"Sequester", Eh?

Some purchases are not part of Sequestergeddon.

Like the zillion-bullet purchases of Homeland "Security"--or these:

The Department of Homeland Security (through the U.S. Army Forces Command) recently retrofitted 2,717 of these ‘Mine Resistant Protected’ vehicles for service on the streets of the United States.

That would be more than 50 per State.

What's Obozo expecting?

"What's Obozo expecting?"

I think you meant to ask "What's Obozo planning?"

According to this these units are being purchased by the Navy for the Marine Corps.

Jim, DHS is getting them through the marines. It's a roundabout way gov't does things. Like having departments that don't have weapons buying ammo. DHS is getting them and setting them up for American streets. The question remains. Why? Or am I racist for asking that?

Do you have any verifiable source for that, Billiam?

Which? The MRAPS or the ammo? Also, as to verifiable source, does the definition mean one you'll accept? I mean, let's be honest with each other, as we usually are. We come at things from a very different belief system. Our 'politics' determine what we'll accept sometimes.

That being said, do you have a source?
