Went to the Independence Day parade in Brookfield.
NONE of the Elmbrook Schools were represented. In prior years, at least one of the junior-highs would send a band, and BOTH of the high schools' bands were also marching.
Not this year.
Waukesha North sent its band(!!)
Hmmmm.
Maybe Elmbrook's NEA branch nixed it? Or does Elmbrook think that Independence Day parades are a manifestation of "oppressive white systemic racism?"?
Only the superintendent--a politically ambitious fellow--knows for sure. Give him a ring and ask!
