Red China Moves to Dis-Elect Trump

The Chinese Communists dislike Trump.  Intensely.  He has cost them money and prestige and he has identified them as a serious threat to the US (and the West).

Therefore, they have begun actively campaigning against him with moves on several fronts.

1)  They have instructed North Korea to defy Trump by continuing to rebuild its nuke-bomb facilities, and

2)  They have cancelled the "trade agreement" meeting between Trump and Xi scheduled for this month.

3)  They are actively "spider-and-fly" entrapping Western European and African nations into their orbit with their "Belt-and-Road" debt slavery package.  The latest sucker appears to be Italy.

4)  They are likely involved with efforts to make Russia "the enemy", which serves to deflect attention from themselves.

This gives Trump's opposition some ammunition and you can expect them to use it.  Watch the Chamber of Commerce and their bought-and-paid-for Globalist senators and representatives, for example.

Communist China has taken a financial beating because Trump is an "America First" trade warrior, unlike the Nixon, Clinton/Obama, and Bush-the-Dummy's) submissive stupidities.  Trump has also taken national security actions which have hindered Red China's spying efforts (see Huawei as only one example).

Next up:  cancellation of the planned production at Foxconn.

Red China does not care who gets elected, so long as that President serves Red China's interests.  A Globalist Republican, a Globalist Democrat?  Either.  For that matter, a Globaloney Congress will work, too.

Lots of moving parts here, folks.  Pay attention!

The Russians!!! The Russians!!!! OMG!!!

Bloomberg wets its pants, Putin laughs out loud watching....

This "news" item is merely a setup.  See below.

Russian internet trolls appear to be shifting strategy in their efforts to disrupt the 2020 U.S. elections, promoting politically divisive messages through phony social media accounts instead of creating propaganda themselves, cybersecurity experts say.

The Kremlin-linked Internet Research Agency may be among those trying to circumvent protections put in place by companies including Facebook Inc. and Twitter Inc. to find and remove fake content that hackers created to sow division among the American electorate in the 2016 presidential campaign.

“Instead of creating content themselves, we see them amplifying content,” said John Hultquist, the director of intelligence analysis at FireEye Inc. “Then it’s not necessarily inauthentic, and that creates an opportunity for them to hide behind somebody else.”...
What Bloomberg really means is this:  if you are pro-Trump, you are ipso facto assisting or cooperating with The Russians Who Are a Menace To All Unicorns and Pixies.

Thus, you will be subject to surveillance and/or arrest by NSA and FBI, or Stasi as soon as The Revolution is effected when the Democrat is elected in 2020.   (Or 2024.  The internet is forever.)

There will be trials, of course.  *snicker*

Laymen Lead in New York: Boot Abortion-Voter

We note that unlike some timorous *cough* Cardinals and Bishops, laymen in New York have no problem whatsoever kicking a Democrat baby-killer to the curb.

In this instance, a Monsignor wrote the letter.  Makes it even nicer!!

Salutations!!

...Monsignor Steven R. Camp, the Catholic chaplain of the Ancient Order of Hibernians’ (AOH) John F. Kennedy Division 4 of Suffolk County, told Gaughran in a letter last month that his vote in favor of the state’s recently passed Reproductive Health Act had caused “great dismay” among his fellow Irish Catholics.

“The membership is dismayed that a member of their order could vote for such a law,” stated the letter as reported by Catholic News Agency. “This law violates all the principles the AOH has ascribed to since its founding, adherence to our Roman Catholic faith, and the security of the Irish race,” wrote Monsignor Camp on behalf of the AOH divisional leadership and membership. ...
Pretty elegant wording for "You may go to Hell, but we are not going with you."

The Effect of Marijuana on Judges

Here's what happens when jackasses-in-black do dope.

...Seeborg expressed concern that including the question would depress response rates as immigrants and noncitizens are fearful to reveal their immigration status, thereby creating “a significant risk of distorting the apportionment of congressional representation among the states. In short, the inclusion of the citizenship question on the 2020 Census threatens the very foundation of our democratic system.”...
Umnnnnhhhh.....as I recall,  Members of Congress represent CITIZENS, not whoever the Hell happens to be camped out in the country this week.

Now, then.  If Seeborg is ruling based on some other Court's definition, all that means is that the other Court consists of heavy dope abusers.

Trump Was Suckered on Afghanistan

Poor General Votel.  His job is (apparently) to keep US troops dying in Afghanistan until the End of Time.

That's because Trump gave the War Party the excuse they need:  "Political Stability." and the General is simply playing that tune.

Trump was suckered here, just like he was with his "high-tech" imported-labor scheme.

Too bad.  Trump started out rather well.

"It's Lying, and It's All About the Money": Greenpeace Founder

The co-founder of Greenpeace understands what "climate change" is all about.  (So did AlGore, who has become a very, very, very rich man with this scam.)

Who'da thunk??

You start with large doses of Fear and add a few gallons of Guilt.

...Fear has been used all through history to gain control of people’s minds and wallets and all else, and the climate catastrophe is strictly a fear campaign — well, fear and guilt — you’re afraid you’re killing your children because you’re driving them in your SUV and emitting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and you feel guilty for doing that.....
That sets the table.  Then you pour on the Accelerant (the Fake News) and keep that Fake News coming--by paying "scientists" to invent stuff.

...And so you’ve got the green movement creating stories that instill fear in the public. You’ve got the media echo chamber — fake news — repeating it over and over and over again to everybody that they’re killing their children, and then you’ve got the green politicians who are buying scientists with government money to produce fear for them in the form of scientific-looking materials, and then you’ve got the green businesses, the rent-seekers and the crony capitalists who are taking advantage of massive subsidies, huge tax write-offs, and government mandates requiring their technologies to make a fortune on this, and then of course you’ve got the scientists who are willingly, they’re basically hooked on government grants....
Yes, that means they lie for money.  And that means we've all been ripped off, and WILL be ripped off for decades to come.

And the same BS-and-Grifter routine applies to "clean water" and "clean food" scams.

Spingola Has It Right

Spingola observes that there is a problem.

...In 1960, the African-American incarceration rate was 10 percent. This was prior to many of the Warren Court’s defendant’s rights rulings, which extended the exclusionary rule to states and afforded indigent defendants attorneys at taxpayers’ expense. In 1965, out-of-wedlock African-American births stood at 24 percent. By 2012, the African-American out-of-wedlock birth rate in Wisconsin had escalated 86 percent, and the “black incarceration rate” also had tripled. Go figure....

Another way to put it:  The State is now The Father, providing the money, and a VERY large number of  The State's boy-children are in prison.

And Tokin' Tony wants The State to let its children out of prison.  Because.

Trump bought into this line of crap and he was wrong, too.

The Happy Crap Attack on Hagedorn's "Incorporation"

Teapot, meet small load of re-condensed water.

Hagedorn, reading the Constitution as written, correctly notes that there WAS no bar to a State establishing its own religion.  And there was not--originally.

Then came the 14th Amendment and "incorporation," which had the effect of forcing all the States to recognize the entire Bill of Rights and put them into effect.

That's what Daniel Bice would have you believe.  But it's not true, as most adults know.

Incorporation is NOT applied to all of the Bill of Rights as Bice claims:

...They said this week that the high court has explicitly applied or "incorporated" the protections in the Bill of Rights — including the ban on establishing a religion — to all of the states as a result of the passage of the 14th Amendment in 1868. ...

Well, except for the Second Amendment, Dan.

Incorporating the 2A?  Not in Shirley's wildest dreams.

Anyhow, Hagedorn raises an interesting question which has a lot to do with Neubauer.

...He said he now believes the "original public meaning" of the 14th Amendment incorporated the Bill of Rights, including the Establishment Clause, and applied them to the states. He added that he reaches that conclusion differently than most others.

Contrary to Idleman, Hagedorn said this is not a settled issue but the subject "of lively, ongoing debate among constitutional scholars and courts."

"That said, my goal in any case raising this question would be to follow the governing precedent of the U.S. Supreme Court," Hagedorn wrote.

And just so his 2005 blog post on this issue isn't misconstrued, Hagedorn added that as a matter of public policy, he believed even back then that it would be "a very bad idea" for any state to establish an official religion.

"What is constitutional and what is good public policy are two very different questions," he said on Tuesday — a distinction he has previously made regarding legalization of bestiality....
Hagedorn and many other (not just two) Con scholars (and Federal Courts) affirm that secular humanism IS a religion.  Since that is the case, secular humanism can NOT enjoy any more rights than any other religion.

But as we all know, it certainly does It is the religion which preaches "gay marriage."

The "gay marriage," abortion, and birth control decisions were all created not from Constitutional Law but from "substantive due process," an invention of Earl Warren's Left-O-Rama Court.  Now this theory is the unindicted co-conspirator of the Religion of Secular Humanism which had declared war on actual religion.

This is the battle for the next 20-30 years, friends.

Leftists Unite on Eliminating Freedom of Religion

If you've paid attention to the Wisconsin Supreme Court race, you noted that the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and the Neubauer campaign (but I repeat myself) are fixated on eradicating the practice of religion, at least by people who run for office in this State.

That's the local showing of the national project.  The Kavanaugh hearings, the Amy Barrett hearings, Baldwin (the Bigot)'s quashing of the Giampietro nomination, the Brian Buescher hearings, all demonstrated this beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Kamala Harris is working on the same game, following Obama's attempt in ObamaCare.

Do you have a right to run your business in keeping with your moral and religious values? Or can the federal government force you to act against your conscience and the teachings of your faith? Can the government force you — because you own a for-profit enterprise — to cooperate in the taking of an innocent human life?
Sen. Kamala Harris of California believes the government ought to have that power. She has made it one of her crusades....
All these have two things in common:  abortion and the homosexual-transgender agenda.  It is a blatant, concentrated, and desperate campaign to demolish religious beliefs and natural law.

Would be nice to hear a coalition of religious leaders speak up about this, no?

Yah.  Don't hold your breath.

Evers the Super-Spender; Walker the Runner-Up

The more one knows about Evers' budget, the more one is convinced that it's really a joke.

But there's more to it than just Evers.

MacIver has a thorough but not detailed look at Evers' offering here.  I noticed total spending and headcount.  In Evers' world, total spending will increase by about $4 BILLION and Gummint employees will go from 71,200 to 71,900.  Large numbers, eh?

Well, then....let's look back a bit.

The increase in OVERALL spending from (FY) 2010 through 2018 was $6 BILLION--which is twenty percent.  TWENTY percent from a "conservative Republican" governor.  Have YOU increased YOUR spending by 20% in the last 8 years??

Evers may be smoking something funny, but Walker....well......I've told my family and friends that Walker is "a government man," and he certainly is that.

Francis Clears the Way for Communist Party?

The last thing Pope Francis I wants is a viable Catholic political movement.

...“I invite you to live your faith with great freedom, never believing that there is a single form of political commitment for Catholics: a Catholic party,” the pope told a delegation of young Latin Americans from the Academy of Catholic Leaders Monday. “A Catholic party no longer works.”

“In politics, it is better to have a polyphony inspired by the same faith and composed of different sounds and instruments than a dull, monotonous melody that is seemingly correct but homogenizing and neutralizing,” he added. “No, it’s not the way.”...

There are a few small groups which consider themselves to be "Catholic" political movements; usually they advocate for monarchy, not republican-parliamentary forms of government, and as a result they are not particularly influential.  In the USA, the Catholic vote leans Democrat but since JFK died, the Republican Party has gained a lot of ground.  However, neither party has a consistent "Catholic" platform by any stretch of the imagination.

This Pope's "politics," however, appear to be largely "liberation theology", which is a thinly-disguised neo-Communist theo-philosophical construct condemned by John Paul II.  Neumayr has a few things to say about Francis' orientation:

...His mentor was Esther Ballestrino de Careaga who was a very fervent Communist. Francis has acknowledged that he had teachers who were Communists who influenced him. I point out in my book that he also met with the widow of Paulo Freire, the author of the book The Pedagogy of the Oppressed which is a classic of the Socialist left in Latin America.

MH: Which practical acts as pope show that Pope Francis actively supports Marxist or revolutionary movements?

GN: I document in the book all of the liberation theologians whom Pope Francis has rehabilitated. Leonardo Boff is at the top of the list. He is an openly Socialist priest who left the priesthood but who is now in the good graces of the Vatican so much so that he was a counselor to the papal encyclical Laudato si. He also reinstated to the priesthood the Communist priest Miguel d’Escoto Brockmann from Nicaragua who is still in touch with President Daniel Ortega. That priest has now resumed his Communist polemics....
Were a "Catholic" party to arise, it would likely shove Francis' neo-Communist teachings into the dustbin of history.  This is his fear, as it is the fear of the "St Gall Mafia", a Communist cell operating at very high levels in the Church.

No wonder he doesn't want a "Catholic" party.  Some speculate that he doesn't want a Catholic Church, either, but that's another blog post.

AOC Is Not Only Dumb; She's Prolly a Crook, Too

The NY Post couldn't find signs of regular occupancy at AOC's "home address" in New York.  Her boyfriend was  given access to House email, and not just "calendar" access.  Her Chief of Staff is a zillionaire--but curiously, also a Communist.

And he was running a game on the campaign-finance rules.

...The complaint names Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Saikat Chakrabarti and asks the FEC to investigate and audit the two PACs alleging they were engaged in “an elaborate scheme to avoid proper disclosure of campaign expenditures,” reported the Examiner.

“It appears Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her associates ran an off-the-books operation to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars, thus violating the foundation of all campaign finance laws: transparency,” Director of National Legal Policy Center Tom Anderson said.

Chakrabarti founded the two PACs in question in 2016 and 2017.....

Being a crooked Congressman is not new.  But usually it takes more than 60 days to get there.

The Rot in Obama's Department of Injustice

The list of craven and rotten slimeballs in the Obama Department of "Justice" is very long.

But--conveniently--they are all only a degree or two separated from Robert Mueller and his patroness, Hillary Clinton.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff intends to rely on testimony from former felon and Russian mobster Felix Sater during the committee’s investigation into President Trump’s finances and connection to Russia. Sater’s name was brought into the 2015 confirmation hearing of former Attorney General Loretta Lynch when issues related to her previous office allegedly maintaining a secret docket of criminal informants arose...

Sater is a Russian Mob lieutenant.  While Lynch and Mueller and Weissman gave him a get-out-of-prison card, he continued to steal millions of dollars from various marks.

Now, then.  Why would Schitt-for-brains in the House want to hear from Sater about Trump??

Sater’s freedom continues to depend on his cooperation with federal authorities thanks to the Eastern District office headed up by Lynch before she became AG.
Huh.  Whoodathunkit??

[Sidney] Powell later noted to The Daily Caller, “Notably, (Andrew) Weissmann, Leslie Caldwell and Loretta Lynch–all of whom returned to DOJ as part of Obama’s Deep State Transition Team–have been inextricably intertwined with Sater’s criminal conduct, manipulations, setups, and con jobs for years.
She added, “Weissmann and Caldwell are also the lead villains in ‘License to Lie.‘ This cabal of prosecutors are also all Mueller devotees and were hand-picked by him and others for the Enron Task Force–all birds of a feather.”
Yes, that's the very same Lynch who spent a couple hours "discussing grandchildren" with Bill Clinton.

Donald Trump will not have enough time to clean out the s***hole which is the DoJ.  Sad.

Libertarians For Judge? No, Thanks.

It's about damn time.

The nomination of Neomi Rao to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit exposed oft-ignored fissures within the right-wing legal establishment, aggravating social conservatives who feel their priorities have been unfairly eclipsed.

GOP Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri was the most vocal Rao-skeptic among Senate Republicans, divining from her scholarly writings possible support for progressive landmarks like Roe v. Wade. Rao is sometimes associated with libertarian legal scholarship...

Well, well!  Somebody is smelling the coffee!  And there's more.

...Professor Adrian Vermeule of Harvard Law School agreed that social conservatives are becoming less interested in legal method and more interested in pure results. He cited growing skepticism of free market ideology and a feeling of betrayal on issues like abortion as driving the religious right’s reorientation.

“I think the real reason social conservatives are becoming more oriented to results is simply mistrust of the corporate, libertarian wing of conservatism,” Vermeule told TheDCNF. “And that mistrust emphatically extends to judicial nominees.”...
The key phrase is "substantive due process," which grants rights--such as "privacy"--which cannot be found in the Constitution.  As you recall, "privacy" was a major building-block for Griswold and, subsequently, Roe.

Ted Cruz demonstrates why he was my FIRST choice for President:

...GOP Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas seemed to share Hawley’s concern. During Thursday’s hearing, Cruz suggested he would oppose Rao were she ever nominated for the Supreme Court....
There is a vast chasm between Libertarianism and the Judaeo-Christian tradition on which this country was built.  May as well get it straight:  Libertarianism is an elegant word for libertine-ism, which is not Conservatism.

McGowan Doesn't Know How It Works

Some people are profoundly ignorant of humanity.  Rose McGowan is one of them.

Actress-turned-activist Rose McGowan claimed that she had an abortion when she was younger so she could “change the world” instead of raising a child.
She could have RULED the world by rocking the cradle; instead, she commits murder to "change" the world.

Poor choice.

Greenpeace Founder Hammers AOC

The founder of Greenpeace, one of the veterans in the ecology/green movement, has NO use for AOC.

Pompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get the food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

You are delusional if you think fossil fuels will end any time soon, maybe in 500 yrs. AOC’s attitude is unjustifiably condescending. She is a neophyte pretending to be wise. Her kind bring ruination if allowed to be “in charge”. (from the cheap seats).

Best part here:

[As to removing all greenhouse gases from the atmosphere:]

Technically (scientifically) this would mean removing all H2O vapour and all CO2 which would mean the eradication of all life on Earth.

Brilliant.

That won't shut her up, of course......but it's a start.

Tokin' Tony's Horrible "Green Energy" Idea

Wisconsin uses about 5,273,000 megawatts of electricity (MW).

OK.  So Tokin' Tony wants to eliminate all the nuke, coal, and gas-fired generators and switch to wind and solar by 2070 or so.  That means we have to replace 90% of that 5,273,000 MW--or about 4,500,000 MW.

That will take up a really, really, really, big chunk of land

Let's pretend that we'll get a little more than half from solar and a little less than half from windmills so that it takes about 50 acres/megawatt, on average.

*scritch scratch scritch scratch* math is hard.....

225,000,000 acres!!

That's a problem.  See, Wisconsin only has 34,800,000 acres of land.

Maybe Tokin' Tony plans on annexing Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, and Michigan??

George Stanley's Massive "OOOOPS!"

A few years ago, George Stanley's Milwaukee birdcage-liner was crusading about bisphenol-A.

Remember?  It was going to kill all the children and most of the adults on the planet.  Or like that.  Disaster!  Doom!!  Women and Children are hardest hit.  Or something

Uh-huh.

....the notion that chemicals such as bisphenol A, found in plastics, are acting as ‘endocrine disruptors’, interfering with human hormones even at very low doses, started with an outright fraudulent study that has since been retracted. Many low-quality studies on BPA have pushed this theory, but they have been torpedoed by high-quality analyses including a recent US government study called Clarity. Yet this is of course being largely ignored by the media and the activists....
Whoooops!!  That takes care of THAT Pulitzer, eh, George?

Maybe George should read this entry of mine (and the essay at the internal link!!).  Might keep him from having to beg for subscribers every day, eh?

Wiggy Reviews Tokin' Tony's** "Budget"

First thing:  it's not a budget.  It's a cartoon drawn with stick-figures, just like any 5-year-old would do it.

That said, Wiggy has a few choice words about it in "winner/loser" format.  Samples:

...Loser: Doctors trying to leave early on Friday, because they will be inundated with requests for medical marijuana prescriptions the weekend before Jimmy Buffet at Alpine, or when Sublime plays the the afternoon show at Summerfest.

Winner: Wisconsin Paper Council, because a 1,200 page document will be delivered to every legislative office and promptly thrown in the trash, and then every legislative office will print out the 2017-2019 budget to use as their base document.

Winner: Fans of George Wallace. There is a new old white male Democrat standing in the door of the school keeping African American children from receiving a good education. Failing schools now, failing schools forever.*

Winner: Cave dwellers, because that’s the only place people are going to be able to live if Wisconsin is powered by 100 percent renewable energy by 2050.

Loser: Tax filers. Evers is going to add 36 more people to the Department of Revenue to shake down the taxpayers for more money. But they will play “On Wisconsin” during every audit....
We agree with Wiggy that Tokin' Tony should be the Honorary Campaign Manager for Brian Hagedorn.  He's done a helluvalot more for Brian than 'RJ and Debbie' ever did, or ever will do.

*You have to be over 60 to get the reference to Wallace's speech.

**"Tokin' Tony" honorific stolen directly from Jerry Bott.
