Louisiana GOVERNOR Blocked the Food

This is all over the 'net--but for those three of you who read this blog and ignore all the other sources, it has now been reported (and confirmed, Xoff) that the Louisiana Department of Homeland Security blocked Red Cross from delivering food and water to New Orleans.

Red Cross had the goods, just outside the city, ready to feed/hydrate people in the Superdome and Convention Center.

But the LA Government, headed by the Wet-Panted Governorette, blocked access to New Orleans.

Fox's Major Garrett reported it; Hugh Hewitt interviewed him; the Red Cross website confirms it.

No statement is available from the Governorette.

It just goes to show that she is completely clueless on what to do. Between her and Nagin, they really dropped the ball and by dropping the ball, they let 1000s of people die. I find it hard to believe that this "committee" is going to find the feds to blame at all but when it comes down to it, the people of the Gulf Coast will still blame the President.

I think the local and state officials should be removed from office for this "blunder." It really frustrates me to think that they are blaming Bush but he doesn't have the cajones to stick up for himself. Go figure, I think he's getting fond of being the whipping boy.

Politics, NCT, politics. Revenge is a dish best served cold, ice cold. He is playing the "I am not pointing fingers yet" patience game. Whne reports indicate that the local government was at fault, he will be all over it like flies of dog doo-doo.
