"Ghost Gun" is the new scary monster hiding under your bed, ya'know.
...It's not just the city. Ghost guns have been found across Wisconsin. Kenosha police recently located one during a drug investigation. Four years ago, the shooter who opened fire at a Middleton software company used one to wound four people.
Nationwide, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives received reports of about 20,000 suspected ghost guns from law enforcement last year alone....
"Suspected" ghost guns? What does that mean?
And while we're at it: what makes a "ghost gun" more dangerous than a serial-numbered gun? Answer: not a damn thing.
The Totalitarians want to know who has guns for their own safety, not yours. If they actually gave a rotten damn about your safety, there would be a lot more people in prison.
The problem is that John Chisholm (and the US Attorney) don't like to prosecute gun crimes; in Chisholm's case, he doesn't like to prosecute crimes, period. So armed criminals continue on their merry way and YOU get the blame.
So: we don't know how many "ghost" guns there really are in the US; they are not any more dangerous than non-ghost guns; and nobody's going to prison for crimes anymore anyway.
Be afraid? Yes. Get yourself a gun, ghost or otherwise.
