The Food and Drug Administration's decision to reject the Natural Resources Defense Council's (NRDC) call for the agency to ban bisphenol A (BPA) in food packaging is a huge win for businesses, and more importantly, for consumers.
"While evidence from some studies have raised questions as to whether BPA may be associated with a variety of health effects, there remain serious questions about these studies, particularly as they relate to humans," the agency said, according to The Associated Press.

I'd rather get my "science" from the ACS than the NRDF.
The Food and Drug Administration, however, in its latest ruling stated was NOT the final word and expressed support for further research on the safety of BPA.
So it's "just fine"...for now.
