A coalition of organizations led by officials at the Rutherford Institute is urging members of Congress not to even consider plans to revive the failed Real ID Act of 2005,...
...half the states adopted resolutions or other prohibitions on the federal plan.
Cong. Sensenbrenner made an egregious error by pushing this Statist-enabler through the House. That was a doozy of a mistake. He chose not to fix the real problem--INS and State's sloppy/stupid/careless visa and immigration policies. Rather, he chose to impose a "Your Papers, Please!!" regime on actual citizens.
He should have known better, but the Wisconsin Legislature can fix that. And they should.
