Are the Bishops Proud of the Democrats?

For 100 years or so, the US Bishops have been organized as the National Catholic Welfare Council (later, NCCB and USCC, later again USCCB.)

The organization was formed to counter the threat of a Federalized education, but by the 1960's the Bishops were taking Federal money for various social-work efforts.

And the Bishops were very friendly with the Democrat Party.  There are lots of reasons for that; in Wisconsin, for example, the Republicans were pushing eugenics, complete with neutering.  That WAS a no-no to Catholics.  (Now, of course, Catholics are perfectly fine with chemical neutering which they call "birth control.")

Anyhow.  Federal money revenues continued to grow and the USCC's admiration for the Democrat Party turned into a hot, passionate, panting, love affair after Kennedy.  LBJ hated Catholics, and he knew exactly how to neuter them:  more money.  Same with the Clintons, Bushes, and Obama.

By the 1990's the USCC was referred to as 'the Democrat Party at prayer.'   To this day, you'll rarely--if ever--hear a US Bishop or priest denigrate what is now the Party of Abortion, Licentiousness, and recently, Fraud, Lying, and Cheating.

Note well:  NO active US Bishop has called out the Democrat Party for the Election Fraud they so proudly sprung on the country and rammed down its throat, although some have ritually decried 'violence' after the Trump rally.

Are the Bishops proud of their pals the Democrats?  Is this the behavior they condone?
