Madistan Antifa Lights Up

Madison's Antifa residents--oh, yes, there are quite a few--showed up last night.

Wisconsin’s capital city exploded with looting, tear gas and fire Saturday night, hours after a peaceful protest over the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer.

Protesters on and around State Street in downtown Madison threw rocks at state troopers wearing riot gear, smashed storefront windows, spray painted “I can’t breathe” and obscenities against police on buildings, sidewalks and destroyed police cars.

The crowd began the night of violence and destruction by confronting state police with projectile water bottles and nearby rocks. When the troopers would throw cans of tear gas at the crowd, the crowd threw it back at police. ...
That's an Antifa 101 tactic.  Here's another:

...At one point, dozens of gallons of milk were distributed to help protesters alleviate the pain caused by tear gas...
Naturally, the Madison Mayor-ette and cop-shop were totally unprepared.

...About an hour before two squad cars were destroyed and one engulfed in flames, Madison Police Chief Victor Wahl said arrests were not planned Saturday night because police were outnumbered and did not want to escalate tensions....
Hell, Chief.......you could have simply told all your cops to stay home, being as you had no plans for them that night.  Save a lot of payroll expense and at least one squad car, ya'know.

UPDATE:  Madison cop shop put out a bulletin on the riot, and here's a part:

...One MPD squad was broken into, driven a short distance and then set on fire.  The vehicle was a complete loss. Two rifles were stolen from the vehicle before it was destroyed....
THAT raises a few questions about SOP's in that place, no?

Tony's Tigers were out, acting on Tony's instructions:

...A line of state troopers stood nearby but did not intervene. About half an hour later firefighters put out the flames and officers arrived on the scene....
Too bad.  It's a nice town.
