The Union Pacific railroad told Pilot/Flying J to reduce their DEF (Diesel Emissions Fluid) shipments to their stations by THIRTY percent.
They also told Pilot/Flying J to reduce their diesel-fuel shipments by 26%.
Flying J supplies 30% of the DEF used in the USA. Without DEF, (per Federal regulations!!) diesel engines will not run.
Whatever you have in your home, including the lumber, floors, and toilet, was brought to you by a diesel truck. Everything in your refrigerator was brought by diesel truck (or at least farmed with a diesel tractor.)
What is the objective of Union Pacific here? Hmmmmm??

I don't know about the rest of the country, but the Pilot and Yong here get their DEF from a 3rd party trucking company and DEF company.
And according to this article Flying J doesn't produce any DEF. https://trucktanks.com/def-manufacturers-diesel-exhaust-fluid/
