Allahpundit (!!) On Feingold, the No-Party-Name Candidate

Didn't notice this myself, but that's because I don't care what Feinie says...

...Feingold’s approach here is the smart way to go this year: Not once in either ad do the cursed names of his party or the president appear, although the word “independent” is mentioned and in the first spot he vows to put people ahead of “any party or corporate interest.” Even so, this is a vivid illustration of just how epically the alleged Great Liberal Realignment of 2008 has failed.

After two days in the desert sun
My skin began to turn red
After three days in the desert fun
I was looking at a river bed
And the story it told of a river that flowed
Made me sad to think it was dead

Now Feinie's riding the horse with no name.

Actually Dad, from driving around the state recently I notice a distinct lack of party affiliation on many election signs. If you were not familiar with the candidate, you would have no idea which party he/she was from in many cases.

A fear of the anti-incumbency attitude abroad perhaps - or maybe this was always the case and I didn't notice it before?
