Milwaukee County's Board has approved a sales-tax increase, following the City of Milwaukee's approval of a much larger increase.
There was more Barnum & Bailey on the matter than there ever was in Baraboo. Colossal fakery abounded.
Why?
Because if the taxes had not increased, city and county politicians would have to do the really hard thing: cut their massive over-spending.
They won't cut the spending. Ever.
But they'll be happy to take more of your money, suckers!

I just moved out of Milwaukee Cty. Now in Waukesha. I Hate moving but Milw Cty is FUBAR.
