The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) has a Jerk Problem: they are jerks.
...The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association sanctioned both Bay View and Pulaski High School football teams after MPS failed to file the necessary paperwork with the WIAA.The WIAA forced the two teams to forfeit their 2024 season games and banned them from the playoffs this year and next.
The district told WISN 12 News Wednesday it appealed the punishments, but that the appeal would not be heard by the WIAA until after this year's football season....
Typical WIAA: "We can't possibly call an emergency telephone/virtual meeting. Nope. Not now. Not ever."

... The WIAA did not agree to an interview with WISN 12 News this week....
There are about 40 young men who are being taught that justice is a sometimes thing. Granted: MPS fouled this one up badly.
WIAA's reaction? Punish the kids!!!
Like we said: Jerks.
