A former top FBI official in New York has been arrested due to his alleged ties to a Russian oligarch, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Monday.
Charles McGonigal, formerly the special agent in charge of counterintelligence in the FBI’s New York Field Office, was arrested because of his ties to Oleg Deripaska, according to a DOJ news release and court documents....
