Their Defence Contractors are making weapons cheap as hell
Our corrupt defence contractors specialize in ripping off the tax payers with overpriced systems and on the battlefield around the world our Defense Contractors are having their ass handed to them by whoever they are going up against
Anything our govt touches these days is fake, gay, and a fraud
Agreed: The complex and expensive western world weapons are being effectively countered by less expensive counter measures developed by the rest of the world.
However: The west is actively developing robot weapons. Artificial Intelligence programmed killer machines, minus Asimov constraints, minus moral constraints, plus as much financial credit as needed, could still destroy a pathway to a one planet command and control government. The only fiction in the Terminator franchise was time travel.
