Lindsey vs. Your Internet Privacy

Well, yes, "internet privacy" is like "military intelligence."  Oxymoron.  OK.

But Little Lindsey, the Big Talk guy, has a Bloomberg-esque bill on internet regulation.

If Sen. Lindsey Graham gets his way, the federal government will launch another attack on online privacy. The South Carolina Republican will ask lawmakers to give Attorney General William Barr and the Department of Justice unchecked access to all of your messaging, file-sharing, and video-sharing tools....

Cute, eh?

But then Little Lindsey, bless his heart, goes the extra mile!  See, Little Lindsey, like all Congress-slime, doesn't want to be responsible for his action here.  So...........

...The commission’s “recommendations” would then go to the attorney general, who can approve or disapprove what are essentially new regulations. This means unelected officials would be granted vast power to regulate technology and invade our privacy....
....and Little Lindsey will be around to promise "REFORM!!!  REFORM!!" of the law when something goes wrong.  Which it will.

Little Lindsey knows how to keep his job.
