"Low Consumer Confidence," Eh???

The MSM/Democrat Propaganda Machines vomit forth "studies" and "surveys" showing that American consumers are "not confident" in the economy.

Funny, that.  The only "surveys" and "studies" that count are the ones which tell you about consumer spending.

...Americans could eat and drink at home, they could bring lunch to work, etc., but they choose to eat out. And despite Americans sour mood, sales at these establishments continue to soar, they shot way past sales at grocery & beverage stores, and the distance between them keeps growing. Sales at restaurants & bars now account for 14% of total retail sales, behind only motor-vehicle & parts dealers (#1) and ecommerce (#2).

Sales at these food services and drinking places jumped by 0.74% in September from August and by 6.7% year-over-year...

There's more.

...Visa and Mastercard both reported higher quarterly earnings as consumer spending and card payments stayed resilient across key markets.

Visa said fiscal fourth-quarter net revenue rose 12% to $10.7 billion, helped by growth in payments volume, cross-border payments and processed transactions....

Where the rubber meets the road, the American consumer is perfectly happy.

No doubt the Highly Trained Professional Journalists will catch up with the facts, perhaps in 10 years or so.
