The quick take on FoMoCo common shares was always "It's a $12.00 stock."
And it has been, although with a couple of serious dips, like the one it took after Ford refused a Government bailout; the stock went to $2.00 or so--then recovered.
But Ford is a different company now.
...ITEM 3: NYT reported, “Ford Reports Quarterly Loss but Says Sales Grew.”
The story said, “The division of the company that makes gasoline and hybrid vehicles earned $813 million before interest and taxes in the fourth quarter, and its commercial vehicle division made $1.8 billion. The unit that makes electric vehicles lost $1.6 billion.”...Quoted at Surber's place.
How long can commercials and gas/gas-hybrids keep a $1.6 BN loser afloat?
We'll find out!
