One of my all-time favorites is the inheritance tax. I just love the absolute nerve of it.

Another great one here in Michigan is the "disposing of trash" tax. It's high.

I wouldn't mind so much if we didn't allow Canada to dump tons of it's garbage here on a daily basis... for a fee.

I would think that the taxpayers would get some kind of break from it, like lower "trash taxes". I don't know where the money goes. I don't think anyone really does.

You forgot all the business taxes which are paid by everyone from Quadracci to the small business owners.

Rammer--there is NO list of US, state, and local taxes which is "complete." That would brown-out the internet when posted.
