Chesterton, Again

Tolerance is NOT a virtue.  Prudence is.

...St. Thomas Aquinas once said that prudence was the primary cardinal virtue, because it is concerned with the intellect. Prudence is basically the ability to distinguish what is good and bad in any given situation, and to take appropriate action....

One cannot 'tolerate' children attending drag shows, nor being forced to read obscene materials in grade school, or high school for that matter.  One should take appropriate action.

Great memes and so true. Like Fulton Sheen said, our society is not suffering from too little tolerance but too much broadmindedness. Liberal are so broadminded their little grey cells are falling out in droves.

Aquinas actually says Prudence is not only a correct judgment, but acting (important-- ACTING) correctly. The practical syllogism (which prudence is) ends in action, not just judgment.
