Big Bank vs. YOU

We've always 'banked local.'  Although that's become less and less a 'personal banker' thing as machines and ultra-low wages take over the bank market, the Big Banks have never, ever, had any interest in Joe Lunchbox bank relationships.

NeverAnd my memory of these jackwads goes back over 50 years.

Tucker Carlson dug up another reason to avoid Big Bank.

...It turns out that Bank of America voluntarily got on the computer and searched its databases -- that means, it searched your private financial records -- to learn whether you traveled to D.C., stayed anywhere within a vast radius of D.C., bought anything at a weapons store in D.C. (whether ammo or a can opener), and bought airline tickets to anywhere....

They didn't have to, and actually had legal grounds to tell the FEEBS to stuff it up their ass.

But they didn't.

Look:  if you need a 9-figure line of credit, or travel extensively--requiring cash-availability in all sorts of places--a Big Bank (Wells, Citi, BoA, Chase) is what you're stuck with, although for traveling, a 'convenience' account is all you really need--plus travelers' checks.

If you don't fit the above, get the Hell out of those banks.  They are NOT there for you.
