Given the.......ahhh.........nature of NYC Cardinals such as +Cooke and +Egan, it is no surprise that +Dolan has lots of problem priests. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Dolan was deliberately submarined by Dougherty or Salvo. Stay tuned!

Is that what the priest said, that"some catholics" consider it a desecration? If so, that shows he doesnt consider it so. The synodal church does this kind of "oopsie" blasphemy and sacrilege all the time. Its the way they get kicks, putting it right in your face then saying what, who, me? All part of the fun. The response has been wildly inadequate.
The cathedral must be reconsecrated.
