Milwaukee officials are bragging that their "improvements" are making streets safer.
...Some positive news in Milwaukee: the city has seen real improvements from traffic calming measures.
That's according to the Department of Public Works....
That's one part of the story.
The other part? Those curb bump-outs at intersections make it impossible to turn a corner with any vehicle longer than a large pickup truck. And poorly marked "Speed Bumps" (most of them are poorly marked) are a threat to suspension systems.
But that's the point. The Left doesn't like cars and trucks and refuses to put reckless drivers in prison.
So it's a two-fer! No more trucks AND lots of free prison space.
