Russia's Maneuver War in Finance

A few days ago we mentioned that Russia appears to be using 'maneuver' warfare in Ukraine, which involves positioning troops, moving them quickly to other locations, and using them to 'fix' the opponent's troops while attacking elsewhere.

They're also doing that in the finance world.

Putin knew that Dumb JoešŸ¤” and his Dumb Advisors would attempt to cut off Russia's money supply.

So--when that happened--Putin 1)  made arrangements with India and China to use rubles, in trade for yuan and rupees for various Russian exports, and 2) advised Germany that if they didn't pay in rubles, they would be cut off from about 30% of their natural gas needs (from Russia.)  That arrangement nullifies the Dumb JoešŸ¤” desire to cut Russian banks from the SWIFT international-payments system and there's not a damn thing Dumb Joe can do about it.  (Do you think German politicians will ask their people to freeze to make Dumb JoešŸ¤” look smart?)

Thus, Dumb JoešŸ¤” and his Dumb Advisors were cut off at the pass.  Not only did they fail to starve Russia of cash; they also managed to blow the USD into the status of 'just another fiat currency.'

And--while they were at it--Dumb JoešŸ¤” and his Dumb Advisors also managed to PO Saudi Arabia by playing footsie with Iran--the Saudis' worst enemy in the Middle East.  How PO'd are they?  They won't return his phone calls, and will NOT increase petroleum production to make up for the cutback in Russian petroleum.

And Dumb JoešŸ¤” got 81 million votes.

Here Comes Your New ID!!

Not only a new ID, but also your new currency.

That way, someone will know exactly what YOU are buying, exactly when, and exactly where.  Think that 'someone' will be an American?  You are really quite dense, aren't you!

Oh--by the way--if that someone doesn't like what he/she sees, well........they can shut down your account.

And you thought 1984 was prophetic?  Orwell could never imagine this!

Desperate Biden Pissing It Away

This BidenšŸ¤” is not a President.

He's a ward-heeler.  Currently, a desperate ward-heeler.

So he's going to piss away about 1/3rd of the country's strategic petroleum reserve.  Could we need that to supply the military?  How about the Border Patrol?  Various State police agencies--in case of emergency?

Sure.  That's the meaning of "strategic."  But 180 million barrels is about 10 days' consumption in the US.  Think that'll reduce the price of gasoline?  Think again.

To Big Guy, "strategic" means "Get my polls above 50%."

He's a ward-heeling grifter who stole the office he occupies and has no respect for anything or anyone.

Typical Democrat!

Hydrogen Fuel Cells a Little Closer!!

 This is a big deal.

A nitrogen doped carbon-coated nickel anode can catalyze an essential reaction in hydrogen fuel cells at a fraction of the cost of the precious metals currently used, Cornell University researchers have found.

The new discovery could accelerate the widespread use of hydrogen fuel cells, which hold great promise as efficient, clean energy sources for vehicles and other applications....--quoted at Ace of Spades.

Toyota is into fuel cells big-time.  GM, FoMoCo and Stellantis (not Chrysler) are also into the technology.  Unlike electrics, these do not require 2++++ hours to 'refuel' and they get far more miles.

Moving away from exotic metals (read:  Red China) is a very good thing--but Indonesia is not the ideal partner.  Maybe Philippines will be the ticket!!

"Big Guy": "No Oil for YOU!!"

We all know that BidenšŸ¤” is "Big Guy" in Hunter Biden's emails.  "Big Guy" gets 10% off the top of Hunter's grifts in Ukraine, Red China, and (maybe) Iran.

Big Guy has determined that your need for petroleum means nothing to him.

The Department of the Interior (DOI) projected offshore oil and gas lease revenues to decline from $395.5 million in fiscal year 2022 to just $25 million in 2023, a nearly 94% year-over-year decrease, according to the budget. The estimate, which marks a significant departure from U.S. energy policy stretching back years, was relegated to page 201 of the agency’s 208-page budget proposal....

...“The Interior Department’s budget suggests that there will not be any lease sales in the fiscal year of 2023 which ends in September 2023,” National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) Erik Milito told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “We know that because they’re not including any money that would come in through the lease sales.”...

That's because Big Guy didn't bother with a 5-year plan for offshore leases, which is required before any leasing ensues.

Hope you enjoy today's El Cheapo gasoline, diesel, and heating oil prices.  They'll go a LOT higher soon.

Little Darrell Brooks "Doesn't FEEEEEEEL Safe"

The guy who killed 6 people and injured a few dozen more in what could have been a major racist attack....has written a letter to his mommy.

...Brooks accuses correctional officers even other inmates of a lot – using racial slurs, making other verbal threats, violence and messing with his food. The bottom line is that Brooks writes he doesn't feel safe in the Waukesha County Jail....

Oh, my.  Darrell has the Saddzzzzzz.

That's terrible.

Shall we have a big community cry over this?  A hug?

FEC Fines (D) Campaigns for Hoax

The Fed Election Commission fined the Clinton campaign treasurer and the Democrat National Committee treasurer a total of $133,000.00 for the Russia Hoax.

Wow.

That's weaker than a Will Smith slap.

Why Dr. Collins Retired So Fast....

You remember Dr. Collins, right?  The old guy who plays guitar while running the National Institutes of Health, right?  Who suddenly needed to 'spend more time with the fam' or some such bullshit, right?

National Institutes of Health (NIH) documents obtained by a nonprofit watchdog in a federal court suit reveal that the agency deleted CCP virus genetic sequencing information from the Wuhan Institute of Virology at the Chinese lab’s request....

At Red China's request!!

How very..........ahhh.........professionally courteous of you, Dr. Collins!!

Wisconsin Common Sense

At this time, about 40% of Wisconsin residents have NOT been jabbed.

This is known as "common sense."

The number would likely be higher--perhaps 50%, if there had been no coercion by "enlightened ones."

Now let's look at Wisconsin's excess death-count to determine how we should react to the "enlightened ones;"  rope, trees, tar, feathers?  or just 30 years in the Graybar Hotel.

The Point of Zelenskiy's War

You could also call it Putin's war if you like.  To me, they're both power-mad totalitarian cretins.

But I digress.  Just in case you didn't know what the point of this whole thing is, Zelenskiy has another video out!!

...Zelenskyy urges the NATO alliance, specifically western Europe, to quickly adopt the Build Back Better climate change agenda as it helps his country.  He advocates for “green energy” as a top priority so that alliance members are not reliant on Russian energy sales.

If it seems a little odd that a president, in the middle of a war zone, would be advocating for the climate change agenda, you are not seeing the big picture.  Ukraine is a crisis that cannot be wasted.  The Green New Deal, Build Back Better, and western nation climate change agenda is far more important than a single proxy war nation.  Ukraine is a tool in the bigger agenda, nothing more.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is controlled by the western alliance, NATO, Dept of State, CIA and western allied intelligence.  This is part of the reason why Russia took action in the first place.  Zelenskyy has a role to play and pushing the Build Back Better (WEF) agenda, while the opportunity exists, is all part of the organized global cleaving....

I do not recall LBJ (nor even Bush the Dumber) appealing to The World to Go Green!!!! during combat operations.

Wilson certainly didn't.  And FDR's appeals were to conserve petroleum and coal, not to abandon it.

Well, we all have priorities, right?

Have Disney+? Disney? WHY??

Since Disney has been kind enough to tell you they are grooming your children--Pervasive Perversion would be the phrase.....

...leaked videos of an all-hands-on-deck meeting over HB 1557 have exposed just how far Disney’s leadership is willing to go to push their far-left, woke agenda. In a disturbing display, high-level employees talk about their “secret gay agenda,” erasing gender in theme parks, and the importance of “adding queerness” to children’s programming....

...[Disney] diversity and inclusion manager Vivian Ware says the company has eliminated all mentions of "ladies," "gentlemen," "boys," and "girls" in its theme parks in order to create "that magical moment" for children who do not identify with traditional gender roles....

Thanks for the info.

Child Abuse:  Showing Disney channel offerings to your children, hoping your kids won't be affected.

Is Bai-Den a Lawyer? Yup!!

The old joke was that you can tell a lawyer is lying because his lips are moving.

BidenšŸ¤” is most assuredly a lawyer and a liar.

Take his "fiscal responsibility" lie......please!

...$23,804,407,189,474.30 in federal debt consists of what the Treasury calls "debt held by the public." This is debt that has been financed through the sale of Treasury securities.

Under Biden's budget proposal, what is going to happen to this $23.8 trillion in "debt held by the public"? Will it be paid off? No. Will it be paid down? No.

According to Table S-10 in Biden's proposal, it is going to grow to $39.542 trillion by 2032. That is an increase of approximately $15.738 trillion from what the debt was Monday.

In fiscal 2023, according to the estimates Biden published in Table S-10 of his budget proposal, the federal debt held by the public will grow by $1.197 trillion. In each of the nine years after that, it will grow by increasing amounts. In 2032, the last year estimated in Biden's budget, the debt will increase by $1.815 trillion....

Ah, yes.  The "value" of fiscal responsibility.

The next deep recession is going to hit later this year or very early next.  Let's see how well his 'tax revenue' projections hold out then.  It'll be even more fun when the food riots break out, no?

It's Chess, Not Trench/Brute War

Scott Ritter appeared in a lengthy interview and described what the Russkies are doing in Ukraine.  Wauck is kind enough to provide an outline.

Briefly:  it's chess, not 'full-frontal' war.  And as you may recall, the Russkies are good at chess.

...Understand Russia started its “special military operation” with a severe manpower deficit—200,000 attackers to some 600,000 defenders (or more). Classic attritional conflict was never an option. Russian victory required maneuver.

3/ Maneuver war is more psychological than physical and focuses more on the operational than on the tactical level. Maneuver is relational movement—how you deploy and move your forces in relation to your opponent. Russian maneuver in the first phase of its operation support this....

Maneuver war includes feints and 'fixes.'  Schwarzkopf used it in Iraq.

... Russia also engaged in a campaign of strategic deep attack designed to disrupt and destroy Ukrainian logistics, command & control, and air power and long-range fire support. Ukraine is running out of fuel and ammo, cannot coordinate maneuver, and has no meaningful Air Force....

Now you know why Zelenskiy is making "negotiate for peace" noises regularly.  It's over.  The only question is this:  how many more Ukrainians have to die before BidenšŸ¤” allows Zelenskiy to surrender?

Just as important:  will the neo-Nazi terrorists within Ukraine agree to surrender?

Julie Kelly Wants Pubbies to Grow a Pair

Julie Kelly wants the Republicans to grow a pair.

Not much chance of that, is there?

...From now until Election Day, Republicans should do nothing but campaign on a long list of inquisitions that will begin the moment they take power. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) already promised to investigate at least seven scandals such as the deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan, the southern border, and the origins of COVID.

But that’s not enough. Public hearings on FBI corruption—from FISAgate to the alleged plot to “kidnap” Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to the department’s role in the events of January 6—should be at the top of the list.

The FBI has burned the trust of the American people; Republicans need to assume  responsibility for overhauling or dismantling the agency that now acts as the enforcement arm of the Democratic Party. Witnesses should include not just current and former officials but the journalists who do their dirty work—and the victims left in their wake.

Ditto for the Centers for Disease Control and the National Institutes of Health. Who is responsible for so much bad advice during the pandemic? Who profited? Who suffered? And who will pay for their destructive, essentially unscientific approach to public health?

Republican lawmakers don’t want to touch the Hunter Biden scandal, but they have no choice. The collaborative effort to quash any coverage of Biden’s laptop in the fall of 2020 amounted to election interference; there are plenty of accomplices, including former intelligence officials and social media platforms. A full-scale investigation, complete with public, sworn testimony by Hunter Biden himself, is vital.

And speaking of the 2020 election, the airing of election fraud evidence in key states that was scheduled to happen during the joint session on January 6, 2021—an intentionally overlooked detail from that day—must resume. The overwhelming majority of Republicans still believe the election was stolen, and election integrity is a top issue for Republican voters. Fear of being labeled an “insurrectionist” has cowed many congressional Republicans; time to get over it....

They will NEVER touch the FBIThe FBI has files.  Pictures.  Videos.  Names.  Addresses.  Dates.

CDC/NIHThat might require disclosure of stock holdings.  Heh.

Hunter Biden?  Don't make us laugh.  That will mean that Republicans will be under the hot-lights for their......ahhhh.........friendliness to other countries.  The ones which give gifts to relatives, just like they did for Hunter.

As to election fraud?  The Republicans will not do anything meaningful in the battleground States because those States are Too Big To Hurt.  Besides, the Republicans get their turn at "winning."  That's a long-standing arrangement.

There may be a few sacrificial lambs tossed to the wolves, of course.  They'll be the people that nobody liked anyway (probably because they were scrupulously honest in the first damn place.)  As to actual re-form?  Hah.

Z-Man puts it this way:

...The citizens of America trust that the way they choose leaders, while never perfect, eventually gets them leaders who address the needs of the people by respecting the will of the people. It may require a few elections, but the politicians eventually figure out what they need to do to make things right. This belief rests on the additional belief that the politicians want this result.

That is not reality and people are clearly beginning to understand this. Most Americans have no genuine representation in Congress. The Democrats represent abstract identity groups that get plenty of airtime but are a tiny minority. Most people, for example, only know crossdressers through the media, not in real life. Most black people can easily describe a woman. Of course, the GOP represents no one. White voters are well outside the ideological orbit of the Republicans....

Frankly, I don't think he's wrong.

Julie Kelly is a national treasure.  I hope she doesn't hold her breath waiting for her wish-list.

"Part-Time" Leggies?

Nicholson is kicking up a lot of dust.

The state Legislature would be in session fewer days and be paid less under an idea from a Republican candidate for governor who has centered his campaign on overhauling how state government works and has called for the GOP leader of the Assembly to lose his job.

Kevin Nicholson, a U.S. Marine veteran and Pewaukee business consultant, said reducing time and pay for lawmakers would focus the Legislature's work and attract newcomers with full-time jobs while saving money. ...

That's the "Good Old Days" plan; Ken Merkel was a Leggie for a zillion years while working full-time at Kearney and Trecker.

That plan worked very well.  Wisconsin had a lot less asinine laws, less Leggie-empowered regulators--it was a comparatively free State, measured against the Thompson-Doyle-Walker-Evers mess we have today.

The dumbest comment on Nicholson's idea?

...Former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, who is running against Nicholson in the Republican primary for governor, said Nicholson's proposal suggested he did not understand the job of lawmakers. ...

Maybe he understands it better than you do, RebeccaAnd maybe he's not kissing Leggie asses for a reason, Rebecca.

This is going to be a lot of fun!!

Biden: No Jobs for YOU!!

President Donald Trump placed tariffs on goods made in China, leveling the playing field so that those goods could be made in America and price out the same.  That way, Americans could have the jobs.  That's known as "Fair Trade."

BidenšŸ¤” reversed that.

...The China-made products that will escape U.S. tariffs thanks to Biden include breast pumps, solar water heaters, garage door openers, X-ray tables, and thermostats, as well as food products from China such as crab meat, Dungeness crab, and Alaskan sole....

Who needs "Fair Trade"?

You really didn't need "jobs", did you?

Li'l Marco's Liar's Poker

We are amused by the contortions Li'l Marco goes through.

This week on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) warned Russian President Vladimir Putin would try to use biological weapons during his ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

According to Rubio, Putin would likely try his attack “in a way that makes it look like someone else did it.” He explained that the Russian authoritarian would likely try to “stage” a chemical weapon attack to make it look like it was actually executed by Ukraine or NATO....

That's true.

It's ALSO true that Ukraine 'would likely try [an] attack “in a way that makes it look like someone else did it.”'

What we have here is Liar's Poker, Marco.  We knew that a long time ago.  We figured that out when we learned that Hunter Biden financed Ukraine's bio-weapons labs.  (Yes, I changed my mind on that matter.  More facts!)

You may sit down now, Marco.

New York Globalist Dame: "No Diesel for YOU!!"

This Yellen creature could only have come from one or two places--New York or San Francisco.

And she has a message for you peons:

..Yellen emphasizes the Biden administration position about how the conflict in Ukraine and the sanctions against Russia are an example of why the global energy resources need to fundamentally change to renewable resources. ...

Here's a thought:  why don't we "fundamentally change" the US Government so that it actually serves its population (the citizen part)?

Ballots or bullets.  Take your choice, Janet.

Biden Openly Pounding War Drums. Are You Ready?

Let's put this all together, frightening as it may be for Americans.

In the last few days, BidenšŸ¤” has:

1)  Told members of the 82nd Airborne, currently in Poland, that they will 'see soon' how the battle in Ukraine is going because they'll be 'there';

2)  Advocated for the overthrow of Putin in Russia; and

3)  Leaked a changed US nuclear-use policy to one which now includes "deterrence".

Rather than attempting to negotiate a peaceful resolution of the conflict--which actually is do-able--BidenšŸ¤” chose to tell Putin in no uncertain terms that the US Armed Forces will soon join the battle in Ukraine, using nukes if "necessary" (definition TBA), and that Putin is in the cross-hairs of the US Government.

If we had wanted War-Mongrel Hillary as President, we would have voted her in.

Did You Vaxx Your Kid? Too Bad!

You recall all the North Shore Nancies who formed a line to get The Vaxx into their children, right?

"Child abuse" comes to mind.

...According to the latest data from the US Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Covid infection rate among vaccinated children aged 5-11 is now higher than it is among their unvaccinated peers for the first time since the data started being collected.

The flip has been in the making for months, as the infection rate for vaccinated children has been creeping closer to the rate of unvaccinated cases for quite some time, eventually surpassing the latter in the week ending on Feb 19th....

Fortunately, Covid is usually not serious in kids that young.

It is serious for the next cohorts:  12-22, 23-33, and 34-50 or so.  They're dropping over dead, or having serious coronary-related problems, en masse.

Thanks, Mom!!

Bill Gates vs. Wendy's

Gates, like many of the uber-rich, has lost his mental balance.  (Howard Hughes, anyone?)

So he tells us that we should learn to love 'synthetic beef.'

This little old lady, who has not lost her balance, would be happy to slap some sense into Gates.

I hope she does.

How Do They Know?

Local Pravda asserts something not in evidence.

The Shorewood Police Commission has appointed Heather Wurth as the village’s first female police chief.

How do they know Wurth is "female"?

They are NOT biologists.

Pray Harder. Bai-Den Will Use Nukes in Offense

Biden has changed our nuclear bomb use doctrine.

...The leaked expansion reverses his 2020 campaign pledge, which declared that the “sole purpose” of U.S. nuclear weapons would be the deterrence of a nuclear attack....

...Biden’s new policy says the “fundamental” — but not the sole — purpose of the U.S. nuclear armory will be the deterrence of foreign nuclear attacks, according to the Wall Street Journal.

That carefully worded formulation, however, leaves open the possibility that nuclear weapons could also be used in “extreme circumstances” to deter enemy conventional, biological, chemical and possibly cyberattacks, said the officials.--quoting the WSJ

In other words, if President Soft-Serve is misled by his war-happy Globalists in State and Intel, he'll drop a couple on Moscow as a warning.

Remember the 'weapons of mass destruction' in Iraq?  Yah.  That sort of misleading.

The excuse for this?  'Oh, it's the same policy as we had during the Cold War.  No big deal.  Nothing to see here.  Move along'.

And then he said that Putin 'must be removed' as Russia's leader.  Putin will take that as a warning, of course.

The Cold War had a different enemy.  Putin ain't Khrushchev, and Russia is not the USSR.

And all the Presidents during the Cold War had all their faculties.

Joey's "Billionaire" Tax Has Ugly Side

Yah, sure, it's only the "billionaires."

Until it's everybody else, too.

President Joe Biden will announce a new minimum tax targeting billionaires as part of his 2023 fiscal year budget on Monday, according to the White House.

The Biden administration announced the proposal on Saturday in a fact sheet ahead of the budget release, stating that the president’s plan “rewards work, not wealth.”

Propaganda language there.

“President Biden’s Billionaire Minimum Income Tax will make America’s tax code fairer and reduce the deficit by about $360 billion in just the next decade,” the fact sheet stated.

Wanna bet?  Every President (and Congress) since 1990 or so has increased both the deficit and the national debt, which may soon be payable in Yuan, or gold, or sacrificial childrenHe lies.

As part of his 2023 budget, Biden is asking Congress to pass legislation mandating the richest American families to pay a minimum of 20 percent on all of their income, including unrealized investment income.
So you bought Apple stock at its IPO for $50.00/share and now it's worth $2500.00/share (whatever).  You never sold any of it; it's just sitting in your retirement account.  BidenšŸ¤” will tax that $2450.00 that you did NOT take in cash.

First off, what happens if Apple goes back to $50.00 the day after you pay that tax?  Do you get a refund?  Hell, no!

Secondly and far more important to us non-billionaires:  the principle has been set.  That gain-in-value on your houseYour retirement mutual fundThat's taxable, whether you sold the house and took the cash, or not.

You say you're not a billionaire?  It's 2040, with a (D) President and Congress and a huge budget deficit, again.  The rules changed.  That 'unrealized gain' tax now applies to anyone with an income over $100K.

You say you don't have the cash to pay a 15% tax on your $100K gain?

Tough.  Sell the house, or your car, or your stamp collection.  Or all of them.

My advice?  Don't sell the guns and ammo.

Child-Porn? Maine Democrat

There's a reason that the Democrats are pushing a woman (???) who's soft on child-porn lovers.

Former Maine gubernatorial candidate Eliot Cutler admitted to state police executing a search warrant at his Brooklin home on Wednesday that they would find child pornography on his electronic devices, the Hancock County district attorney said late Friday....

...The case against Cutler is one of the highest-profile ones ever brought against a prominent Maine political figure. Cutler, a wealthy lawyer born in Bangor, was an aide to U.S. Sen. Edmund Muskie and President Jimmy Carter in the 1960s and 1970s. He has been a major figure in international business and greater Portland’s civic world....

If he's that "high-profile" he's well-known to Sens. Collins and King.  Probably also known to the Bush fam, who maintained a second home/estate in Maine.

Ron Johnson, the Workingman's Friend

You could listen to the Democrat lies about Ron Johnson.

Or you could look at what he does for the workingman about what counts the most:  his health and that of his family.

Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson is blasting federal health agencies for their continued coverup of data relating to adverse side effects experienced by people who have received the Covid-19 jab.

In a Wednesday letter exclusively obtained by The Federalist, Johnson criticized the federal government for its lack of transparency over the Covid-19 pandemic, saying he has “written 35 letters to the Executive Branch asking questions related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the federal government’s response to it” and that the “grossly inadequate response to [his] legitimate oversight demonstrates a level of arrogance toward the American public that is unacceptable.”...

Half-truths about taxes are not relevant if you are dead due to Government lying and hiding information, and really irrelevant if that lying and hiding kills you or your spouse--or your children.

So who's really your friend?

The Nekulturniy West's War

Wauck follows Luongo who sees this Ukraine thing differently--through the eyes of Global Kulturkampf.  And why not?  Any fool can see it here in the USA, most recently at the SCOTUS hearings where a "highly-educated" representative of the Nekulturniy declares that (s)he cannot define "woman" and has a soft spot in her heart for the most depraved of criminals:  baby-rapists.  Then there's the near-worship of homosexuals and transsexuals, the demolition of words, the denial of truth (pick any one), the active measures against Church and family..........need we go on?

... [Those who support Ukraine] are not supporting the right to self-determination by a people acting freely here. Ukraine is a puppet state crucial to an aggressive war of conquest by the very people who brought you two years of privation and humiliation over COVID and now want to farm you as tax cattle while living in an unescapable Orwellian Panopticon....

After the West failed to overthrow the governments of Belarus and Kazakhstan (as the West had done in Ukraine)...

This war was chosen by the West. It was designed this way. All “attempts” at diplomacy by NATO, the UK, France and the US were simply nothing more than time-buying exercises to build up Ukraine’s strength to launch a blitz of the Donbass and sanction Russia for even responding.

Is it mere coincidence that Abp. Vigano has the same idea?

...The ideological continuity between the pandemic farce and the Russian-Ukrainian crisis continues to emerge, beyond the evidence of the events and statements of the subjects involved, in the fact that the ultimate perpetrators of both are the same, all attributable to the globalist cabal of the World Economic Forum.”...

Did Putin "start the war"?  Under Luongo's thesis, no.  Note what Luongo said about Donbass, where the Ukrainian army is concentrated.  Instead, Russia launched a self-defense offensive, the objective being return of Eastern Ukraine/Donbass to Russia, as it was under Catherine the Great and the succeeding Tsars.  The objective is NOT Kiev, nor Lvov.  Military installations in those areas were targeted and Russia insists that civilian casualties are as minimal as possible.

...When Putin ordered a massive multi-front invasion he was simply pre-empting an attack that was coming.

The sanctions packages implemented since then were already prepared. They were happening no matter what move Putin made....

Putin knew about them (he does have spies, you know.)  In fact, he referred to them in previous remarks.

The most explosive charge?

...Davos is intentionally, through Biden, Blinken and NATO, trying to destroy the world economy so no one needs Russian energy while killing off millions more useless eaters....
No question that Biden's doing his part here in the US.

Luongo makes the point that Russia is only the first commodity-seller (wheat, corn, fertilizer, petroleum) to demand payment in either rubles or gold.  He suspects that others (Saudi Arabia, India, Indonesia, e.g.) will do the same, using gold, riyals, or rupees (etc.) as the currency.  That will reduce the value of the USD--which has been fiat since Nixon--and certainly will help to damage the US economy.

The missing piece here?  China.  Maybe Luongo thinks that China will be happy to sit on the sidelines, quietly providing Putin with whatever he needs while watching the Global West sink into the mire in Ukraine.  That remains to be seen, although China must be happy with what's transpired so far.  Will China take the opportunity to grab Taiwan?  Why not?  Who's going to stop that??

Either way, this is a Culture War as much as a hot one.  Tech, finance (BlackRock), and Government have their moment because Biden/Deep State, and they intend to use it.  You will be tax-farmed, and you may have nothing--but you will like it, comrade.

How long will that last?

The Hunger Games will tell, won't they?

OK, But How's Your Story???

They actually believe this crap.

”Strategic success in the 21st century is not about a physical land grab of territory; that’s what Putin has done.  In this century, strategic power is increasingly measured and exercised by economic strength, by technological sophistication and your story – who you are, what your values are; can you attract ideas and talent and goodwill? And on each of those measures, this will be a failure for Russia.”

--quoted at Last Refuge.

That's a State Department critter, telling the world that military brute force is not really a big deal.

If so, why all the wailing from Ukraine???

Putin's Excellent Question

The New CDC Joke

You all know this joke.  CDC has given it new life!

Q:  How do you know CDC is lying?

A:  Their lips are moving.

The Lee Fam, NCAA, and Al

We watched this game last night and learned that the ball-handler was the son of Butch Lee, the MU ball-handler during the Al McGuire years and the 1977 NCAA Championship.

Wow.

Maybe Butch Lee was advising St. Peter's coach, because we saw the "scrambled eggs" move.  McGuire used that early in his time at Marquette; he would replace the entire team with subs for 5 minutes or so St. Peter did the same thing.  Was McGuire crazy?  Maybe.  It's an OODA-loop move and variants abound.  Trump was very successful with 'crazy' when dealing in foreign policy, e.g.

But the 'scrambled eggs' thing really hit home when it was announced that Matthew Lee was Butch's kid.

Memories!

About that "Food Shortage" Thing

BidenšŸ¤” announced that there will be food shortages around the world AND in the US due to Russia's war on Ukraine.  Russia sells about 30% of the fertilizer used in the US and the percentage is far greater in other countries.  Ukraine and Russia together produce about 13% of the food-calories consumed worldwide.  And let's not forget that there are serious drought conditions in the Midwest and West of the USA.

Meantime, the BidenšŸ¤” Administration has been busy with more handouts, specifically to farmers.

The Biden administration announced on Wednesday that it would expand a program that pays farmers to leave land fallow, part of a broader, government-wide effort to cut greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030. The new initiative will incentivize farmers to take land out of production by raising rental rates and incentive payments. ...

Good.  If we're going to have a food shortage, make it a good one!!  That way, we can have another crisis!

Manchin: The Good, The Bad

First, the good about Manchin, who recently forced the Federal Energy Commission to reverse an order which put a lot of pipeline development in jeopardy.  That was good, and there's more!

...The senator said FERC is intentionally withholding guidance from permit seekers. When he was West Virginia's governor, Manchin said, he told state regulators, "If you go out with a cease and desist order before you try to help someone do something right and tell them what they’re doing wrong, shame on you. Shame on all of you."...

Manchin identified the regulatory game which stifles all sorts of progress, whether in energy development or in barbershop placement.  It's the "Power of NO!!".  (The "Power of NO!!!" has been explained by Bongino.  For a government, there is zero power in saying "Yes."  But there is unlimited power in saying "NO!!"  So Government favors the "NO!!" because it can extract a lot of money from you.  Regulators can say "NO!!" or they can refuse to properly assist.  It has the same effect.)

Think that FERC will actually help energy developers?  Hell, no!  But Manchin called them out.

The bad news:  Manchin unexpectedly announced that he would support Jackson for SCOTUS, calling her "well-qualified."  How he defines "well-qualified" is known only to him and his masters in the Senate.  Some practiced observers were near-certain that Manchin was a 'no' vote, so something was promised.

Oh, well.

About the WI Nursing Home Vote

This guy delivers a compact (10 minutes), articulate, and eminently reasonable critique of the Democrat Election Machine Wisconsin Election Commission's nursing-home law violation.

He gets a little excitable at the end of the tape.  Surely he's kidding.

Right?  He's kidding.  Umnnnhhhh......

Ukraine's Bio-Weapon Labs

Carlson did some homework on the question of bio-weapon labs in Ukraine.  Bongino shows the clip.

Carlson's report indirectly and partially confirms what Steve Hatfill told Bannon (as we reported several days ago.)

Hatfill suggested that a number of those labs were garden-variety research facilities used to identify pathogens found in crops, farm animals (cows, pigs, etc.), and hospitalized people.  Hatfill also said that he remains obligated by US Government secrecy oath (intelligence)--and thus there are things that Hatfill could not say.

Carlson found out what Hatfill could not disclose.

And of course, Hunter Biden helped obtain the financing for the labs.

Consequences for Jackson Leniency

Since Jackson seems to be all warm and cuddly with baby-rapists and their admirers, we can speculate that there will be a reaction.

Unintended consequences, so to speak.

A Texas father who discovered a man raping his five-year-old daughter and beat him to death with his bare hands will not be charged with homicide under state law.

A Lavaca County grand jury decided not to press charges against the 23-year-old father in the June 9th death of Jesus Mora Flores, 47, who was killed inside a remote shack after he was caught molesting the young girl....

Then there's the case of a Wisconsin woman who killed her abuser.

Not likely that Jackson cares one way or the other.  But vigilantism foreseeable, if not desirable.

WHAT Did Biden Say???

It's written off as a 'stumble,' but ......

President Joe Biden stumbled in a speech to American troops stationed in Poland on Friday, previewing what they would see when they arrived in Ukraine.

You’re going to see, when you’re there, and some of you have been there, you’re going to see women, young people, standing in front of a damn tank just saying, ‘I’m not leaving, I’m holding my ground,'” Biden said. “They’re incredible.”...

...Biden repeatedly spoke about Ukraine to the troops, telling them they were there to support the Ukrainian people, even though he has repeatedly promised not to send American troops into the country....

Huh.  The polls are still bad in the US, so BidenšŸ¤” needs a hot war?

By the way, the local FoxNews station did not include that quotation in their "news" segment on Ukraine, although it did carry footage of his speaking to the troops.

Larry Fink vs. Your Liberty

A lot of pundits concentrated on Larry Fink's "....end of globalization...." remark in his recent shareholder letter.

They missed the real news.  But the Last Refuge didn't.

...we had no idea Blackrock CEO Larry Fink was essentially going to confirm the premise of our prediction.  Keep in mind, any digital currency can only work if there is a digital identity attributed to it – what some have called a digital passport which then creates a crypto wallet....

(Quoting Reuters)

...Fink said the war will push countries to reassess currency dependencies, and that BlackRock was studying digital currencies and stablecoins due to increased client interest.

A global digital payment system, thoughtfully designed, can enhance the settlement of international transactions while reducing the risk of money laundering and corruption”, he said. ...

It will also reduce the independence (liberty) of citizens to spend where, when, and on what to zero, for it is impossible to have a 'digital currency' without a digital ID methodThat digital ID can then be limited, directed, or shut off by action from the Governing Authority--whoever that might be.

All y'all will love living in a Biden/Ketanji/Zuckerberg/Schwab world, no?  Well......get used to it.

Picture, 1000 Words Ketanji Edition

Snatched with glee from Grim:

Remember the Mariupol Theatre Massacre?

Remember that made-for-teeeeveee massacre that happened at a theatre in Mariupol?

Hmmmm.  Seems to have disappeared from MSM propaganda shows coverage.  There may be a reason for that.

...A closer look reveals that local residents in Mariupol had warned three days before the March 16 incident that the theater would be the site of a false flag attack launched by the openly neo-Nazi Azov Battalion, which controlled the building and the territory around it.

Civilians that escaped the city through humanitarian corridors have testified that they were held by Azov as human shields in area, and that Azov fighters detonated parts of the theater as they retreated. Despite claims of a massive Russian airstrike that reduced the building to ashes, all civilians appear to have escaped with their lives.

Video of the attack on the theater remains unavailable at the time of publication; only photographs of the damaged structure can be viewed. The Russian Ministry of Defense has denied conducting an airstrike on the theater, asserting that the site had no military value and that no sorties were flown in the area on March 16....

More propaganda?

Maybe.  The fact that this "attack" has been memory-holed by the MSM tells you a lot.

Cherokee County and Elmbrook Schools: Peas in a Pod

This story comes out of Cherokee County, GA., about an hour north of Atlanta.

A Georgia parent was stopped from reading an excerpt from a book at a school board meeting last week because it was 'inappropriate,' even as the novel remains available to high school students in the district.

The book contains soft-core porn (text, no pix.)

Apparently school board members are irony-immune all across the fruited plain.

The same kind of jackassery happens in the Elmbrook (WI) school district!!

...The parent became aware that in January, a male teacher invited two female students to his classroom for “lunch bunch.” The parent didn’t know his daughter was involved in this club until she came home describing the explicit music that the male teacher played for her and a friend. When the parent brought this up to the Principal, Matt Schroeder, he received a dismissive response.

Therefore, the parent spoke about this issue during the public comment section (known as Citizens' Forum) at the March Board meeting - reciting some of the lyrics played for his daughter. This finally prompted a response from the District. Unfortunately, the response wasn’t against the teacher, but against the parent by threatening to charge him with disorderly conduct....

I wonder if the Elmbrook school board President Scott Wheeler can define "Woman."

Let's not ask.

The Usual Excuse Won't Work Here

First of all, learn HOW to carry concealed so it doesn't fall out of your pants.

Secondly, make sure your CCL is current.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office has referred criminal charges against a county supervisor who allegedly concealed a gun illegally at a March 9 board meeting.

Supervisor Timothy Michalak, who is also Hartford's mayor, allegedly did not have a valid concealed carry permit when the gun in question dropped from his waistband....

Umnnnnh.  That's embarrassing.

...State law states that people with a valid concealed carry permit can carry firearms in government buildings. However, they cannot carry them in public safety buildings, such as a sheriff's office. People who don't have a concealed carry permit cannot have a concealed gun in any government building.

The investigation found, according to the sheriff's office, that Michalak's permit had expired at the time of the incident....

Oh.  The renewal costs almost nothing, by the way.

So how does Mayor Michalak explain this?

...Michalak implied that, as an elected official, he thought he was exempt from the law and could have his gun inside police departments and the sheriff’s office....

Not a smart move.  You're not Hunter Biden, pal.

This is "Anti-Semitic"? Nope.

Really?

Reports of antisemitic incidents to Milwaukee’s Jewish Community Relations Council remained near record-high levels in 2021, the council's annual audit found.

"Anti-Semitism" includes something called "Holocaust minimization" which--for your edification--is demonstrated by the sign this woman is wearing.

A lot of Americans were ostracized, fired, and harassed over their refusenik status, and that harassment continues through today.  That sign honors Jewish victims by memorializing their suffering.

Protesters march in opposition of vaccine mandates for hospital employees outside Bellin and St. Vincent hospitals along Webster Avenue on Aug. 11, 2021, in Green Bay, Wis.

Someone needs to take a chill pill.

Biden: 'You Will Have Nothing to Eat and You Will Like It!'

The Russian incursion into the BidenšŸ¤” family's sugar-daddy country will have a cost.

You may not eat as much as usual.

..."It’s going to be real," Biden said at a news conference in Brussels. "The price of the sanctions is not just imposed upon Russia. It’s imposed upon an awful lot of countries as well, including European countries and our country as well."...

So what we have is an undeclared war against Russia which will result in food and fuel shortages around the world.

Hunter and Joe Biden will be able to afford whatever they want; their payoffs from the Zelenskiy Corrupto-State were secured long ago.

How's your supply of cake holding out?

'Animal Farm' in NYC

Apparently the black Mayor of New York City does not understand the term "equal treatment."

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is exempting performers and athletes from the city’s private sector vaccine mandate, claiming that they are simply “leveling the playing field for New Yorkers and supporting local businesses and performance venues across the city,” despite keeping the mandate in place for other private workers....

Some people are more equal than others, ya'know.

Import Nurses?

Apparently there is a shortage of nurses.  So politicians will solve that problem!!

...foreign nurses should get U.S. nursing jobs because not enough Americans are interested in nursing careers, said a statement from Rep. Tom Cole (R-OK). “Federal resources are scarce and inadequate to finance an expansion of our medical training system,” he said in a February 25 statement to Breitbart News.

“The number of Americans interested in pursuing health care professions has unfortunately not kept pace with the growing demand … [so] allowing skilled, foreign medical professionals to practice in the U.S. is a suitable alternative,” Cole’s statement said. “While I wish more Americans were choosing to pursue education and professions in the health care field, the reality is that our country has a serious labor shortage and simply cannot fulfill the demand,” he said....

All well and good, if and only if the imported nurses passed the NCLEX nursing exam.  Otherwise, it's just another cheap labor trick.

You trust the politicians?

Crime Stats? WHAT Crime Stats?

It seems that the FEEBS will not publish the trends/analyses of the quarterly crime statistics because not enough municipalities would cooperate by turning in their numbers.

One could speculate on what sort of mayors & cops would gladly withhold those stats and it's not hard to see which ones are withholding.

One could also speculate that the FEEBS were ordered not to publish and yes, this is an election year.

One would be an idiot to believe the FEEBS' story on 'the reason'.  They haven't said anything credible since Trump won.

So it's BidenšŸ¤” quashing it or Democrat mayors not cooperating.

Or both.

Summing Bai-Den & Co.

PowerLine has slightly re-written a famous teeeeveee introduction.

It applies directly to the BidenšŸ¤” Administration and the Democrat party.

“You’re traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a land of delusion, self-abasement, suicidal ideation, and madness disguised as statecraft. That’s the signpost up ahead – your next stop, the Twilight Zone!”

Come to think of it, it also applies to Ketanji Jackson!!

Albright: "The Price Was Worth It."

Sure, Madeline.  Whatever you say.

US Position: Extend the War, Bring Down Putin

According to this essay in Bloomberg, the US position vis-a-vis the war:  extend it for as long as possible, which will bring down Putin.

Which is just fine and dandy, if you're not a dead Ukrainian, or a refugee Ukrainian, or--for that matter--a dead Russkie soldier.

Hmmmm.  The Establishment's total disregard for life, again.  In spades.

...The optimism, however, is the assumption that allowing the war to keep going will necessarily undermine Putin’s position; and that his humiliation in turn will serve as a deterrent to China. I fear these assumptions may be badly wrong and reflect a misunderstanding of the relevant history....

...As for China, I believe the Biden administration is deeply misguided in thinking that its threats of secondary sanctions against Chinese companies will deter President Xi Jinping from providing economic assistance to Russia....

Ferguson then goes through the military aspects.  In short:  forget about the western (Kiev/Lvov region) of Ukraine.  Look at the Eastern and Southern portions--which are the ones Putin really wants.

Meantime....reminding us of the utter failure of Hilary Clinton (and GWBush, for that matter):

...I fail to see in current Western strategizing any real recognition of how badly this war could go for Ukraine in the coming weeks. The incentive for Putin is obviously to create for himself a stronger bargaining position than he currently has before entering into serious negotiations. The Ukrainians have shown their cards. They are ready to drop the idea of NATO membership; to accept neutrality; to seek security guarantees from third parties; to accept limits on their own military capability....

Where is Putin going?

...Fresh evidence that Putin’s project is not the resurrection of the Soviet Union, but looks back to tsarist imperialism and Orthodoxy, was provided by his speech at the fascistic rally held on Friday at Moscow’s main football stadium. Its concluding allusion to the tsarist admiral Fyodor Ushakov, who made his reputation by winning victories in the Black Sea, struck me as ominous for Odesa....

Again, it's the culture--something the Enlightened West thinks can be ignored or memory-holed.  They can think so, but at enormous risk to themselves and their project.

Schwab, Gates, the State Department, the entire Biden Administration, and a good chunk of the GOPe are actively 'nekulturniy' (in Putin terms) and horrifically materialist/secularist (in our terms.)  The term "hubris" leaps to mind.

Ferguson concludes:

...In my view — and I really would love to be wrong about this — the Biden administration is making a colossal mistake in thinking that it can protract the war in Ukraine, bleed Russia dry, topple Putin and signal to China to keep its hands off Taiwan....

Won't be the first nor the last colossal mistake from that bunch.

War.  Pestilence.  Famine (upcoming.)

"Clean" Election in WI? NOPE!!

This is another thing the local Pravda will spike.

...Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of Houston, Texas-based True the Vote, is expected to testify about the geospatial technology her organization used in tracking trillions of data points around drop boxes in Milwaukee, Green Bay, Racine and other so-called Wisconsin-5 cities.

The geofencing project tracked individuals repeatedly going to and from liberal activist groups and drop boxes, Engelbrecht said.

“Some people were going to as many as 12 to 15 drop boxes a day,” she told Wisconsin Spotlight in an interview. Engelbrecht called the individuals “mules,” like drug mules, but in this case illegally carrying votes.

“This is organized crime,” she said....

Gee, Robin!!  Still think drop-boxes are a good idea?

SCOTUS Slams Hagedorn

The US Supreme Court just told little-boy Justice Hagedorn that he doesn't know squat about the 14th Amendment.

About damn time someone put that boy through school; apparently Northwestern Law didn't do it for him.

Vote for Tammy = Vote for Child Abusers?

Sometime in the near future, Tammy Baldwin (D-Madistan) will vote on Ketanji Jackson.

Ketanji Jackson favors child-rapists and child-porn distributors.

So if Tammy does as her masters tell her--as usual--Tammy will vote FOR Jackson.

Good.

In 2024, Tammy will have to run again.

S'pose her handlers want to see "A Vote for Tammy Is a Vote for Child Abusers!!" billboards?

K Jackson: Liar

Frankly, we don't think that Ketanji is confused.

We think she's a subversive.

Here's ANOTHER example.

...Jackson has made a note in her opinions to employ the term “noncitizen” or “undocumented non-citizens” rather than the terms “alien” or “illegal aliens” that are regularly used in court and in federal statutes.

During her third day of confirmation hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Jackson defended using the terms “noncitizen” and “undocumented non-citizens” when referring to border crossers and illegal aliens....

"I have long believed in that capacity that our clarity and language matters."

So she obfuscates.  That's "lying" by trying to confuse you.

There are lots of "non-citizens" legally in this country.  Tourists.  Employees of foreign embassies.  Employees of foreign-based businesses.

All of those are legally here.

Then there are "non-citizens" who are illegally here.  About 15 million of them, and growing at 200,000/month.

See the difference?  "Legally" vs. "Illegally"??

"Clarity" -- like the truth--is not in Ketanji.

Ketanji Whatever Is a Nutbag

We're giving her all the respect she deserves, which is none.

Cannot define the beginning of life.  Cannot define "woman" despite having written several opinions using that term.  Loves her some racissssss instruction for school children--but if those children are raped, why, their rapist (or the guy circulating pictures of their rape) shouldn't really do much time, especially if the perp has degrees and awards 'n stuff.

Maybe you noticed her condescending sneer?

She's a nutbag, and I'm being very kind.  She was mal-educated and spoiled rotten by someone.  Fits right into a BidenšŸ¤” government, but not into any court.

Refuse to consent, then begin impeachment proceedings to get her off the DC Circuit.

Are You SURE He Won't Go Nuke?

This excerpt should make people think.

...In the Cold War America based its nuclear strategy on an intellectual framework that was false.

It defined standards of ‘rationality’ then concluded the Soviets would not use nuclear weapons in many scenarios. There was a governing tautology: rational leaders would be deterred otherwise they would be irrational. Given this tautology, more vulnerability improves ‘stability’ (e.g submarine launched weapons), while better defence is ‘destabilising’ (e.g missile defence)....

...After the 1991 collapse some scholars went to talk to those actually in charge in Russia. They read documents. They discovered that we’d been wrong in crucial ways all along. Actually the Soviets planned early and heavy use of nuclear weapons in many scenarios including outbreak of conventional war in Europe.

The theoretical basis of some of the west’s analysis, such as game theory from the likes of the economist Schelling, had been disastrously misleading....

 --quoted at Vox

Levin and Hannity are among the people who are certain that pushing the issue by openly sending arms to Ukraine won't make a difference in Putin's tactics; if anything, Putin will just back down like a good, rational, leader.  They're wrong, as the red-highlighted history shows.

But there's another risk:  what if someone, somewhere, in the bowels of the chain-of-command, makes a mistake?

"Ooops!!" won't get that nuke-tipped missile back into its silo.

As To Liiiinnnnnndseeeeeeey.....

The summary on Liiiinnnnnnnndseeeeeeey's Drama Queen act yesterday?

...Like political ads during tough re-election fights, or faking being conservative at Judiciary Committee hearings about SCOTUS nominees, or calling for the assassination of nuclear-armed foreign leaders as well as unarmed American citizens. Who the hell does this fey fraud think he's fooling?...

Not me.

SEC to Strangle You Softly

The SEC has proposed a new rule for publicly-held companies which requires that they disclose their "green" status (that's a short summary.)

Except it isn't just "publicly-held" companies.

It's all of them plus anyone supplying them with goods or services.  Think privately-held 2nd- or 3rd-tier suppliers to GM, or Ford, or Stellantis--or anyone else.  Those car-haulers?  Yup.  Mold-makers?  Yup.

...For example, Exxon Mobil would have to report its direct emissions as well as any from fossil fuels burned to generate the electricity it uses. It may have to quantify emissions from the combustion of its products, the tankers that deliver them, and the manufacturing of its rigs and plastic products when they degrade....

It gets even better, (for lawyers.)

...Scope 3 emissions have no clear definition. The agency says it has “not proposed a bright-line quantitative threshold for the materiality determination” for Scope 3 emissions because this “would depend on the particular facts and circumstances, making it difficult to establish a ‘one size fits all’ standard.”

Yet the overall rule would impose a one-size-fits-all regulation on thousands of public companies. A property and casualty insurer’s exposure to flood or wildfire zones is probably material. Ditto direct emissions of fossil-fuel producers that operate in jurisdictions with carbon taxes or cap-and-trade systems....

The objective?  To strangle US industrials.  Why?  Great Reset, that's why.

You will own nothing and you will like it.

Dane County Wackos, Part 320,667

There are a few hundred thousand Dane County wack-jobs.  This is the latest.

A Dane County supervisor wants to eliminate the Pledge of Allegiance from county board meetings, claiming the recitation is divisive. ...
Well it is, if your allegiance is to some other country.  In Dane County, that's not unusual.

Feeeeeellllz Sorry for Child Porn Pervs?

BidenšŸ¤” managed to find a woman who feels sorry for child-porn perverts.  Yah, THAT child porn, where you can hear the screams of the kids.........

Anyhow, this woman (!!!) doesn't want them to be "labeled" as sex offenders, because they might be shunned, or people might call them names, or something something.  Also, that 'going to prison' stuff is just too much for the perverts to bear.  They should be out and about in shopping centers and school zones, she says.

We expect the Marxism and racism from a BidenšŸ¤” nominee, female or not.

We never expected a woman who feeeeeeeeeellzzz sorry for child-porn perverts.

Dept of Totes INjustice

Andy McCarthy will be along shortly with an excuse for this.

Bombshell Microsoft Corporation legal documents released by Project Veritas reveal that President Biden’s Department of Justice filed a series of secret warrants, orders, and a subpoena to surreptitiously collect privileged, and constitutionally protected, communications and contacts of eight Project Veritas journalists from Microsoft Corporation.

The Department of Justice then muzzled Microsoft from disclosing these orders via a series of secrecy orders signed by magistrates.

The documents further reveal the DOJ then went behind U.S. District Court Judge, Analisa Torres’, back to obtain extensions on the gag-orders on Microsoft from magistrate judges after Judge Torres ruled Project Veritas was entitled to “journalistic privileges.”...

Why yes, you ARE in a surveillance state.

Bai-Den's Oil Price Effect

The Saudis won't take phone calls from BidenšŸ¤”  There's a reason for that.

Biden backs Iran which backs the Houthi...which are attacking petroleum facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Joe has made hundreds of bad choices.  But now they count more than ever.

Bai-Den Moving In on Gun Retailers

The BidenšŸ¤” administration will be looking to terminate FFLs.

...last December, ATF updated its Federal Firearms Licensee Quick Reference and Best Practices Guide. The updated guide makes clear that “ATF will, absent extraordinary circumstances, initiate proceedings to revoke the license of any dealer that has committed a willful regulatory violation of the Gun Control Act (GCA) for specified violations.”...

The article lists which violations ATF will punish (with the 'death penalty' for the dealer.)

...While some of these may be serious violations that warrant revocation, many will be simple paperwork errors. Notably, “falsifying records” is a very broad category that can include making simple errors on the Form 4473, and “failing to respond to a trace request” could result from simply missing an attempted contact by ATF.

The new “zero tolerance” policy has a clear aim of reducing the number of federally licensed dealers,

Surprised?

Ukraine Mimics Hezbollah

Can't say Zelenskiy doesn't learn new tricks.

The Ukrainian government has repeatedly condemned Russia for its bombardment of residential areas that the besieged country claims have no strategic military equipment....

In the case of a shopping center:

...The Kremlin issued a statement confirming that the bombardment struck the intended target which the Russians claimed was housing rockets used by Ukrainians in nearby multi-launch systems.

...Ukraine initially chose to dispute these assertions. The office of the Prosecutor General condemned the strike as “premeditated murder” that violated “the laws and customs of war” implicitly arguing that the target was illegitimate and solely used by civilians....

... a UAV tails a number of Ukrainian military vehicles en route to the mall, indicating that this strike wasn’t the product of a loose-lipped Ukrainian seeking internet fame. Russian officials have long claimed that Ukraine’s military is using the citizens as ‘meat shields’ to either inhibit Russia’s ability to attack or paint Russia as genocidal to the international community....

Hezbollah uses the same technique:  put military assets in residential areas, hospitals, schools, and then scream like Hell when Israel smacks them.

Noteworthy:  the Russkie missiles hit the shopping center late at night and very early morning.  That's not 'shopping hours.'

Boiled down:  Zelenskiy is not nearly the "macho man" he'd like you to think he is.  He's hiding behind diapers and skirts.

The Good Old Days (1823)

Natural rights and 'privileges and immunities' in a very short SCOTUS excerpt, found at PowerLine.

The inquiry is, what are the privileges and immunities of citizens in the several states? We feel no hesitation in confining these expressions to those privileges and immunities which are, in their nature, fundamental; which belong, of right, to the citizens of all free governments; and which have, at all times, been enjoyed by the citizens of the several states which compose this Union, from the time of their becoming free, independent, and sovereign. What these fundamental principles are, it would perhaps be more tedious than difficult to enumerate. They may, however, be all comprehended under the following general heads: Protection by the government; the enjoyment of life and liberty, with the right to acquire and possess property of every kind, and to pursue and obtain happiness and safety; subject nevertheless to such restraints as the government may justly prescribe for the general good of the whole.

The right of a citizen of one state to pass through, or to reside in any other state, for purposes of trade, agriculture, professional pursuits, or otherwise; to claim the benefit of the writ of habeas corpus; to institute and maintain actions of any kind in the courts of the state; to take, hold and dispose of property, either real or personal; and an exemption from higher taxes or impositions than are paid by the other citizens of the state; may be mentioned as some of the particular privileges and immunities of citizens, which are clearly embraced by the general description of privileges deemed to be fundamental: to which may be added, the elective franchise, as regulated and established by the laws or constitution of the state in which it is to be exercised. These, and many others which might be mentioned, are, strictly speaking, privileges and immunities, and the enjoyment of them by the citizens of each state, in every other state, was manifestly calculated (to use the expressions of the preamble of the corresponding provision in the old articles of confederation) “the better to secure and perpetuate mutual friendship and intercourse among the people of the different states of the Union.”...

All that disappeared in 1873 with the Slaughterhouse cases, according to PowerLine.

Kennan: Right Then, Right Now on Russia

"X", who was George Kennan, was arguably the best Russian/Cold War analyst ever produced by this country.

What did he have to say about the NATO expansions made in 1999-2017, pushed by the increasingly suspect State Department and blessed by a series of either stupid, malevolent, or hoodwinked Presidents?

... I think it is the beginning of a new cold war.” At the Madrid Summit the year prior, NATO member nations agreed to invite Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic to begin accession negotiations. On March 12, 1999, the three nations were granted full NATO membership and the protections that comes with it, bringing the total number of countries in the NATO alliance to 19.

“The Russians will gradually react quite adversely and it will affect their policies. I think it is a tragic mistake,” Kennan told Friedman. “There was no reason for this whatsoever. No one was threatening anybody else. This expansion would make the Founding Fathers of this country turn over in their graves. We have signed up to protect a whole series of countries, even though we have neither the resources nor the intention to do so in any serious way.”

Kennan also pilloried how the Senate, which “has no real interest in foreign affairs,” so casually and  “light-hearted[ly]” went about its business with respect to NATO expansion. ”What bothers me is how superficial and ill informed the whole Senate debate was,” Kennan went on to say.  ”I was particularly bothered by the references to Russia as a country dying to attack Western Europe. Don’t people understand? Our differences in the cold war were with the Soviet Communist regime. And now we are turning our backs on the very people who mounted the greatest bloodless revolution in history to remove that Soviet regime.”...

A Senate in which Hillary Clinton was a member, along with McConnell, Graham, and BidenšŸ¤”.

Marvelous.

Child Porn? No Problem w/Judge Jackson!

"Child porn" is a term which minimizes the videotaping of horrific rapes of very, very young children.  Think 5-year-olds.

So when a SCOTUS nominee hands out extremely light sentences for distribution/possession of child porn, citizens are owed an explanation.

But that's not going to happen, because the Child Porn Judge's records are being hidden by the Democrat Party.  (That raises questions about the Democrat Party, doesn't it?)

Judge Jackson also favors babykilling and racist education.  Neither of them is surprising, given that it's BidenšŸ¤” who nominated her.

But that child porn thing is very curious, no?  Who's pushing for this nominee, anyway?

Woodall-Vogg to Rig Elections Remotely

Perhaps Ms. Woodall-Vogg has a sense of humor.  More likely?  Nope.

"Should MKE host the RNC, you will find me working remotely out of state that week, lest I be hung in the town square like some have threatened."

She'll be at the HQ of Dominion Voting Machines rigging the next election.
