Obama Signs NDAA, Says He Will Not Use Power

Obama signed the very controversial NDAA which includes a section empowering the President to use the military to arrest and indefinitely detain US citizens--including those inside the US--for 'terrorist' activity, whatever "terrorist activity" might mean on any given day.

That language was inserted at the specific request of Obozo.

Of course, when he signed the bill into law, Obozo said that he would 'not use' that provision.

If you're old enough to remember Pogo, the "Back-and-Forthright Candidate" is now the President.

That language was inserted at the specific request of [Obama].

No, if you listen it actually says "the administration asked us to REMOVE the language which says that US citizens and lawful residents would not be subject to this section." [emphasis added]

The debate was hours long and the clip you link to is one minute long so it obviously leaves out hours of context. And that context includes that the administration did not want to change the current law which already excludes citizens and most legal residents from the provision.

Uh huh.

The Administration specifically requested that Feinstein's amendment--which exculpted US citizens from Sec. 1021--be removed.

IOW, Obama's lying, Jim. Face it.
