Madison Diocese "Wins" WIthout Going to Court

Dane County will allow church attendance up to 25% of the occupancy permit instead of a maximum of 50 people.  The County gave up without going to court against the Diocese; apparently they were advised that they'd lose.

Or they'd be tarred and feathered.

Or both.

But who calls is "winning" when your church is seventy-five percent empty?

The government in Dane County will graciously grant us one quarter of our constitutional rights, … because, because, err, umm … pandemic, by government definition. Sheep choose your shepherd wisely.

More than likely, Dane County was going to win the lawsuit, but why drag it out.

They'd lose in the only court that matters to politicians: public favor.
