Those of you who think that 'education is fix-able' are living in Clown World.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested Superintendent of Des Moines, Iowa Schools Ian Andre Roberts, an illegal migrant from Guyana. Immigration officials issued Roberts a deportation order in May 2024.
He was making $300,000 a year....
Well, then, he can afford the lawyer who will lose his case.
This bozo "overstayed his student visa" by twenty-five years or so and was given a final deportation order last year, but the Des Moines Board of Ed saw fit to keep him on the payroll.
Education can NOT 'be fixed.'
Oh, yah, that weapons thing, too.

I bet there are folks in Des Moines who will protest this guy's deportation.
I've heard we need illegals to do the jobs Americans won't do. But I kind of think there's probably a few Americans that would do his job.
$300 K Yearly Salary with a car
Who TF vetted him???
.......Roberts was hired as Superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools in July 2023, after a national search process involving an outside firm.
He was granted a superintendent license by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners in the same year, with an FBI criminal background check that somehow failed to flag his immigration issues.,,,,,,,,,,
