The University of Missouri (Mizzou) is forcing students to download a tracking app to their cellphones so that university officials can keep track of which students attend class, and which ones do not. We can hope that the little darlings will resent and resist this modified Panopticon, now and for the rest of their lives. That's the only benefit I can think of.
