The Reality of the Kimmel Firing

While the Ree-Ree-Ree bunch Wee-Wee-Wees its diapers about Kimmel, you should know this:

...Kimmel blatantly violated FCC regulations. Public broadcasters like ABC are prohibited from spreading false information about a crime or catastrophe, and they can lose their licensure if they don’t adhere to the relevant federal regulations.

No surprise then that Brendan Carr, the FCC chairman, addressed Kimmel’s comments when he went on Benny Johnson’s podcast on Wednesday. “This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney. We can do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways to take action on Kimmel, or there is going to be additional work for the FCC ahead,” Carr said, adding that, “They have a license granted by us at the FCC, and that comes with an obligation to operate in the public interest.”...

Of course, to the MSM, lying about various issues is perfectly acceptable and a time-honored thing, going back to (at least) Walter Cronkite's lying about Viet Nam.

Don't let them fool you.  This is not "free speech."  It is not Trump seeking revenge.

It's about telling the truth, and it may take a very long time and a few license revocations for the MSM to get back to that.  Get your popcorn ready!

So, exactly what was the false information?

Crapper,

If the truth was a semi truck and it hit you head on, you still would not recognize it

So don’t expect us to waste our time pointing it our

Kimmel doesn’t own his employer’s air, so ultimately he’ll either follow his employer’s preferences or he’ll be shown the door. ABC has no obligation whatsoever to absorb defamation suits on Kimmel’s behalf. Kimmel can certainly slander people on his own dime and argue his “rights” out of his own pocket. Jimmy’s free to defame until his bank accounts are depleted. Jimmy has choices.

Ted Cruz and Rand Paul disagree with the FCC’s heavy handed approach here.
