Abp Listecki's Unjust Law

In addition to the shocking memo delaying public Mass at several majority-Hispanic parishes in Milwaukee, the Archbishop has promulgated a classic "unjust law"

Communion is to be received ONLY in the HAND.
There is absolutely no legal foundation for this proscription and since it is an unjust law, any priest may simply disregard it.  Of course, that priest will be hung by their thumbs and exiled to a Diocese in Northern Alaska--or forcibly retired--or dragged off to one of the two psychiatric "hospitals" run by Nurse Rached and favored by the Bishops in Maryland and New Mexico (IIRC).

The Archbishop sprays foo-foo dust about some Canon Law which he claims over-rides the permanent law of the Church.  Uh-huh.  This Archbishop is not telling the truth, which happens to be a major fault among priests in this Archdiocese, too.

His lottery-game "instructions" for parishes attempting to hold public Masses is another story, of course.

Not very hard to conclude that Abp. Jerry really doesn't want Catholics in the pews, is it?

For the record, there is only ONE Diocese in Northern Alaska, and that is Fairbanks.

Not an unjust law in the least. The RCC has done yeoman's work protecting the flock.

Supreme Court, splitting 5-4, rejects challenge from California church to public gathering restrictions. Roberts joined the liberal justices to form a majority. Justice prevails.
