Durbin Doing Right Thing on Immigration Bill

Here's a case where an allegedly "conservative" news-source is wrong.  They swallowed the spin and pushed it out, claiming Durbin's action is all politics.  Actually, in THIS case, Durbin is acting on behalf of US "STEM" graduates.  (Does Tucker know what his reporter is doing??)

...the U.S. senate is debating a landmark immigration bill. The  “Fairness For High Skilled Immigrants Act” has already passed the House of Representatives and has bipartisan support in the Senate. The bill would eliminate the cap on the number of immigrants who come from certain countries, which would in turn reward high-skilled immigrants who want to come to the U.S....

We've commented on this bill before.  Never mind the BS about "high-skilled" and "waiting forever"--this is simply a "CHEAP LABOR" bill.  The purpose is to flood the market with IT drones who will push out US "STEM" graduates.

Are they really "high-skilled"?  No.  Ask Norm Matloff, who teaches in the U.C. system.  They're 'ordinary' talent, by and large.  (See the last graf of the linked post.)

Durbin did the right thing.
