The Stone-Silent +Listecki (and +Haines and +Schueman)

Go ahead, scan the Catholic Herald--the official newspaper of Archbishop Listecki.  I'll wait.

Done?  What have you read about The Scandal?  Since mid-August, what did the Milwaukee Bishops (all of 'em) say about Cdls. McCarrick, Tobin, and Wuerl?  Or Cdl. Cupich?  The Pope's potential complicity?  The testimony of +Vigano?  Or the recently-resigned Bish in West Virginia?

Or the homosexualist priest coming here to spread dissent--one Fr. Massingale?

Hint:  nothing new since +Listecki mewled that he 'has no power.'  (The hell he doesn't; I'd be happy to join him at the airport to push Massingale onto an OUTbound plane as soon as he arrives.  But manhood-stuff, well, we just don't do that, ya'know.  That's Bitter Clinger stuff.  Deplorable stuff.)

Dreher, meantime, has been all over this.  Maybe Jerome Listecki should read a bit.

Here's a chilling item:

...Speaking in a frankly apocalyptic vein, BXVI’s secretary [G. Gaenswein]— think of that! — said these days make him think of the Bible’s warnings that in the Last Days, believers will see “the abomination of desolation in the holy place.” He said that he wonders, along with Cardinal Eijk of the Netherlands, if the Church is facing its final trial before the Second Coming....

So what is the Stone Silent Jerome Listecki going to say when he meets St Pete?  "I just didn't have the power to silence a known heretic and homosexualist who was spreading his poison in my Archdiocese, see?  I was too busy doing other stuff, like greeting Cdl. Cupich and stuff like that, see?  In fact, I was SO busy, that I didn't have the time to ask one of my Auxiliaries to speak or write on the matter, either, see?  And of course, Weakland and Sklba, well, who cares what THEY say about homosexual priests, see??  Please understand!!  Pretty please!!!!???!!??"

Oh, that'll sell, Excellency.

Better that you simply remain stone silent when Pete quizzes you about your shepherd-ing here.  You do silence very well, indeed.
