Not really "insurgent." He's mainstream Democrat these days.

CNN first reported Thursday on Platner’s participation on the subreddit r/SocialistRA, alongside other Reddit forums where he called himself a “communist” and said that “all” police are bastards. All of the posts have been deleted....
Fits right in with AOC, Mamdami, and that AG-WannaBee from Virginia--today's Democrat Party up-and-comers. The difference between them and Antifa? Antifa wears masks and has pre-placed piles of bricks ready to throw.
But he's right about one thing: the Second Amendment is THE bulwark against such as the Obama/Biden fascists. The "self-defense" thing is nice, but was never part of the Founders' thinking when they wrote the Second.
