It comes at a difficult time for Waukesha County, which reached 1,900 positive coronavirus cases in July.
"(That) means 60% of all the COVID cases in our county came in this month alone. The month isn't over yet," Jones said.
Must be a really, really, really, serious number of DOOMED, right?
Nope.
Waukesha County's population in 2010 was 389,000. It's 10 years later, so let's make it 400,000; we have lots of refugees from the Big Crime City to the East, ya'know.
Ben Jones tells us that Waukesha County has had a TOTAL of around 4,000 "cases" in 2020.
That's ONE TENTH OF ONE PERCENT OF THE POPULATION. Hardly "DOOM", Ben.
Jones specializes in epidemics. Jus' sayin'......
N.B. Math correction supplied by commenter. I don't specialize in math.

Need to check your math Dad. 4,000 is 1% of 400,000, not 0.1%. I'm in agreement with the conclusion even so.
Gotta stop using that damn phone calculator. Thanks!
