Who the Hell made this deal?? Netanyahu?
[Politico's] Tuesday piece dove into the enormous difficulties committed countries will face when trying to enforce the region’s Trump-brokered peace agreement, painting a clear picture that the current plan requires heavy and prolonged American involvement. The report centered around a trove of government documents outlining the lack of a clear path forward.
“Divorced from the peace deal is a plan of how to actually implement this peace deal,” one of the article’s sources is quoted as saying. ...
Oh, it gets better!
...The one clear thing is that the United States will remain entrenched in the region for a long time. Possibly lifetimes. Get a load of these snippets from Politico’s reporting. Emphasis is ours.
The Palestinian body that ultimately governs Gaza will need “long-term U.S. and international support,” one document states. “Security and police forces may need outside funding and advising for decades.”
Quickly standing up the International Stabilization Force is crucial, but there are huge challenges to doing so… the ISF is supposed to be “U.S. coordinated.”
An organizational chart tucked in the documents spells out how Gaza will be managed and run. The chart sketches out significant U.S. involvement aside from security, including overseeing economic reconstruction....
OK, so Goldman Sachs/JPMorgan Chase's Big Investment will require US security guarantees. Because we owe that to Goldie and JPMorgan, see?
But there's even MORE!!!
...that’s all without mentioning recent reports that the U.S. is planning to build a $500 million military base near Gaza. The facility could house up to 10,000 troops. ...
Doesn't take much to smell the fetid aroma of Netanyahu's breath here, does it?
So. The US taxpayer "invests" several billion dollars into Gaza, rather than into roads and parks for US citizens. Then it protects the family jewels of Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase, by building and occupying a 10,000 person military installation.
Just co-incidence that "Fort Bibi" will also protect Israel.

That looks an awful lot like a pre-Trump wishlist. For good or bad, that's not quite how things work anymore.
YOU voted for Trump who is in league with Israel. Why complain, Dad29? You got bamboozled. Might as well wear the yamaka.
……Donald Trump’s MAGA movement, upon which millions of Americans naively projected their visions of a national revival, has collapsed under the weight of its internal contradictions.
It was only a matter of time before even the most steadfast MAGA loyalists came to realize that Trump’s idea of America First was actually Israel First, and that free speech on the GOP plantation is limited to a rigidly circumscribed paddock closely monitored by the Jewish oligarchs. “Facts don’t care about your feelings!” Really? Whose feelings are more fragile than those of histrionic Jewish “conservatives” like Florida Congressman Randy Fine or broadcasters Mark Levin, Josh Hammer and Ben Shapiro? All of these individuals heap hosannas on Benjamin Netanyahu for his genocide of two million Gazans while simultaneously sullying the reputation of Tucker Carlson for nothing more than daring to have a conversation with a popular podcaster without first consulting the Sanhedrin.
At this point, even an apolitical dimwit can perceive the primary principle motivating the Trump administration: “Is it good for Israel?” Whether this entails bombing Iran, aiding and abetting a genocide, obliterating free speech on college campuses or shielding an Israeli official charged with child sex crimes in Nevada, rest assured no job is too sordid for Trump, Vance & Co. when Israel’s interests are hanging in the balance.
Republican Congressman Thomas Massie is one of only a handful of US representatives whose positions can — to a large degree — be said to align with the tenets of America First. Over the course of his 13-year congressional career Massie has made some powerful enemies, mostly due to his outspoken opposition to foreign aid and his consistent voting record against pro-Israel legislation. Despite his defense of American sovereignty — or actually because of it — Massie has frequently been the target of organized campaigns designed to oust him from office in favor of someone more congenial to the Elders of Zion…….

Interesting: today's Treehouse carries a strong condemnation of Massie from someone who (seems to be) a MAGA kinda guy. Since Massie is a Libertarian, he would naturally oppose big parts of the MAGA agenda. But Treehouse suspects that Massie is really a Deep State apparatchik.
Given Treehouse's track record on the issue, I like his thinking more than yours.
Anony 2 displays the incoherence of the TDS-afflicted. Maybe Pfizer has a drug for that?
Why do you support Trump, who is paid to look out for Israel's interests at the expense of America's interest?
OK, Anony. I mis-spoke (as it were.) Above, I referred to your "thinking." But I used "thinking" without evidence.....clearly an error on my part. Apologies.
