The convoluted 'make the Dems own it' play is actually designed to hike the debt ceiling in December, when few people are paying attention.
Any damn fool knows, Jay, that the Feds' cash-flow covers interest, the military, and Social Security. It just won't cover Stupid Beltway Tricks like OSHA, Dep't of Education, and HHS, among others.
