low temperature for each day of the year. With 365 record-high temperatures for each station, spread over 120 years, that means that each station should record about three record-high temperatures each year, with a normal distribution. If there are fewer than three record highs being recorded in a given year, that would actually be below average.

NOAA monitors a domestic database of about 15,000 weather stations across the U.S. Therefore, with each of these 15,000 weather stations expected to have, on average, three record-high temperature readings per year, there should be approximately 45,000 documented daily high-temperature records per year in the United States alone.

Beyond record daily highs, we also periodically hear the terrifying reports of an “all-time highest temperature ever” being recorded for a given location. It sounds terrifying when climate alarmists are reporting it, but again, that is hysterics, not statistics or probability. With 15,000 weather stations divided by 120 years, there should be, on average, about 125 stations in the U.S. reporting their all-time record-high temperatures each and every year....

Oh.

So it will be hot during the summer, sometimes--in some places--REALLY hot.  So do what Sly Stone says!

Scripps "News" vs. Truth

It is what they DO NOT tell you that makes the difference.

Scripps on the Trump re-do of the reflecting pool:

...after a Reflecting Pool renovation project cost north of $15 million, some area residents are not pleased with the result.

As was often the case before the renovation began, the pool is currently rife with green algae growth.

A researcher at George Mason University who tested the water this week shared images of the microscopic lifeforms with Scripps News.

And there are some signs the new blue coating may already be peeling.

"It is a rush job," said Jason Davison, an assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering at Catholic University of America. "Not having the design engineers, the environmental scientists involved is one of the main reasons why we're seeing this failure of the coating."...

Oh, really?  Only engineers and "environmental scientists" could have saved the pool?

Here's what Scripps and the CU Geek did NOT tell you:

...Sabotage the Lincoln Reflecting Pool! Man arrested for cutting out a big piece of blue sealant ...

Oh.  Well.....

Go find another scandal to manufacture, Scripps.

Israel Blowing Up "The Deal"

Vance told Israel that the US is Israel's only remaining great friend in the whole world.

That friendship may not last another week.

Talks between the U.S. and Iran were called off Friday after intense fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, officials said, raising questions about an initial agreement to end the war in Iran....

...Military spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin said the military has not received different instructions from the government. He said Israeli forces were operating in a “forward defense zone” and will continue doing so....

...Iranian officials did not travel as planned to Switzerland, insisting that the fighting in Lebanon must stop before the talks can take place, according to three regional officials and a fourth person familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive conversations behind the scenes. U.S. Vice President JD Vance also postponed his trip.

Israel’s military struck targets in southern and eastern Lebanon overnight, and Hezbollah reported intense fighting. Lebanon’s Health Ministry said at least 21 people were killed, and Israel said four soldiers died....

"Forward Defense Zone" = the country of Lebanon, part of the 500,000 square miles of the Levant that Israel claims as a gift from God.

UPDATE:  fighting has ceased for a while.

Fauci, CIA, Multiple Perjuries

Another pundit remarks that now--given what we KNOW to be fact--Dr. Fauci is the world's leading mass-murderer.

And here's the most appropriate commentary featuring a well-known "Devout Catholic" Attorney-Liar whose Daddy employed Epstein:

Francesca Hong's DSA Party

A woman named Francesca Hong is campaigning to be the (D) nominee for Governor of Wisconsin.

She's actually a member of the Democratic Socialist Party and proud of it!

That Party is ambitious.

... the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) has simultaneously grown more extreme. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the group’s “Red Rabbits” initiative. The Red Rabbits Security Commission, a subgroup within the DSA focused on “community defense” efforts, is, according to its authorizing resolution, preparing for a “national uprising against federal agents and police brutality.” In practice, that means training cadres in tactics like armed and unarmed self-defense, blocking intersections, and fighting “fascists” with umbrellas....

Oh.

Does Francesca have an umbrella in her home?  Two?  More??

Terror Plot Leader? An Illegal.

He's a product of Barack Hussein Obama.

The alleged "ringleader" of a planned mass casualty event at the UFC Freedom 250 event is an illegal immigrant from Mexico.

Abraham Alvarez, who federal documents identify as the "ringleader" of the alleged plot, overstayed his visa, according to Fox News, which cited Homeland Security information. He was arrested by the FBI on Sunday, the day of the fight, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Alvarez came to the U.S. as a child, and his B2 visa had expired in 2001. He remained in the country, and the Obama Administration granted him deportation relief in 2014 through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program....

Another reason for the existence of ICE--and why deportation is a very, very, good thing.

S. 702 Dead. Or IS It?

The US Senate will not pass the SAVE Act.  They may pass a renewal of S. 702, the "We Spy on YOU!!!" law which offers a workaround to all that silly paperwork they have to fill out in order to get around the Fourth Amendment, ya'know.  But if they pass it, the President will veto it, unless they pass SAVE.

So the "We Spy on YOU!!!" thing is dead?

Nope.

In an report about another "Cloud People" club* (you are NOT in it), the New American mentions a couple of factoids.

...The most troubling part of the report, however, is not the eccentric agenda. It is the overlap between nominally private data companies and public power.

Dialog’s chairman, Auren Hoffman, is not just a conference organizer. He is a data-industry operator and investor: the founder of SafeGraph and LiveRamp, companies tied to location data and identity resolution, and a general partner at Flex Capital, a seed-stage venture firm with a broad portfolio across the digital economy. That makes him a connector as much as an entrepreneur, someone whose network sits at the intersection of data infrastructure, venture capital, and political access.

Alongside Thiel, another Palantir co-founder, Joe Lonsdale, is also listed in the report. Lonsdale is another Trump donor. He helped fund Trump’s 2024 campaign through Elon Musk’s America PAC. He then advised the administration on “government spending and efficiency” through the now-infamous DOGE.

Buried beneath the loud political theater of long-promised government efficiency, DOGE’s true mission had been spelled out early: to “modernize government software” in line with an “AI First Agenda.” The result was not so much the exposure and cutting of government “waste, fraud and abuse” as the digitization of government itself. That is what DOGE appears to have successfully achieved.

Once that happened, the Trump administration contracted Palantir to fuse datasets on every American, potentially creating detailed profiles on every citizen....

So S. 702 is dead, but it is also UN-dead, under a different protocol.

Now don't you feel better?

Sen. Kennedy NEEDS the Illegal Vote

Well, as it turns out, Sen. Kennedy--the Funny Man--has a good reason for opposing the SAVE Act.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) isn't launching a presidential campaign — at least not yet. But if the field fills up with "goobers," don't count him out....

Kennedy--a Globaloney Twit (with good writers)--will need every single non-citizen vote he can get if he puts on a run for the America First seat in the White House.  That's because Kennedy is NOT "America First," nor "MAGA."

He's just a smirking snotfaced jerk.

By the way, American owes Sen. Mike Lee a big "Thanks" for exposing this backwater jagoff.

What Jacob Murphy (CBS58) Should Report On

This "data center" thing is ridiculous.

A new proposal from the City of Milwaukee and outside developers could reshape the empty Walmart and parking lot in the Midtown Center area. ...

...The proposal includes 200 affordable housing units in the parking lot, a city library inside the building along with a computer research facility. ...

The computer research facility became a "data center"--which it is not--and lots of neighborhood people are agitated.

Are they?  Or is it just one or two screechers who are lying to that area's residents??

Mr. Murphy should find the person or persons who are waving and screaming "DATA CENTER!!  DOOM!! DOOM!!" around the neighborhood and ask a few questions, like "Where did you get that information?" and "Are you a member of the Democrat Socialist Party, or the Party of Socialism and Liberation?  The latter is a known Chinese Communist front.

He will learn something.  He could interrogate the person who is giving "tips" about the meetings, too, and revealing that person's identity would bring a lot of clarity to the story.

You know the word:  TRANSPARENCY.  Right, Jacob??

The KUSD Affordability Problem

Let's talk about AFFORDABILITY!!!

Took about 10 seconds to find the financial problem with Kenosha United Schools.  But first....

Kenosha Unified School District families are facing a difficult reality — a projected $17 million deficit that could mean the elimination of sports programs, fine arts, and dozens of teaching positions unless voters approve an operational referendum in November....

That's the usual M.O.:  threaten to kill off sports and extracurriculars, and add a few teaching slots as the 'shiny object' to distract from the real problem:

... Average annual salary was $75,403 and median salary was $70,971. Kenosha School District average salary is 12 percent higher than USA average and median salary is 30 percent higher than USA median salary. From 2024 to 2025, the average salary of employees at this employer increased 3.2 percent, the median salary increased 3.6 percent.  ...

Then there's the administration.

We didn't get to benefits yet.  Health insurance is mentioned by the Superintendent, and if KUSD is--like many other districts--paying the premiums for a "rich" plan, KUSD taxpayers are going to have a horrible next several years.

Kenosha is a Union Town, like Milwaukee.  In this case, like in Milwaukee, the Union makes things unaffordable.

Think Kelda Roys or Vanessa Hong will "fix it"?

Extreme Weather Aims at Gays (!!)

A fact that NOBODY knew until just now:

... The Annapolis Office of Emergency Management published an eyebrow-raising natural disaster emergency preparedness guide this week, arguing that extreme weather events are more likely to affect gays than straights. The release states that “after a disaster, LGBTQ+ people are almost twice as likely as the overall population to be displaced,” while adding an important reminder that “extreme heat can be challenging for those who rely on gender-affirming clothing.”...

Just in time for Juneteenth Day, "the poor" have been displaced by "the perverts."

You didn't have that on your bingo card, didja??

How Is This Even a Question?

This is a statement which will set hair on fire on certain people:  Cruz, Levin, Cotton, Insurrection Barbie, Laura Loomer, and Little Bennie--not to mention Rabbi Huckabee:

Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) on Wednesday evening suggested he is open to Iran retaining some non-nuclear weapons in the peace deal it is negotiating with the United States.

The senator’s take on the matter echoes President Donald Trump’s position. The president said earlier Wednesday he could be on board with Iran having some ballistic missiles in a final peace deal,...

Marshall mentioned "self-defense" as the reason.

Doh.

Let's see who argues that Iran should NOT have the ability to defend itself.

Lie: "Gun Laws Make You Safe"

It's just lying, but that's what Democrats do.

Wisconsin law currently allows private gun sales without background checks, which gun safety advocates say is leading to gun getting the wrong hands.

Their "remedy"?

Make it illegal to sell a gun to anyone without running a background check first.

Think about that.

In order to prevent a criminal from selling a gun to another criminal, the State will require Criminal #1 to run a background check on Criminal #2.  No doubt that Criminal #1` will comply, filling out all the paperwork and filing it with the appropriate State agency, right?

Oh, yah.  that's the ticket!!!

They just lie, and lie, and lie. If they don't they would have to admit they are utterly stupid.

Transgender Suicides? Nope. Another Lying Study

 Surprise, surprise!

...It is not uncommon for researchers in gender medicine to exaggerate their findings and let allied media spin the rest. But in this case, the authors of the NHB study themselves promoted a narrative of cause and effect. “In this study,” wrote lead author Wilson Lee on LinkedIn, “we presented causal evidence that enacting state-level anti-transgender legislation increased suicide attempts among transgender and nonbinary young people in the US.” Co-author Ronita Nath told CNN, “We’ve long known that the associations between anti-transgender policies and negative health outcomes for LGBTQ+ young people exist, but this is the first time any study has shown this causal relationship.”

Yet, in what has become routine in this research area, the NHB study’s findings and conclusions later crumbled under scientific reexamination. As a methodological criticism published (to its credit) in the NHB last month—over a year after the original study—shows, the observed elevation in suicide attempts came from a small sample (roughly 100 youth) in a single state (Idaho), at a time when that state’s “anti-transgender” laws were not even in effect. Further, the researchers did not properly control for confounding factors. (The Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine has published its own methodological analysis, which is worth reading.)...

No, the original's authors did not apologize, nor offer corrections.

Col. Mac Goes Optimistic

During this 1-hour video, you'll hear all sorts of positives about Trump's peace-deal in the Middle East, plus some insights on wars and economies that Trump apparently took into consideration.  That is, positive for the USA.  He's not at all positive about Israel's position, activity, or philosophy, which in combination will result in more war--for Israel.  That means--of course--that Trump and his successor(s) will always be under severe pressure to bring in the US Marines.

It will take strength to ignore that pressure, because Congress remains bought-and-paid-for.

He's not as optimistic about Ukraine, and he says why:  Congress and the M I C.

It will make your day because it's informed commentary, unlike that of the "Kill 'em all!!" bunch on certain TeeVee networks, and also unlike that of the Mad Hatter TDS crowd.

Hawley Goes for MLB's Throat. Good!

After the cuck-worm girly-men at Major League Baseball's HQ stripped Bible verses from San Francisco pitchers' hats, Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri issued a statement.

In relevant part:

...Alone among America’s professional sports leagues, baseball enjoys a sweeping, judicially manufactured exemption from the federal antitrust laws—a privilege the Senate Judiciary Committee has examined with bipartisan skepticism in recent years. A league that benefits from such an extraordinary dispensation owes the public a corresponding measure of accountability, and it invites the closest scrutiny when it appears to wield its market power to punish Americans for their beliefs. That exemption, in any event, has never been understood to shield the league from its legal obligation not to discriminate against its employees on the basis of religion...

Make them cry, Senator.  Then make them crawl to the players and ask forgiveness.  THEN take away their exemption.

Why SocSec Will Dry Up.....

You don't have to look very far to perceive why Social Security payments will drop by 25% in a few years.

...Oz further touted Vice President JD Vance’s work in exposing the fraud for criminal referral with his White House anti-fraud task force. While speaking at an anti-fraud roundtable with state attorneys general and White House officials last month, Vance revealed staggering numbers his team had discovered, including over $22 billion in fraudulent small business loans, more than $1.3 billion in fraudulent Medicaid reimbursements, $6.3 billion in suspected fraudulent government contracts, and $60 million in student aid fraud....

That's not counting Minnesota (and perhaps not counting California.)  And that's just "so far."  There will be billions and billions more.

YES, we know that SocSec is not the same as Medicaid, the SBA, and fraud-contract/fraud-student loans.  But money not stolen from the other programs could have been destined for the SS Trust fund.  And we haven't estimated the damages caused by immigrants, sixty percent of whom are grabbing welfare of one sort or another--and then add the fraud-immigrant bunch.......

There's more.

The Big Fraud industry also has a very active "Social Security Disability" component.  We're not alone in noticing "disabled" people partying like it's 1968--that is, showing zero signs of "disability."  JDVance should get around to that bunch, too.

That, plus the usual Congressional whoring to voters, is what caused the problem.

US/Iran: a New Paradigm?

We really want this to be true, but suspect that it's optimistic.

... What Trump has actually accomplished is to reframe the Islamic Republic as a legitimate actor in world affairs, rather than a Forever Enemy whose very existence America can scarcely tolerate. “We got along very well with Iran,” Trump said on Monday in a joint press conference with France’s President Emmanuel Macron. “I find them to be more rational, very smart,” Trump told NBC News last week. Would any American president before Trump have been caught describing the Islamic Republic in this way?...

.... If the U.S. can’t topple the Iranian regime, and if the health of the global economy depends on Washington and Tehran getting along, then Trump can no longer follow the lead of uber-hawks who reject, in principle, U.S.–Iran diplomacy....

Umnnhhhh......maybe.

The author here, one Mr. Day, forgets that Iran remains an Islamic country, and Islam is flat-out incompatible with Christianity, the nominal basis of Western civilization.  The Muslims also despise Jews.

So while Iran and the West may get along on economic terms, there will always remain an underlying dissonance.  That dissonance shows at the edges of those tectonic plates--specifically at the Israeli borders.  So we can expect plenty more trouble as it is clear that Israel does not share Trump's view of Iran.

Starmer Pushes the Envelope

It's known  that England and its EU allies really, really, really want to "punish" Russia.  It's also known that Trump doesn't agree.

So Starmer is upping the ante a bit.  (He's also playing "man" for the cameras.)

British armed forces boarded a Russian shadow fleet oil tanker in the English Channel in the early hours of Sunday morning, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has said.

In an operation lasting six hours, Royal Marine Commandos and specially trained law enforcement officers from the National Crime Agency intercepted the vessel and, for the first time, boarded it, supported by the RAF.

The vessel, Smyrtos, will be held and monitored off the south coast of England as investigations continue, the MoD said in a statement....

This will irk Putin, but it's not serious enough for anything more than a Strongly-Worded Letter.

Keep your eyes open.  If Starmer plays "man" again with another Russkie asset, one of more value, you'll know that he's hoping for a Russkie response which may trigger the NATO mutual-defense clause.

Israel's Credibility and Sympathy Reservoirs? Gone.

Beginning in the '60's, the state of Israel built a reserve of credibility and sympathy in the US.  The creds came through Israel's excellent intel and counter-intel activity, along with its successful assassinations; the sympathy came through its 'little guy that fights back and wins' reputation, despite Israel's documented track record of terrorism and "ethnic cleansing" of its territory.

But during the period beginning in the '70's, Israel's activities as a buyer of Members of Congress and various Administration officials also emerged, leading Pat Buchanan--and a number of other D.C. observers--to issue warnings about Israel.  But by that time, Israel's propaganda-and-money influence operations in the US were fully flowered, so Buchanan, Sobran, and other Cassandras were summarily "othered" as rabid anti-Semites and Israel, with its US citizen allies, continued to build positives here.

Then came the Zionists, a hard-right group in Israel which believed that God granted them a large chunk of the Levant, including Israel, Lebanon, Syria, and pieces of Egypt (if not more.)  Their influence on Netanyahu was weighty.  These are the people who despise Catholics, Protestants, and Muslims--and make that clear through their words and actions.

(To be clear, we are not fans of Mohammed, either.)

The Zionists provided the tipping-weight for scaled-up Israeli kinetic action against Persia and towards "Greater Israel".  Along with a loud Amen Corner in Congress and an extremely loud Amen Chorus in social media which included a number of theologically ignorant Protestant figures and highly-paid "influencers" such as Laura Loomer, (plus the exceptionally large cash contributions of US-citizen Jews to Trump's campaign), the decision was made to beat Persia into submission.

Rumors abound that Trump was sold a bill of goods, beginning with the falsehood that de-capitating Persian leadership, combined with a number of strategic missile-and-bomb demolition derbies, would bring Iran to its knees immediately.  No sweat.  Easy-Peasy!!!.  Walk in the Park!!!

Since the US' intel inside Iran was slim-to-non-existent, Trump relied on Israeli intel, which was very good, if that "decapitate and demolish" line was accurate.

It wasn't.

As a result, the US's foot was now in the quicksand, and more pounding and de-capitations were launched.  Easy-Peasy!!  Walk in the Park!!

But Persians, the people who invented chess, had plans, too.  They smashed a number of US radar installations, (reportedly) took out a lot of US warbirds, and were able to pose a very effective threat to the US Navy with mines in the Strait of Hormuz.  Too bad that the Navy had scrapped its minesweepers, eh?  (Who the Hell made THAT decision?)  Iran and its Crazy-Uncle allies the Houthis now controlled the Strait and threatened another Strait on the other side of Saudi Arabia, too; and with that control, the control of 60++% of the world's supply of petroleum.

That's when the dog's bite started ripping flesh and sinews.

After a few more agonized writhings, Trump gave up.  The "deal" he has does not accomplish "regime change", nor does it keep the "free flow of oil".  The Persians did not give up their "nuclear dust."  They did not lose one inch of territory, AND they demanded that Israel keep her mitts off southern Lebanon (which Israel, of course, met with more rockets, bombs, and missiles.)  They got a few hundred $billion, and they will promise not to even think about nuclear arms.

Trump promised that the US and Israel will not continue the demolition of Beirut.

But Israel ignored Trump and launched missiles and bombs into Lebanon anyway, as is their wont.

That last--the Beirut Bombings--mark the end of Israel's US sympathy reservoir in the Oval Office and (with the exception of the Amen Corners in Congress and social media) the end of that sympathy across the US.  Of course, Israel can and will continue to invest in its effective propaganda-and-purchase plots, but along with that reservoir of sympathy, its reservoir of credibility ("Easy-Peasy") is gone for the time being.

Some people will pay a very high price for this misbegotten and expensive war.  Tulsi Gabbard is one.  JD Vance is another.  If you're paying attention, they are already being vilified as traitors to the US (!!!) and semi-Nazi scum anti-Semites.  It's possible that Vance will not get nominated to replace Trump and that Gabbard will never see another day in service to the US in any capacity.  And--by the way--both of them should double their security, especially at their six.

There may be a concerted Israeli-led defamation campaign against Trump, too.  His recent inane comments on other topics, along with his now-barely-concealed ego problem, are not engendering all the love he fervently thinks he's owed.  He's weakened.

Quite a chapter!  Trump, Vance, and Gabbard are probably out of the picture for the next decade or so.

But Israel will be back.  They'll have another war for us to fight.  Count on it.

P.S.:  Israel hosted "World-Wide Prideland" last week.  Fittingly, at the Dead Sea.  They're gathering allies, you know.  Israel also offers free abortions to anyone....THIS is the country the US fights for?

Trump Understates......

The Donald is far too kind.  Here are his remarks after setting up the deal with Iran:

...  in a phone conversation with the New York Times,  [.......] he said Netanyahu “is a very difficult guy, and to be honest with you, he should be very thankful to us for doing this.”...

Here's a translation:

"Netanyahu is a royal pain in the ass.  He has not yet, and never will thank the US taxpayer for what they've done here, and the next time he calls, I will be unavailable.  In fact, I will not be available to take his call until........oh........2060 or so."

"And tell Mark Levin, Tom Cotton, Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz, and that dried-up wrinkled bitch Laura Loomer that they are not welcome at Mar-a-Lago for the next 20 years, either."

That's what he really said.

Wait until you hear what JD Vance has to say about that cast of characters............

Other Than This, No Worries!!

A lot of people have an intense interest in you.  And it ain't about love.

Their Plans for YOU

A number of (non-US) central banks have signed up with this CLIMATE DOOM CLIMATE DOOM CLIMATE DOOM-aversion plan.  US banks, prompted by overseas insurance companies and those offshore centrals, were aligned with this at one time, but eventually discerned that the plans were suicidal for them AND for their customers.

But it's still out there, pushed by the Moron-in-Charge of Canada and the ultra-thin-blooded King Charles of England.  Think you'll like it??

Thomas Sowell's Right, You Know.....

We've said the same thing in another venue.

Glad Sowell is here to remind the US Catholic Conference of FIRST things.

All Show, No Go, Donald.....

This showed up at AND Magazine, authored by an anonymous ex-spook with umpty-ump years' experience in Central and Latin America.  His topic is the upcoming election in Colombia.

...Venezuela’s Marxist regime is still firmly in power. The arrest of Nicolas Maduro and the naming of his friend Delcy Rodriguez as “president” of Venezuela have not resulted in any significant changes in the oppressive Chavez/Maduro government. Venezuelans still live in fear and misery, and they are still threatened by regime thugs if they dare to protest. It appears that an amoral gang of American businessmen with interests in Venezuela pushed President Trump to settle for the illusion of “stability” and oil, rather than freedom for Venezuela. We will pay a heavy price for the incompetence of our Latin American intelligence analysts who fell for this dirty deal and urged it on Trump. A recent article in Politico suggests that some of the worst actors, including a Palm Beach bottom-feeding oil and asphalt mogul, are now under investigation by the FBI for their shenanigans.

If Colombia falls into the hands of Cepeda, the two countries will form a bloc that Trump will be unable to deal with. It will be a disaster for American foreign policy in the Western Hemisphere. If Abelardo is elected, President Trump’s stance in Venezuela will become untenable. Unlike the fools who urged on Trump a false plan of “stability” under Delcy Rodriguez, de la Espriella knows exactly what Delcy Rodriguez is and what she, Chavez, and Maduro have done to Colombia. There will be no “peaceful co-existence”. Abelardo de la Espriella is a friend of the United States, but he will not pretend to be a friend of the junta in Caracas. He was the lawyer for Alex Saab, Maduro’s major bagman. Not even a towering diplomatic intellect like Jared Kushner* will b.s. him into seeing the Delcy Rodriguez regime as illegitimate and criminal....

Cepeda=Very Bad.  Abelardo=Good Guy, but no fool.

*Denotes heavy sarcasm.

Can Trump do as badly in Central America as he has done in Iran?

Stay tuned.

Eight Years of Evers: Hiring Takes a Dump

After only eight years of Tony Evers--not to mention a less-than-friendly tax and regulatory environment--Wisconsin doesn't look very good here.

Pp Leo Gets It!

Finally.  Someone told him about reality.

U.S-born Pope Leo XIV sharply criticized the advocates who encouraged the deadly migrations that have killed many thousands of migrants over the last 10 years....

... "Mafias that profit from despair, traffickers who enslave women and children, and those whose indifference allows the poor to be swallowed up by exploitation or forgetfulness." [he said.]...

... In a later June 12 speech in Spain, the pope also told migrants — including self-segregating Muslim migrants — that they should integrate themselves into the host countries: “Open yourselves with trust to the community that welcomes you, to learn its language, to respect its laws, to get to know its customs, to participate in communal life, and to offer your gifts with gratitude.”...

That might take a few more weeks, Holiness.

The Pope also took a not-too-subtle slam at "economic migration":

... "While there is a right to seek refuge when life is threatened, there is also the right not to have to migrate: the right to remain in one’s own home without hunger, war, persecution, violence, the land becoming uninhabitable, corruption stealing the bread from the poor or weapons destroying the future of children. We cannot grow accustomed to counting the dead."...

Sending JDVance over there to chat has had good effects.

Now, someone please inform the Bishop of El Paso.

USCC Loses All on Immigration Law

Perhaps the US Bishops confused Trump with Biden?

President Donald Trump signed legislation June 10 providing US$70 billion to fund Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Patrol.

Prior to the bill's passage, the US bishops were among those who urged lawmakers to make immigration policy reforms aimed at protecting the dignity of migrants, such as efforts to prevent the separation of families.

However, after months of debate over possible reforms, none of those measures were ultimately included in the final bill as negotiations in Congress fell apart....

The Bishops' extreeeeeeme left-wing advisors didn't want "reforms."  They wanted capitulation, loopholes, and a foothold for their propaganda campaigns.  They over-reached and got zero.

Too bad, so sad.

It's The SPENDING, Stupid!!

Ticker makes the case very well.

You can fill in the blank for "Who's Stupid" after reading this.

First he quotes the news:

The Producer Price Index for final demand rose 1.1 percent in May, seasonally adjusted, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Final demand prices advanced 1.1 percent in April and 0.7 percent in March. (See table A.) On an unadjusted basis, the index for final demand increased 6.5 percent for the 12 months ended in May, the largest 12-month rise since moving up 7.4 percent in November 2022....

Then he launches the artillery:

This is not Iran.

It is the monetary expansion from deficit spending which Trump did exactly nothing to curtail and is now presenting severe cost-push pressure into the supply chain across the board.

I pointed this out as a serious problem in January before the first shots were fired and it has only gotten worse since.

On the final demand (closest to the consumer) side removing foods and energy the escalation was 0.8% on the month which, on a 12 month rolling basis is just over 10%.  Again that's excluding food and energy.

What's far worse is unprocessed intermediate which again, less food and energy, is up 2.6% on the month and the 12 month total run rate is 22%!  The monthly increase annualized is 36% and processed goods less foods and energy were up 1.8% on the month which once again annualized comes to 23.9%....

It is true that Trump "did nothing" about the spendingTo be fair, neither did Biden.  It is ALSO true that Congress, led by spineless twits with pretty hair, spends money as though it were tossing confetti during a parade.

Now comes the announcement that Social Security payments will decrease by 25% or so in about 6 years.  The combination of less money AND more costly EVERYTHING will take care of the "aging Boomers are a pain" problem, alright.  But those Costly Everythings are also going to affect everyone else.

It is the spending.  It always has been the spending.  It always will be the spending. And until we get the Beautiful Hair Twits off their TeeVee vanity shots and back down to earth, it will be a Great Depression-causing problem.

Making Evers & Kaul Cry

One prominent election-fraud vehicle may soon disappear.

... The case is Watson v. Republican National Committee, and the issue is whether the State of Mississippi’s statute allowing ballots that arrive after Election Day to be counted violates federal law....

Of course it does.

PowerLine cites both the Constitution AND Federal law.

...The Republican National Committee says the federal statutes mean what they say: for national elections, we have an Election Day, not an Election Season. At oral argument, most justices seemed sympathetic to that argument....

This obviously applies only to Federal elections.

But will States jury-rig elections so that State and local results take a few weeks but the Federal ones are apparent same-night?

Dear Justice Thomas:  make Evers and Kaul cry.

PI Lawyers and FRAUD?? Be Still, My Heart

There is a reason that Personal Injury lawyers have a certain 'reputation.'

This story underlines it.

California agreed to pay out $4 BILLION to young 'victims of abuse' at various shelters and state-run facilities.  So far, so good.

But then the whispers started......

...reports that some plaintiffs fabricated stories of sexual abuse - and sometimes were never even in custody at the facilities.

An LA Times investigation in October found nine people who claimed they were paid small amounts of cash by recruiters to sue the county, claiming they were sexually abused in juvenile halls.

They described how a network of individuals approached them on the street and incentivized them to fabricate stories of sexual abuse within the juvenile justice system in exchange for cash payments ranging from $50 to $200.

Those who spoke to the LA Times said they received the payments when they filed a claim specifically with Downtown LA Law Group, one of the main firms involved in the settlement.

One person even claimed a vendor drove them to the law firm's office and paid them cash after the claim was filed.

Some also said they were plied with scripts about what to tell the attorneys once they agreed to file claim....

You've noticed that local TeeVee stations seem to get a lot of "tips" from lawyers who just happen to have an interest in the story, and often the stories are told with some parts "missing".  Often those "missing parts" are important, such as when the "ILLEGAL" word is NOT used when a Tale of Woe comes up over an immigrant.

Some lawyers are evil bastards.

"We Spy On YOU!! S 702" No Longer Authorized

This is a good thing, no matter the DOOM! DOOM!! DOOM!!! DOOM!!!!screeching from the Speaker.

He knows, and we know, that S702 was and is used to spy on US citizens without a warrant.  Yes, the pretext is "foreign terrorist connections," but that's a stretch, to say the least.

Remember this:  that "connection" runs out to the SIXTH degree.  So if your sister talks to her brother-in-law who spoke with his cousin who talks with his friend in Europe and that friend calls a terrorist-suspect in......say.........Palestine---well, when you call your sister, YOU are "terrorist-linked."

BANGO!!  You get the S702 treatment:  every call, email, and text is checked.  No warrant, no warning.

And that doesn't count the illicit use of the system by rogue contractors or Government employees.

If the "WE SPY ON YOU" legislation is brought up again, it should have serious restrictions--like, e.g., "Get a Warrant".

N.B.:  every Wisconsin Republican voted to KEEP S 702 active.  Every one of them deserves a swift kick in the ass.

Trump Brags on Piddly Oil Shipments

The President continues to fight Israel's war.

He brags that the Navy escorted 100 million bbls of oil in the last 30 days.

Really, Donald?

Before Israel's war, the Strait accommodated 20 million bbls every.  damn.  day.

Just get the Hell out of there, Donald.

Birds, Feathers, McCord and SPLC

A little side-bit of information which is very revealing.

The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing today on the topic of the Southern Poverty Law Center, operating a program to fund, organize and stimulate racist activity, just so the SPLC could fight against racism and fundraise over it.

Amid the panel of voices presented to discuss the issue is the familiar Lawfare operative, Mary McCord.  It makes sense for McCord to get invited by the HJC because McCord was lead staff for the HJC (Nadler/Schiff) during the impeachment effort.  The relationship between Mary McCord and the HJC is lengthy.

McCord noted that law enforcement agencies routinely pay for operatives to infiltrate organizations in order to target them, so congress should not be too concerned with the SPLC funding white racists for the same purpose. ...

The SPLC has been more than a little suspicious since--to my memory--about 1975-80.  Turns out that it was not only true, but that SPLC was worse than we thought.

That's why Mary McCord fits right in.  She, too, is worse than anyone might have thought.  That's proven by this:

...What McCord carefully avoided was noting how the SPLC is neither a law enforcement entity nor an investigative agency of the government....

She is a practiced liar, but we all learned how to 'parse' during the Clinton regime.

Sheriff to Judge: 'Stick It Up Your....'

First instance like this that we've ever seen.

....Sheriff Kevin McMahill has refused a judge’s order to release a repeat offender. Sheriff McMahill cited Nevada Revised Statute 211.250, which states a sheriff can deny certain releases if they create an “unreasonable risk to public safety.”

Judge Eric Goodman has threatened Sheriff McMahill with contempt of court if he does not comply with the court’s ruling.

The repeat offender, Joshua Sanchez-Lopez, has been arrested 35 times, including for “substantial battery.”...

The judge is PO'd, as is the defense attorney for the scum.  Screw them!

Let's run McMahill for President.

Not Gonna Take It......

Apparently the Irish have had it with immigrant Sudanese criminals.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, protests over the alleged attempted murder were held across the city, some of which descended into scenes of chaos and violence. Multiple vehicles, including a city bus and a police car, were set on fire by rioters.

Meanwhile, reports have also emerged of demonstrators throwing petrol bombs at police officers in the Cloughfern area of the city. Separately, residents were forced to evacuate their homes after they caught fire in East Belfast.....

...The outbreak of chaos comes a year to the day after similar anti-migrant riots erupted in Northern Ireland after Roma migrant teens had been charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in the town of Ballymena.

This led to multiple days of violence and reportedly forced multiple families of Romanian and Bulgarian heritage to leave the area altogether...

(Roma is the polite word for "gypsy".)

The problem in England is worse, but the English are a bit more docile than the Irish.

*Shock*! NFL Is Greedy

When you look up "Greed" in Webster's, you find the NFL shield.

... The [Congressional] report, at its heart, zeroes in on the league's Sunday Ticket offering. It highlights evidence from the ongoing Sunday Ticket antitrust case, including a 2024 jury verdict that found the NFL violated antitrust law and awarded more than $4.796 billion in damages to plaintiffs. That verdict was later vacated by a judge, wrongfully so, according to the report....

Page 18 of the report is especially troubling for the NFL relative to its decisions with The Sunday Ticket package. It outlines that:

ESPN reportedly proposed a Sunday Ticket package priced around $70 per season.
According to documents cited in the report, the NFL objected to the lower price point.
The NFL also opposed a team-by-team purchase option that would have allowed fans to buy only their favorite team's games.
The report argues these decisions limited consumer choice and kept fans locked into a more expensive bundle
....

Fox has this story.  The fact that Fox has to pay up to run NFL games is mere co-incidence.  And if you want to know how "non-advertising" propaganda works, recall Rush Limbaugh's continual promotion of the Sunday Ticket?

Yah.  He didn't get rich on his good looks.

They're Just THROWING Money Away

Not that you'll be surprised.

...officials warned that weak oversight systems leave federal programs vulnerable to both waste and fraud if longstanding deficiencies are not fixed. The report explained that improper payments “can include overpayments, underpayments, and payments where an agency is unable to determine whether a payment was proper because of insufficient or lack of documentation.”

The report identified seven federal agencies with programs that posted improper payment rates above 10% for multiple consecutive years between 2021 and 2024.

Five of those agencies, including the Departments of Labor, Education, Health and Human Services, Treasury and Agriculture, lacked sufficient internal procedures to secure timely reporting and monitoring of payment integrity problems. GAO said those agencies did not always provide “complete and timely information” as required under federal law....

You can hear the discussion.  "Gee, boss, we can't find documentation for this spend.  What should we do?"  Boss:  "Write a check, dammit.  It's not YOUR money."

Notice that the "We NEVER pass an audit and go suck our ass if you think we care!!!" Pentagon is missing from that list?  We did, too.

Think Hegseth gives a rip?  We don't, either.

Sen. Warner Had ZERO Intel Experience....

Amusing whine from a Deep State figure complaining about the Pulte nomination.

Here he is on CNN:

...WARNER: "I didn‘t think Trump could still surprise me, but he literally shocked me. And I think all of my Republican colleagues on the intel committee by picking somebody with literally no security background....

Warner's "security background" began in 2011 when he was given a slot on the Senate Intel Committee.  Before that, Warner's "security" experience consisted of buying and selling small companies and governing Virginia.  IOW, he didn't know s**t about "security" until 2011, but got one of the most powerful "security" seats in the countryIf you're asking why, you're on the right track.

The Senate Intel Committee, along with its House counterpart, has been the locus of almost every plot against the American people.  They use every three-letter agency in D.C. to propagandize, lie, and cheat; and in many cases, they see to it that their political enemies are........ahhh.......neutralized, usually through smear campaigns.  (It helps to have the FEEBS placing honeypots and filming the action.)

'Hypocrite' is the middle name of most politicians; Warner is at the front of that parade.

Pp Leo Voices the Old "Fix the Root Cause" Gambit

Where have we heard this one before?

American-born Pope Leo XIV urged Spanish politicians to welcome economic migrants — but he also wants the Spanish government to help them stay in their home countries.

Migration “gives rise to a twofold demand for social justice: to offer safe and legal pathways, a respectful welcome and real opportunities for integration; and, at the same time, to promote the right to remain in one’s own land, ” Leo told the Spanish parliament on June 8.

Governments should welcome migrants and “ensure that no one has to leave their home due to a lack of peace, security or decent living conditions, including economic inequalities,” Leo added...

That's the "root cause is poverty" argument made by US Lefties since the '60's, and a lot of immigrants have used that to get into the US legally.

For that matter, it was a commonplace during all the immigration waves--those of the Irish, Germans, Poles, and Italians--during the late 19th/early 20th centuries.

But all that immigration was legal.

The US already has "safe and legal pathways" to immigration along with "a respectful welcome and real opportunities."  The immigration laws we have are designed for all of that.

It would be nice if the Pope acknowledged that, too, ain'a?

Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Green Bay.......

This was obvious from the git-go, of course.  Pratt will lose.

... There are still several days of ballot counting ahead.  After all, the creation of ballots takes time and resources, and as noted by several people in/around the LA area, locally sourced, artisanal ballots can take much longer to be grown and curated....

Milwaukee's election commission has already lawyered up; there are rumors that some have spilled the beans on the Election Fraud of '20.

It's water over the dam, and there will be no prosecutions, no jail-time--and probably continued fat and sassy salaries and benefits for the perps.

But you never know.  Stuff happens.

"De-Islamify Iran"? And Then......?

We read in today's agitated American Greatness blog one of those......ahhh.......embarrassing screed/"solutions" to the Israel-Iran War, written by T. McCotter, an allegedly educated man.

Regime change requires the eradication of the ruling ideology, not merely the removal of some of the rulers who enforce it....

...When the U.S. and its allies occupied Nazi Germany following its unconditional surrender, de-Nazification was a comprehensive, whole-of-society effort to eradicate both the ruling ideology and the rulers themselves. This was necessary to eradicate over a decade of Nazi indoctrination and genocidal totalitarian rule over the German people, as well as the vile regime’s similar domination of occupied nations, which occurred with the support of elements within those local populations. Consequently, a root-and-branch elimination of the Nazi ideology followed. While Hitler and other top Nazis cheated the hangman, the Nuremberg war crimes trials resulted in the execution and/or imprisonment of remaining key regime leaders. Thus, in the instance of regime change in Nazi Germany, both the National Socialist ideology and its regime’s leadership were eradicated....

Umnnnhhhh............Dear Thad:

What followed that "de-Nazification" in half of Germany and all of Eastern Europe?

Did you forget already?

Do you have a better plan than the one from Roosevelt and Truman and their collaborators in England and France?

Hmmmmm??????

We're pretty sure that there are other Islamic countries, Thad.  What are THEY going to do while you "de-Islamify" Iran?

Ghoul-Creeper Jim Himes Wants Terror Attack on US

Sauron Eye Wallpapers - Top Free Sauron Eye Backgrounds - WallpaperAccess

This is the kind of creeper which flourishes in D.C.

Representative Jim Himes is the ranking Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).  During an interview on Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan, Himes looks forward to the political benefit he predicts following terrorist attacks inside the USA as soon as the FISA (702) program expires next Friday.

Elimination of FISA (702) authority is not a bad outcome; in fact, many of us want that outcome because FISA (702) is warrantless surveillance of American citizens.  However, watching Himes be gleeful at the possibility of terrorist attacks resulting from FISA (702) expiring, is, well, a little weird....

Himes--like most MC's and exec-branch people--thinks he is Very Important to the Entire American Project.

Don't you think so too??

Welker: Blind, or Just Invincibly Ignorant?

On this video of the J6 disturbance, only 15 seconds in, we see CapCops ushering and escorting J6 protesters (no fires, no trashed cars) into the Capitol.

This is the evidence that NBC's Welker claimed "does not exist."

Can anyone really be that stupid?  This video is three years old.  Run a search on 'capitol cops ushering J6' and this pops up immediately.

And Teh Nooz wonders why nobody trusts them any more.

On The Martyrs of Uganda

Right during Pride Month!

The feast-day of St. Charles & Companions, The Martyrs of Uganda, is June 3rd.

St. Charles Lwanga was one among 22 young African men who were martyred in the 1880s in Uganda. These young men were, in various ways, in service to the King and were evangelized by the local French missionaries.

They were baptized and instructed by the local French priests and resisted the King’s request that they engage in homosexual acts in his court. The King’s anger at their refusal led him to kill the French missionaries and many of the young Catholic boys of his court

St. Charles Lwanga was the first to be burned alive, and many other young men followed his martyrdom through various forms of torture and death. Only two bodies could be identified, those of St. Charles Lwanga and St. Mathias Malumba.

All twenty-two men were canonized by Pope Paul VI in 1963 and today are a great example to Courage members, inspiring them to continue in their pursuit of chastity and holiness. ...

That's from Courage International.

(Question:  were those "French priests" in the Holy Ghost order, same as Mgr. LeFebvre?  Wouldn't THAT be ironic....)

How "Secret" Is D.C.'s Spy-On-YOU!! Law??

This is Mad Magazine Spy vs. Spy territory.

In an article narrating the current status of "The Cloud People Will Spy On You Any Damn Time They Please" S.702 legislation pushed by Tom Cotton (a Totalitarian pretending to be "conservative") and the ultra-Totalitarian Mark Warner (D)), we find this:

...A 2022 FISC opinion found an FBI analyst had queried the Section 702 database of Americans’ data to run a batch search on over 19,000 donors to a congressional campaign, with the Justice Department determining only eight of those queries had sufficient ties to foreign influence activities to comply with standards. Wyden and Massie have separately said the FBI and other intelligence agencies are now using what Massie calls “an innovative loophole to spy on Americans in ways” he cannot disclose because “the interpretation of the law” itself is “top secret.”...

Got that?

You cannot find out how the FEEBS (and other political operatives) are spying on you because they use a method to get around the Fourth Amendment which is "top secret."

Massie is bound and determined to shut down S.702, which is ONE of the reasons Massie was bounced out of his seat come January.

Side-question:  do ya think that those massive data centers might be handy for compiling and indexing comms from every.  single.  American.  in the not-too-distant future?

Well, DO ya', punk?  You ought to.  Because they can.

... three-letter agencies would still retain a parallel and largely unregulated avenue for mass data collection, surveillance, and profiling via commercially available data for purchase, known as the “data broker loophole.” As Eddington explains, “the Section 702 program’s threat is dwarfed by the avalanche of commercially available data—and radically permissive DHS and Justice Department investigative policies on what agents are allowed to do with that data.”...

They are helped along in that regard by EO's from Ron Reagan (!) and Bush the Dumber.

Didja Notice the Arrests?

Over the past several months, Teh Nooz in Milwaukee has run stories about child-sex-predator arrests.

There's a reason for that:  the FBI.

“7,200 kids that we found that got to go home. 3,400 child predators and traffickers arrested. That’s up 99% from the best year Biden ever had. That means kids are being protected at levels that are simply unheard of!” “And that means this FBI, here’s another thing. We didn’t just do the physical work on the streets. We went to the cyber community and we dismantled 3 million pedophile accounts off the Tor network where these predators prey on our children and think they can hide from this FBI.” “They can’t. We are going to the ends of the earth and the cyber realm to make sure our most precious commodity kids are safeguarded.” “And the numbers speak for themselves because the FBI are putting kids first.” @FBIDirectorKash...

If you've paid attention, you also noticed that there were very few--if any--similar events during the Biden Kakistocracy.  That's because the FEEBS had other priorities:  arresting citizens who are pro-life and favored MAGA.  That way they didn't have to expose Hunter any more than he had already exposed himself.

Now the big question:  when will the FEEBS start arresting the D.C.-based sex predators?

Trump and Henry Clay Economics (!!!!)

Trump's economic plan is a re-run of Henry Clay's plan.  It's also the enfleshment of what Pat Buchanan shouted about during his '92 run.

This video contains the essence, and quotes Peter Navarro (at 7:39) on 'How It Works.'

Did the assassination attempts on Trump fall right into line with past Presidential assassinations?

Now there's an interesting thought!

Much more information can be found--as usual--at the Treehouse.

Claire Woodall Now in L.A.??

Looks like Claire Woodall--who oversaw a lot of "elections" in Milwaukee--may have moved to Los Angeles.

...Republican Spencer Pratt's chances of advancing to the Los Angeles mayoral runoff have dropped in prediction markets as rival Nithya Raman, a Democrat, continues to gain ground in the ongoing ballot count, narrowing the gap to fewer than 8,000 votes.

The latest results show Raman rapidly closing in on the former reality television star in the race for second place behind incumbent Mayor Karen Bass, also a Democrat, who has already secured a spot in November's runoff election. More than three-quarters of ballots had been counted as of early Sunday....

Just as in Milwaukee (and Green Bay, Madison, Racine, and Kenosha), the mail-in-late-arriving ballots are going to determine the winner.  IOW, after election day, the Left knows how many "votes" they have to manufacture, and they do it.

Even if they allow Pratt to defeat Raman, they will never let Pratt have more votes than Bass in the November contest.

Never.

This picture depicts the only part of the Milwaukee "election" of '20 that really counted, except Claire Woodall is not nearly as attractive as the girl here It's the model for the Los Angeles "election" of this month.

WIC Fully Funded. "Progressives" Lie About That

You have to get EIGHT grafs deep into this news story propaganda piece to get the facts about "why."

EIGHT.

...According to The Washington Post, the House voted 213-210 on the funding bill for fiscal year 2027. Four Democrats joined Republicans to pass the measure. Five Republicans voted against it.

By the numbers:

According to the progressive Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, the cuts would slash more than $141 million in fruit and vegetable benefits for about 5.4 million WIC beneficiaries, including pregnant women, new mothers, toddlers and preschoolers. ...

DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM!!!!!!  Do you understand them?  It is DOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

...The National WIC Association said the cuts would lower monthly healthy food benefits from $52 to $13 for breastfeeding mothers and from $26 to $10 for young children. ...

Gee.  WIC has a National Association?  Gotta be an unbiased source of info, right?

Well, as it turns out, they ARE biased.

...Rep. Andy Harris, a Maryland Republican and chairman of the House Appropriations subcommittee on agriculture, said the bill includes $8 billion in WIC funding, which "will fully fund the program," The Post reported.

"No woman or their children will lose or be denied coverage," Harris said. ...

Congress' funding is reduced because there are fewer people taking the benefits.  No point in allocating funds that won't be legitimately used.  But the National WIC Association probably had plans for a nice new building and a few more lobbyists liars.

The manner of reporting this story tells you why "da Nooz" is no longer a respectable source of information.  How long before "da Nooz" figures it out?
