We've commented on this bill before. Never mind the BS about "high-skilled" and "waiting forever"--this is simply a "CHEAP LABOR" bill. The purpose is to flood the market with IT drones who will push out US "STEM" graduates.
Are they really "high-skilled"? No. Ask Norm Matloff, who teaches in the U.C. system. They're 'ordinary' talent, by and large. (See the last graf of the linked post.)
Durbin did the right thing.
