Barack Obama was certainly relevant in the Illinois legislature as a leader, active and productive.

Anyone who is not ignorant knows that voting "present" in the Illinois legislature was a common procedural tactic. His vote on the so-called "live birth" law was in response to the unwanted restrictions on abortion access within a bill that duplicated existing protections for live births.
If you weren't ignorant you would know that?
