Some people think that 87,000 new (armed) IRS agents are needed to collect revenue from high-income cheaters.
Wrong. Those high-income types have 87,000 lawyers.
The new IRS army is there to harass middle-class taxpayers, taking time, money, and energy away from productive pursuits. Also to perpetuate the famous quote: "Nice business you have here. It would be a shame if anything were to happen to it."
