Shadow Government Statistics has been around for a while. Basically, this guy uses measurements which the Feds have stopped using--not only for unemployment, but also for inflation and other key measures. (He thinks that the Feds 'massage' the numbers. So do I.)
Anyhoo, Shadow's line is the dark-blue one. Note that it tracks very well with the 'official' numbers, but that it's a lot more dismal.
