As you recall, the State of New York brought a case against Trump for "Fraud" because Deutsche Bank lent him money based on his valuation of Mar-a-Lago as collateral.
New York State claimed he 'over-valued' the estate.
Deutsche Bank testified that they did not care about that.
The appellate court started asking questions about precedents. Were there any other precedents in the State or in the USA which lined up with what the State was doing to Trump?
Some of the appellate justices suggested that the prosecutors were in grave danger of sanction for bringing the case in the first place. At that point, many prosecutors had to change their pants/panties immediately.
Dirtball politics. It's What Democrats Do!!
