It appears that a Madison concert promo outfit got $10 million in 'covid relief' funds. However, since that promoter (FPC) is a subsidiary of a publicly-traded company (Live Nation Entertainment), the black-letter law says they should NOT have gotten the money.
Probably a litigation matter.
But that's not all. FPC, assisted by the Democrat Poohbah Milwaukee Bucks ownership, obtained the land next to Fiserv Forum on which they will build a big-ass new entertainment and eats venue. The small, local competitors yelled about it, but they are "small" and "local", not Democrat Poohbahs.
Except maybe FPC sees the light at the end of the tunnel and it's a freight-train; they've delayed groundbreaking on the new venue. Maybe a clawback of that $10 million will change their balance sheet, ya think?
Stay tuned!!
