Need a Budget Cut? How About D of Energy?

The Department of Energy is largely a waste of oxygen.

While the United States produced 69% the petroleum it consumed in 1970, this figure has dropped to 25% in 2005.

Department of Energy has requested $39Billion for 2012.

Give them $10Bn and tell them to use it for shutting down. Move the NRC over to Commerce. Move the international atomic bunch to State.

Not to worry: we'll cut those budgets next.
