Yah, Target did itself no favors with its "Let Kids Be Trannies!!" and 'rainbow' month crapola.
Noted at Ace: their 2Q sales were (YoY) off by about 2%. Not bad, until you consider inflation of 4-5%, because that means that TGT's 'merchandise moved' was off by 6-7%.
Not good.
In fact, TGT lost ground to "All Retail", which did manage to keep up with inflation at about a 4% gain compared to last year's quarter.
TGT had best get focused on target if they intend to be around in 10 years.
